About the author

Lee Patrick Strobel is an American Christian author and a former investigative journalist. He has written several books, including four that received ECPA Christian Book Awards (1994, 1999, 2001, 2005)[2] and a series which addresses challenges to the veracity of Christianity. He also hosted a television program called Faith Under Fire on PAX TV and runs a video apologetics web site.

The author of this book was an atheist who set out to prove Christianity wrong. In the process, he became a follower of Christ! Why? The evidence supporting Christianity was so substantial, that there was no way he could prove it wrong. This book answers a LOT of questions that even adults have when they start to doubt there faith, or if they don't believe in the bible because of these unanswered questions (there is an Adult version). This is an amazing book!

Read this aloud to the kids. The kids enjoyed it, but I felt it left something to be desired. They did answer the questions, though, and it made them think through stuff.

I picked this up thinking there would be activities in the "curriculum" version. It is exactly the same as the green cover The Case for Christ for Kids with a couples extra scenarios at the end illustrating how belief in Jesus changes a person's behavior. No actual curriculum. :(

We really enjoyed reading through this book with our kids (regular book, not the curriculum version). The language is very easy to read and understand. It prompted thought provoking discussion in our family. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that we did not like the stories/anecdotes at the end. They didn’t necessarily fit with the rest of the book in our opinion.

We read this aloud in our "morning time" and it gave great food for thought and I think normalized being able to question scripture in a healthy way. I hope my kids realized they can ask questions of scripture and that isn't a negative thing or that they'll be shot down if they do. Instead, we will explore their questions.

This was written clearly and concisely. Much of what was in Strobel’s original “The Case for Christ” but brought down from a less academic and adult perspective to one that kids will more easily understand. Although I believe adults can still get a lot out of this kids version especially if they go through it with their kids.

Alot of uplifting and truthful sayings in this book.
Definitely recommend it if you're struggling to really believe that God was dead and now is risen again.

This was a helpful read with my almost 9 year old. It cleared up some things for her, and helped me grow in apologetics a bit.
