She’s convinced he’s guilty. He knows he’s not. Can they survive long enough to prove who’s right?
Former Slye Temp agent Ryder Van Dyke is stuck in an Atlanta penitentiary facing the death penalty after being framed for murder. When his last hope for freedom disintegrates, Ryder is offered a commuted sentence – if he helps the FBI nail a deadly criminal ... his father. But Ryder has his own plan to use this opportunity to prove his innocence, or tap his Special Forces skills to disappear because he is not going back in that cage. FBI analyst Bianca Brady spent two long years substantiating that the head of Van Dyke Enterprises is guilty of funneling weapons to terrorists. Now all she needs is the proof. When her research leads to a potential murder conviction for Ryder Van Dyke, Bianca sees a clear path to take down Ryder’s father and to gain justice for her best friend who died at the hands of a terrorist..
Bianca’s the last person Ryder will trust after she led the charge to put him in prison, but when Ryder accepts the FBI offer there’s only one way to get an agent inside his father’s high-security family compound – as Ryder’s legal wife. The unlikely pair must navigate a minefield of deadly secrets, threats to national security, and a killer with a vendetta, to stay alive until they uncover the truth. But when Bianca becomes the killer’s next target, Ryder is forced to make a choice - give up his freedom or risk the life of the woman who’s stolen his heart.

Honeymoon to Die For by Dianna Love This is the third (and best to date) of the Slye Temp action thriller series by Dianna Love. I connected with these characters. I felt their pain, their anxiety and their angst. I was immediately drawn into the story and kept riveted until the end. Action, adventure, guns, shooting, running, family arguments, humor, spying, sex, deception, sacrifice, and getting it all right in the end. I recommend this book highly for a action packed afternoon of reading. I received this book from the author.
Honeymoon to Die For is the 3rd book in Dianna Love’s wonderful Slye Temp series. It seems with each book, this series gets better. The minute I started this book, I could not put it down. It was so exciting, with wonderful characters; something that Dianna is known for. If you have not read any of Dianna’s books, she has an uncanny ability of always creating wonderful characters that you care about, as well as the secondary characters.
Ryder Van Dyke is our hero in Honeymoon To Die For, and what a hero he is. It didn’t take me long to fall for Ryder, and I think our heroine, Bianca Brady started to fall for him quickly too. The only difference is she thought he was the enemy, and fought hard to fight her attraction. Not me, I fell for him hook, line and sinker all the way.
The story starts with Ryder in prison for a crime he did not commit, and he has been there for 4 months. He knows he has been framed, and Sabrina and the Slye Temp team has tried to help him to no avail. Ryder’s father is a billionaire business man, and Ryder suspects his father had a hand in framing him. The FBI wants Ryder father badly, and he is offered a deal to help them get the information they need. Enter Bianca, who is an FBI agent, who had a hand in sending Ryder to prison. Bianca is an expert analyst, with special computer skills. It is Ryder who insists that Bianca go with him back home to his father, to help find the information the FBI needs, as well as hoping to find out who framed him.
I will not give spoilers, but to tell you that this was such an exciting story from start to finish; another wonderful trademark for Dianna Love’s storytelling. Honeymoon To Die For is a romance suspense thriller all the way. As Ryder and Bianca worked together as a married couple, there were so many tense dangerous moments where both of them had their lives on the line, and us on the edge of our seat. But the best of part of this book, was the buildup of their romance. I loved Ryder from the start, and how he falls hard for Bianca, giving him something he has never had….love. It was a treasure to watch Bianca fight off her attraction to Ryder, as she has not had good experiences with men, only to fall hard. This was such a beautiful romance, one of the best I have read this year. I so enjoyed watching this unlikely couple fall in love, despite the dangers surrounding them. The sexual chemistry between them was hot and steamy, and written so well by Dianna. totally awesome.
Honeymoon to Die For is a great book, that blew me away. If you like romance and suspense thrillers, you must read this book. Dianna Love is a wonderful writer, and I have become such a big fan of her work. I suggest you read this series from the beginning, but Honeymoon To Die For is one not to be missed.
This series keeps getting better and better. Ryder and Bianca are two damaged individuals thrown together to work on a case, and the story is just non-stop excitement! One of the things I love most about this book, and the series, is how each story adds to this sort of logic puzzle that keeps building. Sure, each book has its own puzzles and dilemmas, but something big is building. With each book you learn more about the Czarion and Chatton. So, not only are you sucked in by the book itself, but you have the mystery building throughout the series pulling you into the book as well. Getting more information about the other Slye Temp members really adds to the story as well. I, personally, can't wait to learn more about Gage after reading the following.
"Nothing about that face was magazine worthy, but put him in a room full of alphas and his sheer force of presence would mark him as the top of the pack."
Dianna Love is doing a fantastic job of weaving everything together! I don't know how she does it, but it is amazing! If you are looking for something full of excitement and secret missions, this book is for you!
After reading these three, I must say I'm going through withdrawl waiting for the next one to be published! I miss Ryder. But most of all, I miss the suspense and constant twists and turns and not being able to figure out who the bad guys are. Just when you think you've got it figured out, nope, not that one. There are lots of players but Ms. Love sets it up where there is no confusion and she has you wanting more. I couldn't put this one down and the only consolation to finishing it was that I finally got some sleep.
Honeymoon to Die For is the second book in the Slye Temp series and is Ryder and Bianca's story. Fast paced, sexy and full of action, this is a well written and really enjoyable romantic suspense. It can be read as a standalone, but with the interconnecting characters, I would recommend reading book one first.
Ryder is former sniper in the Special Forces. He left and now works for a security company. But months ago he was accused of murder and is in prison. He believes someone at his family's weapons company set him up. The FBI comes in to make a deal...help prove his adopted father is selling guns to terrorists and they'll take years off his sentence. The only way to get someone into the company is for her to be Ryder's wife. Bianca is an analyst with the FBI and did all the research on Ryder for the hearing. It was her testimony that helped put him away. Ryder suggests Bianca be his bride since she knows computers and is not a field agent. Once Bianca figures out Ryder is innocent, she'll stop at nothing to keep him out of prison. Working together brings them closer but someone is trying to scare Bianca and hoping to blame it on Ryder. They find out an attack is imminent and they hope to stop it before hundreds are killed.
Great story with action, suspense, and sex. Poor Ryder comes from a very dysfunctional family. Bianca, I think, got a little to upset when she finds out Ryder kept secrets from her, when she did the same thing. A page turner from the very beginning. I did get confused a couple of times by all the side characters.
I sacrificed sleep to finish reading this book. That should tell you how good it was.
I loved both main characters, Ryder and Bianca. Ryder is such a good and honorable man like Bianca thought. Although he was wronged so badly, he didn't turn into a mega asshole. Bianca, on the other hand, surprised me. I thought she'd be the meek, too-nice type of main character who'd let people walk all over her but she was actually feisty and levelheaded.
I must admit I did not pay too much attention to the suspense plot. As much as I love this genre in movies (as an action/suspense movie girl), I get bored trying to follow everything in books. When I read, I like to use as little brain power as possible and let the story just carry me away. Another thing is there were too many characters highlighted in this book and too many POVs shown. I get that it's part of a series, but I'd rather the POVs stay just from the main characters/couple in that specific book.
For me, this is one good reason for a fake marriage - an undercover ops. And I truly liked how the characters fell in love. But thinking about it, the POV thing is not something I can tolerate right now, so I probably won't be reading any other books in the series.
I voluntarily reviewed a copy of "HONEYMOON TO DIE FOR". This the second book in Skye Temp Series an action thriller you definitely don't want to miss getting your hooked from beginning to end. Ryder Van Dyke is convicted of murder he was former Skye Temp Agent his life is a mess he'll take his chances to focus on clearing his name without the help of FBI. Bianca Brady an FBI Analyst spent 2yrs. working to substantiate the head of Van Dyke Enterprises is guilty of supplying weapons to terrorists she just need's proof wanting justice for her BF being killed by a terrorist. Ryder the lady person he wants to trust is Bianca after she made he went to prison but the accepts the FBI offer but the only way inside his father's high security compound Bianca has to become his legal wife. I definitely recommend to get this intense thrilling story following Ryder & Bianca navigate a mindfield of deadly secrets, threats to national security, a killer with a vendetta, stay alive until they get the truth this is one story you don't want miss getting.
This was the 4th Sly Temp story I've read and, truth be told, I think it's the best. Convicted murderer Ryder Van Dyke is one of those hot, take charge heroes with a messed up life, cautious of commitment and focused on clearing his name to the exclusion of anything else. You just KNOW the mission that requires he marry computer analyst Bianca Brady is going to end up being a whole lot more complicated than anybody expected, and it was, with bullets lying, kidnappers, terrorist plots, family drama and plenty of steamy romance. This is a series, so there are a few loose ends, but no cliffhangers and I it stands well enough on it's own I don't think it would matter a whole lot whether you read it as a stand alone ... although, why would you want to deprive yourself of the excitement of reading the whole series.
This is the third in the Slye Temp series that I won in audiobook. Dianna Love has a gift, weaving a complex story of suspense, drama and hot romance with characters that I quickly connect to. The story has unforeseen twists and well concealed bad guys. It is definitely better to read the series in order as there is an underlying plot that is developing in the background which I guess will be revealed in full in later books, however each book has its own story. I really enjoy meeting the characters and then really getting to know them when they have their own book and story. Looking forward to continuing my journey with the Slye Temp Team.
I have submitted this review after listening to the audiobook of this title within the series set box. (Audible Membership)
Ryder had been arrested in the last episode for the death of an arms manufacturer, whom he had visited, on behalf of his brother and father, trying to bring both groups back to the negotiating table. He had left and ended up with a flat tyre, with no spare or phone connection, in the area called alligator alley. Now, we start this episode with Ryder caught up in an exercise yard brawl in the prison. Of course, he's being set up and being used by all sorts of people. It's his turn to spread the emotional torment!
This will melt the headphones off your ears and leave you begging for more. I loved this book, and I can't wait to buy the rest of the series. I recommend this to anyone who enjoys some steamy romance. This will not disappoint. The characters are all fully developed and well written. The plot is suspense driven and will keep you hanging on every word trying to figure out what is coming next. Enjoy!
"I was given this free review copy book at my request and have voluntarily left this review."
While reading the paranormal of her novels I had to also read this one from another series that I have delighted in but barely started. This one with Ryder being framed for murder. He does get a deal to the FBI but you know that will not be all he plans to do. Then there is Bianca also involved with the FBI but she has here own plans too. The tension at times will be more that we can handle at times but the intrigue is real. We know what will want but how this really happens is only found with turning the pages.
Ryan Van Dyke was framed for a murder and faces a death sentence until he is approached to go after his billionaire father, whom the FBI believes is involved with selling weapons to terrorists...in order to infiltrate his father's stronghold, he gets married to Bianca, the FBI analyst who believes he was guilty of murder...you will have to read this thrilling suspense story with a hint of insta-love to see what happens...can be read alone, but a lot of references to characters in previous book. I voluntarily read this book through an Advanced Reader Copy.
Bianca is one quirky lady: she talks to her dead friend, has mad computer skills (her words) and is very focused. Ryder is in prison after being set up for a murder he did not commit, then being set up again! They marry to allow her to get close to his family. But as in any good story and family nothing is simple. Read this story and find out about betrayal, doubt, passion and the ultimate Hea.
Ryder (ex special forces sniper) is in prison for murder. bianca is an FBI analyst who comes up with the evidence to put him there. They get married to infiltrate Ryder’s dad’s company. Fast-paced action and romance. Ryder is a great guy. Didnt get the warm fuzzies about her. But i liked the writing style, the plot and the romance.
This book grabbed me from the very beginning and did not let go until I had finished the last page. Fast paced, full of suspense, sexy times, and a story and characters that grab your attention.
I would recommend it to other readers.
I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
OMG Dianna Love never disappoints! I was hooked from the first five paragraphs. Bianca is so relatable as a super smart but self esteem deficient woman. Ryder is sure of himself with a really dysfunctional family background. The back and forth between the two is really easy to imagine as a real life couple. The ending is as satisfying as the rest of the book. Love, love, loved it!!!!!
What an enjoyable book to read. It was written in a manner that helped the reader understand the characters and the plot was adventurous but unpredictable. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and would recommend it to anyone who likes action, adventure, intriguing, and love. I look forward to reading more books by this author.
I liked this book better than the first book in the series. I thought that the forbidden romance was sexier, and that the suspense was better. I enjoyed both books, but this one had me more captivated.
Ryder & Bianca is story is explosive, steamy & to die for! Sure didn't see the person who was behind it all till it was revealed! Loved the ending and every thing leading up to it!
This book series is so addictive. You will find so much going on. Espionage Black Ops FBI CIA Government moles Love Dysfunctional family Jealousy Secret Societies Adventure Drama Just to name a few, but once you start reading you cannot put it down until you discover the truth.
It took me a while to finish this exciting book. It does close one case, but leaves some cases unsolved. It was a little confusing to have so many side characters. I would like to read the first book in series to better understand all the various agencies.
I thought I'd read Dianna Love's entire Slye Team series but picked up books 2 and 8 when I found I'd missed them. REALLY liked Honeymoon to Die For and am about to start Wrecked (book 8). VERY good series. No spoilers -- read it for yourself :)
This was a fast moving story about finding a murderer and learning to trust! It was a bit "wordy" and repetitive so I skipped over a few pages! The ending was predictable! Having said that, I did enjoy the read.
Ryder is in prison for a crime he didn’t commit. If he helps the FBI he can get out. He needs to pretend to be married to get the agent in to his father’s compound. Will they get out
