I did not finish reading this book because I had no desire too. The flow was choppy. I didn't feel the emotional connection between the characters. Vicki came off as a desperate weak girl unable to say no to a man that is damaging to her self-esteem. Tristan is an inconsiderate asshole. I was not rooting for these characters to have a happily ever after, so I stopped reading before that happened.
Sam Crescent has such wonderful book ideas. Every synopsis I have ever read from her has sounded so intriguing, but the deliveries are lacking.

I had to read this book after I read the second one. I wanted to know what happened next.
Vicki loved Tristan and gave herself to him willingly. The only thing she didn't know was that he was married. She never planned on him finding out that she was pregnant. All that changes when she was shot and lost the baby. In this book we see how she loves Tristan but she has really just let herself go from the lose of the baby.
Tristan knows he loves Vicki but doesn't know what to do until he finds out that she is leaving. He will stop at nothing to have her in his life. Even if that means seeing his wife and getting the divorce that he said he never wanted.
I can never get enough of this author. Every book she writes is better than the last. There's so many different books and series. I wonder if this is the last one in this series? I believe there is more left to know. So off I go to read more.

Loved it
As always the writing was fantastic and the story just flowed.. It was hot, sexy sweet and sad ...my only problem with the whole book is , he took her cherry on the kitchen counter and then just left her there , he never had sex with her with all their cloths off and he pushed her away time and time again, the worst was he was married and never told her ... It didn't matter that he was separated. When she told him she loved him he said . when he finally found out she was leaving town he went to her and told her everything , she agreed to have lunch with him in the office , and who's in the with him but the wife with he dress around her butt with him looking at her over the desk .. So he explained everything leaves town for 5 months and she just forgives like nothing .. Wth .. She was a better person then me , but she loved him and apparently he loved her and they got their HEA ..

I am loving this series! Tristan has some secrets from his past that he needed to work through. He loved Vicki but pushed her away because he thought she was too young. After Vicki lost their baby, Tristan was devastated. Tristan had to work to get Vicki to talk to him and Vicki had to learn to trust Tristan that he wouldn't lie to her. I really enjoyed this book!!
