This was a really great series that I literally could not put down. The ecchi mangas draw you in with their lurid subject matter, but they always seem to pull the rug out from under you and end up delivering great drama and emotional stories.

Whilst appearing as an… inappropriate manga at a glance, Honna does write a pretty enthralling romance and drama manga with a few comedic glances here and there, that is well thought out and suspenseful at times. With a very unusual premise taking place, I felt that every encounter that the protagonist, Kido, finds himself in serves as a deeper metaphor or symbolism than would be expected when read at surface level. Everything leads him to return to his initial emotions that he refuses to believe for two entire years simply because of the grounds which Emiru and he met. It was bizarre how much a friendship/relationship could develop through a simple set of rules, but it was a really fun read to see how none of his partners could ever measure up to the sheer intensity and radiance that Emiru had brought him in unsuspecting and unintentionally intimate circumstances. The only gripe I had would be the narrative at times, where it felt more like it was written on the spot rather than well thought out previously, making some plot points seem impulsively thought out, which was on my mind throughout Emiru’s backstory.
There is quite a profound theme of appearing as your true self unto another person, and I thought it was quite the allegory for love seeing it was heavily emphasised throughout the story. Being true to yourself and others so as to accept the entirety of their love and hurt that comes with it.

Endlich haben sich Emiru und Tatsuhiko gefunden und können sich ohne eine Wand zwischen sich in den Armen liegen.
Eine ganze Nacht lang scheint die Welt in Ordnung zu sein. Doch dann kommt der Tag der Abschlussfeier. Ein Tag an dem sich vieles ändert.
Bewertung:
Die gemeinsame Nacht von Emiru und Tatsuhiko ist wirklich sehr schön beschrieben. Beide können endlich sie selbst sein und das wird wunderschön dargestellt.
Die Zeichnungen kann ich nur wieder loben. Sie sind sehr passend und verdeutlichen die Geschichte sehr gut.
Der Abschluss der Geschichte ging mir wirklich ans Herz und hat mir sehr gut gefallen.
Allgemein finde ich die Reihe sehr besonders und auch der letzte Band macht da keine Ausnahme. Trotz Erotik-Genre eine wunderbar tiefgründige Geschichte und nicht nur oberflächliche Sexszenen.

Es fällt mir schwer nur den einen Band einzeln zu bewerten. Dennoch versuche ich es. Wir haben hier natürlich den Abschluss der Reihe, somit auch am Ende einen Zeitsprung. Das bin ich mittlerweile von so vielen Büchern und auch Manga gewohnt, das ist gut und auch ok.
Der Fokus lag in diesem Band nicht ganz so sehr auf dem Akt sondern auch wieder auf der Story.
An sich war es ein gutes Ende. Schade fand ich aber das weiterhin die Zeichnungen nicht alle wirklich schön waren (seltsame Stellungen von Händen etc.) außerdem kann ich nach wie vor nicht wirklich die Handlungen nachvollziehen. Auch wenn der Blick in die Vergangenheit (vorangegangen) hierbei etwas hilft, finde ich es schade so gar nicht mit den Charakteren warm geworden zu sein.

Honestly should have just ended it at volume 12. This one doesn't really offer much apart from the sex scene and additional melodrama which was not necessary at this point. Also call me a sowflake, I don't care but what was the point of showing the character who was introduced as a lesbian to have ended up paired with the loser guy and pregnant???? It literally came out of nowhere and there was no point to it. It's sickening. Other than that awful detail, the volume was just unnecessary.

Che volume inutile!
Si perde nei minimi dettagli per raccontare la prima notte insieme di Kido ed Emiru e poi... puff, lei ne combina un'altra delle sue e tocca aspettare ancora un po' per arrivare alla fine.
A parte questo ultimo volume, la serie mi è piaciuta. Non pensavo che l'avrei letta volentieri quando l'ho abbandonato la prima volta.
Va beh, adesso potrei dedicarmi a Nana & Kaoru, giusto per mantenere la tematica. :-)

Für einen Erotik Manga mochte ich die Reihe sehr gerne. Die Story war spannend und Tatsuhiko als Protagonist echt klasse. Trotz der vielen Ecchi anteile hat er die Frauen immer sehr respektvoll behandelt und wurde nie übergriffig. Generell fand ich, dass hier alle Charaktere als Mensch gesehen wurden und nicht auf irgendwelche körperteile reduziert wurden sind. Kann die Reihe echt nur empfehlen!

Honestly, at times this series really reaches into your soul, and your pants, and makes you feel things no hentai should ever never make you feel.

Actually finished this series 1 year ago, I just forgot to add it in my shelf.
Don't let my rating discourage you to read this. It has an okay plot and fresh idea. To sum it up, it's about peeping, peep hole, and peeping tom. It just that anything about peeping isn't my thing, so I'm not the right audience for this series, hence the 2 stars. I'm somewhat surprised with myself that I didn't give up on this one... maybe I was secretly wishing that I'd like it in the end.
Anyway, if you're a guy/girl who love ecchi and hentai with actual plot, you might like this one.

posso ammettere che questa e' stata una serie di manga tra le mie preferite! bellissimo e molto interessante. il finale e' perfetto anche dopo cosi' tanta confusione !
