This was unlike anything I've ever read before. I'm so glad I took the chance! The title gave me an impression of a sorority girl having to relinquish her body to the base and lewd demands of some run of the mill, cookie cutter frat boy types...not attractive, but could be an entertaining read. I've also been reading books containing elemeants of BDSM...spanking keeps making an appearance...and I was always so ambivalent about the genre My reactions varied from intrigued, put off, confused, turned on, very turned off, a little disgusted an offended, enraptured, and, quite frankly, a little bored. The whole explosion of the genre, which seems to have taken hold everywhere I look since the release of 50 Shades, was starting to feel like a popular song that has gotten old, yet keeps playing relentlessly on my favorite station...
This is the first book which a switch clicked in my head and I experienced an "AHA!" moment. It's all in the telling of the story. The author decided to show the subjective experience of two young people crossing over from forbidden fantasy to physical reality, which left a huge impact on their sexual identity. I was taken along on the journey and finally understood the profound intensity of the experience.
The only thing keeping the book from a 5 star review for me was the inclusion of nasty old men watching for the 1st half of the book. Um...not hot.

Well toss my panties aside and spank my behind red! I was very pleasantly surprised with this first book in the series. It gets 5 stars on the spanking and erotic index, but a strong 4 stars overall. When I read the synopsis I almost didn't download the book. I mean really? A college sorority pledge gets caught egging a house on Halloween during her initiation. She is chased down and caught by a guy wearing an ape suit. Of course the girl is in a skimpy costume and heels. The ape brings her back to the mansion she just egged and then is turned over to the owner of the house. She is then given an ultimatum ...get turned into the police or get punished by the owner's son who is also college aged. She opts to be punished rather than face the police and so the fun and humiliation begins. Wow, just wow! This could be the best spanking scene I have ever read. I think even a non-spanko would get turned on by the slow erotic dance that occurs between the H/h. It really is sizzling and worth picking up the book just for this scene alone. BTW, the first book is free on Amazon. The first book may have just hooked me into the series and I am not one to enjoy buying shorter books that probably should be combined into 3 books tops. Oh well, this is good smut with a story of sorts.

Addison is a virgin sorority pledge who gets caught throwing eggs at a rich man's home. She's given the choice of Logan, the son of the owner, calling the police or taking her punishment over his knee. If they call the police she could get kicked out of college, so she opts for going over his knee. What she didn't know was that he would do it in front of his dad and his poker playing buddies. But she's too afraid of the consequences. So what is meant as punishment actually ends up being a very erotic experience for her. Lots of spanking in this story and you hear how Addison is feeling about it the whole way,which makes for a very sexy read.
18+ obviously due to sexual situations. If you don't like the idea of being spanked or even have that fantasy, then don't pick this up. This is well written and exciting if you like this type of book.

This book was utterly amazing and sexy as all hell Ms. Draper had me all hot and bothered with the amazing detail that went in to putting these two wonderful characters together. I cant wait to read the second book in this story to see Logan and Addison get together they are meant to be and I truly hope it happens. If you haven't read this book you must it is supremely sexy and deserves more than the 5 stars we are allowed to give books!

Gritty and Gratuitous
I expected something silly, something frothy. And parts of it are, but then it dives deep, beyond a sexy spanking into punishment, voyeurism, and a person's deepest needs. The sorority plotline creates an interesting conflict. Would read the next books in the series of they were in KU, but I don't want to pay $3 a pop for stuff I'll only read once.

Even though this book is New Adult Fiction, it doesn’t come across that way. There’s enough sex and spanking to really hold your attention and make you wet.

Reivew: I just don’t know what is up with me and picking College stories. I guess I’m trying something new.
This one made me happy I was not into a College Frat House. I did some dum things when I was young, but I did them for me and me alone. I never have been a person to do something like ‘throw eggs at a house’ just because someone told me to. When someone asked me to do something I always asked why. Why does people do things and not ask why? Addison should have asked why.
Addison is the main character in this book and I believe she should have asked why and picked another Frat House to be apart of, but then this book would not been written. Right?
Addison is a great character to feel sorry for and want to save from the mean Frat House mother. Just as the Frat House mother is a character you love to hate.
The only spoiler I’m saying on this one, is there is no happy ending. You have to see if it happens in Book 2.
Talking about characters, I really love Logan. He is a mystery and I love mystery men. They get you tongue tied and your mind on overload to find out why they are a mystery to you. What secrets do they hide? I so can not wait for Book 2. Here is a great quote or two....
Quote one: My favorite half line....I can not have the rest of it due to its content, but it is worth seeking out.
“After two minutes or so, I found myself on a wild rollercoaster ride, all loopy, reckless,”
Quote two: Here is a better quote.
“To bow like that is entirely gutsy, sexy, strong and beautiful. I wanted to be like that. And I needed and craved a hammer to break through my walls and defenses and some glue to fix any real brokenness that might be unearthed. I did not need a shredded back or needles shoved up my toenails. I know what I need, and Logan does too. He’s my hammer and glue. And I don’t care what I have to do, I will make him see that. I don’t even care what the fem-Nazis on campus have to say about that either! It is much weaker to not admit what you need than to live a lie and pretend like you’re strong and ...”

This review is for Sorority Pledge Saga 1: A Devil in Disguise by Daizie Draper. I recieved this book and the next two in the Sorority Pledge Saga from the author for free through LibraryThing.com's August 2013 Member Giveaways batch.
The author warned us in the description for the giveaway that there were a lot of offensive words such as the P word and the C word, and she wasn't lying. I thought they would be used sparingly, but no. Those two specific words are obnoxious and no not need to be used that often, seriously. If I hadn't have had to read this for LibraryThing, I wouldn't have finished reading this.
This is the first fully BDSM-based book I have ever read, so a lot of the terminology was lost on me.
These people are 19 year old virgins and I'm supposed to believe that they know more about BDSM and sex in general than most experienced adults. Yeah, I don't buy it.
I really liked the Mr. Burns Simpsons reference and the trashy eBooks reference. Clever.
I don't understand why a woman would willingly be pushed around by her lover. Role playing maybe, but not as a lifestyle. I just don't understand the need for a dom/sub relationship.
This book is relatively short. It doesn't take long to read, if you're looking for something short and you're into BDSM.
Are there seriously BDSM clubs on college campuses? I've never even heard of those.

Alright, I got this book from a Library thing giveaway. This is a short fast read. This is BDSM book, and pretty interesting if you are into the spanking.

What a fun book. I received this in exchange for a honest review. A down and dirty story of kink and spanking. Fun, fun, fun. Not much depth to the characters but who cares it was quick and fun just like the story line. I would recommend to anyone looking for a quick but hot story.

Although this book is pretty short it is also very entertaining. It is about a girl who is sent on a pledge mission for a sorority. During the stunt she is caught and is punished for her actions.

It was interesting read overall and I'm quite late at reviewing it. I found that the story didn't quite flow in the first book. It establishes the main characters well though. This is Part1 of the story...don't expect a full book.

In Sorority Pledge 1: A Devil in Disguise, Addison and Logan discover each other and their mutual lust for spanking kinkery. I generally don't like public humiliation, but Addison was so turned on by what was happening that she took me along for the ride.

In a word HOT! I was a little worried when I read the opening scene when she was chased through the woods by a gorilla, but soon everything started to heat up, with the introduction of Logan.
