This book focuses on the most important star – the Sun! Students are often curious about exceptional things. Why not impressing them about the Sun? I liked this book because it describes the Sun and offers rich information that may develop more the curiosity to learn new things about the Sun! The book is very attractive with its colorful illustrations. I would use this book in my science class, or maybe when the students will experiment a very sunny day at the reassess time, so I can bring this personal experience as a hook to read the book, and learn about the SUN!

This is a great book on everything a student would want to know about the sun! The book goes over the suns orbit, spin, energetic layers, the solar cycle, and how the planets orbit the sun. The illustrations are realistic and very colorful! I would use this book to teach students about the suns orbit as it pertain to the earth. I will hold a small activity where the students and I will chart our shadows at different times of the day to see how the earth orbits the sun.
