Watsuki Nobuhiro (和月伸宏) is a Japanese manga artist, best known for his samurai-themed series Rurouni Kenshin. He once worked as an assistant for his favorite author Takeshi Obata.
I just seen this is supposedly the same creator of the legandary Rorouni Kenshi... And was surprised because this manga was unfortunately the opposite of that series.. pretty good art but bad story:/😔👌💕💕
Watsuki, what happened? What happened to the guy who created Rurouni Kenshin, one of the greatest mangas I ever set my eyes on? I'll tell you what I suspect happened; audience pleasing. You created a story which you thought your audience would want more, rather than creating your story. I understand, as a manga artist, you have to rely on popularity, I get that. But Kenshin was popular BECAUSE it was your own unique story. Instead, you seemed to regret Kenshin as a mistake.
For instance, there's the regret of making Kenshin a 28 year old man and thought the protagonist of Gun Blaze West a young boy. The problem? Viu is every shonen protagonist who ever existed. Nothing stands out about him, in design or in personality. The story is ho-hum. The art is not horrible, but took a step down. There is some cool stuff, but it's just kind of a nothing story. It tried too hard to please everybody, but wound up pleasing nobody.
Gambarnya tentu saja sangat oke! (^,^)b Sayang aku kurang klik sama ceritanya ""(;^^) Suka sih dengan latar belakang "daerah barat yang liar" tapi justru ini kurang liar dan...kurang barat? (^w^) Hahaha~ mungkin perasaanku aja~
I liked that the book teaches me how to do stuff with knowledge. I also like that main character is really annoying because he annoys the other guy. I also like the part where the guy with the nooses comes in and defeats the main character and a guy with a shotgun.
This book was his earlier work. Parts of that show as the book moves at a lot slower pace then say Rurouni Kenshin. This book in the end has me waiting for the next volume.
