I haven't really read this. Or not all of it. I give up. It seems to me to possibly be so rich in cultural references that I cannot keep up. Yes, there are copious notes explaining the references, but I still don't feel like I am entering into the full texture of the poem. It's me, not the poetry. Still, I give up.
