I love this film! And the script is just as amazing!

Even though this is almost word-for-word, play-by-play of what we see on screen, there are a few alterations/additions in the script that will delight fans. Even though I've seen the movie several times and know exactly what happens, the script still captivated and held my interest and moved along at a great pace.

I've read a few screenplays and this is, for me, by far the most well-written. A wonderful blend of dialogue, characterization, and action, this script feels like a complete story, not just a sparse, dry outline.

And for aspiring screenwriters, this script feels like an amazing example of "what to do" -- how to format, how to use description, how to write action sequences, etc.

Loved it!

This was my first screenplay and really cool to read! I admit I read it to cry over Bucky and I was not disappointed. There were a few alternative lines and key scenes that were altered and it was really interesting to see how the final result came out.
I stand by Stucky being soulmates though. “All I had to do was hold him” IM WRECKED 😭😭

This script was the backbone, the blueprint for the first of the Avengers movies. It's a solid reference point for screenwriters in terms of formatting. The book also has storyboards for one action scene.

I absolutely loved this. Screenplay books are my thing.
I definitely noticed a few changes from book to play and even a deleted scene was added in the book.
I love Captain America, he's always been one of my favorite heroes. <3

This is my favorite Marvel film so I’ve been wanting to read the screenplay for a while. It was interesting to see what was different from the released film and deleted scenes, such as the Howling Commandos being called a different name. A couple of scenes were more fleshed out.

I liked some scenes better in this draft than in the final movie: Bucky's death. Others, like the final one, were definitely better in the final version. See, kids? First drafts suck, you make them better as you revise and rewrite.

Just the movie script, which was nice to physically see but I miss the action. I mostly just wanted this as a quick refresher before I dive into other Captain America comic series.
