Brandon Westbrook was a philandering player turned advertising executive. Can Missy Duncan handle New York's favorite bachelor?
Missy has lived through her share of pain. Her unstable upbringing and tremendous amount of loss should have crippled her. Instead she has put herself through college and now is the lead designer for Westbrook Advertising. Her world is turned inside out when the new CEO moves into the office and into her life.
Brandon Westbrook's charm has never let him down in getting what he wants, but will it be enough to get her?
For such a short book it tries to pack too much in, the timeline for a start, it just isn't believable, add to that the twist and turns and it's even more unlikely.
It's cheesy, and some of the dialogue just doesn't scan properly making it seem false, people don't really speak every word in full, they use shortened words like it's rather than it is.
It's not chick lit as there's no humour, it's not erotic, even though there's sex a plenty, it just doesn't come across as believable.
It's an easy hour long read if that's all you're looking for.
