This story is based upon the real life and adventures of Elizabeth Whitney Williams, a woman that resided in The Little Traverse Light- a red brick lighthouse that still sits on Lake Michigan's Little Traverse Bay.

The story is interesting, sweetly told, and I like all the little details...the recipes, the maps, all of it.
This art style is NOT my jam. If it's yours, this is an absolutely lovely book.
