Wow! I just loved this book! Born and raised in Oklahoma, this book felt so good, touching my heart. It made me laugh, cry, and want to mount up and ride hell for leather with the characters in the book. There are authors that make me feel like I am there in the setting but, Ms. Shannon's writing and story just got under my skin and felt so comfortable. Shae Shannon my not have been born and raised in Oklahoma but, she is definitely an "Okie" at heart. I am going to add "Her Knights in Black Stetsons" to my favorites list on my Nook and I can't wait to add more stories from this amazing author!!!

The story line was good. My issues with this book are 1.Way too much cursing, the use of swear words can strengthen a scene or destroy it depending on whether it was called for. The characters seem to constantly be swearing and it took away from the story. 2. What happens directly and the following couple days after waking up in the hospital is completey unrealistic. I had to stop reading at that point. Take away those two things and it would have been a great.

Oh my, I haven't read a book this bad in a long time. This story was over the top unrealistic and I had to laugh at all the unusual words and phrases to describe body parts and sex acts. That alone kept me reading and laughing. Quite an education for me and kept me from giving this 1 star. lol

It dragged... story was good, Just way to detail oriented. which was sad.. Cuz like I said.. the story was good when it moved.

Excellent story with tortured heroine and a great family who loves her like a daughter and not so much a sister....loved it for all aspects. Just wish author would write more like this.
