Surrender My Heart

Rate this book
This is a companion novelette to Fall into my Heart. If you have not read Fall into my Heart, please do so before reading this.

In Fall into my Heart, we were introduced to Chloe and Jack, whose relationship was cut short when Chloe's Ex-fiance, Connor, told Jack they were still engaged and Jack ended things with no questions asked.

Jack seemed to stay relatively quiet throughout the breakup, but things aren't always as they seem. Jack is ready to tell his side of the story and share insights as to where his head was and why he did the things he did.

This was much better and cohesive a read than the first. It still felt slightly rushed and in the voice of a teenager and a young adult book, but there was far more substance to the story. This one also seemed to be edited very well as I had none of the complaints that I did with the first book (your and you're confusions, etc). This was definitely a move in the right direction and I enjoyed the other voice of the story. Looking forward to more stories from the author.

this was much better than the first book. It did bring everything tougher and filled in a lot of holes

Do if you didn't read "Fall into my heart" reading this story would make sense.
This short but great story gives us Jack's story after the heartbreaking break up between him and Chloe. Right from the run in he has with Connor to his heart bring ripped apart. I could not help but feel sorry for Chloe during this because Jack was to pathetic to face her, but in saying that we were fortunate to find out what had jack so up in knots with the past love in his life. Because I knew what would happen I could enjoy the story and fall just a little bit more in love with Jack.
Oh and p.s. I LOVE the character of Jocelyn, she is funny and loud and a pleasant other character for this series.

This is a companion novelette to Fall into my Heart.

Chloe and Jack's relationship ended when Chloe's ex-fiance informed Jack he came to see his fiance. Jack avoided Chloe for a week before he ran into her and he ended their new relationship.

This is Jack's side of the missing weeks up to where Chloe and him are reunited.....we see the reason he ended it, his trust issues and what he wants now.

I'm a huge fan of Jake!!!! But seriously the author could have started the book by when he bumps into Chloe! She could have put more thought into it...I found there was nothing deep about this book. Jake was such a passionate guy in book 1 I found book 2 was rushed!

Now if Jacks POV had been incorporated into the first book then it would have been a better read. I dont think his POV needed its own novella but ...... it was good anyway.

It was okay. You could have put these pages into the first book to make it more complete. As a novella it was just okay.

I love a good male POV and this was it. **SPOILER** Favorite part of the book was the aha moment Jack has when he realizes what a jerk he has been.

Very very short. And I Didn't read book one, but could follow along well enough. Not bad but it didn't inspire me to pick up book 1 either.

I didn't see the point in reading this. I got it for free with the first book. I thought the first book finished fine without the added view point.

Cute!

I liked reading Jack's point of view. Even though we knew he was heartbroken, I liked reading his words. It just makes you love Jack a little bit more!

Tiny little novella just 38 pages telling Jack's story from Fall Into My Heart. I kind of enjoyed reading Jack's condensed version of the story.

Was really great to get Jack's POV about the breakup. In the first book you weren't told what all Conner had said. This one fills in the blanks
