Jessa Malone has endured five years of abuse from the one person she thought she could trust. But when an accident lands her in an unfamiliar home with two very large and intimidating men, she doesn't know if she has inadvertently been thrust back in the violence she has been trying to run from.
Two snow leopard-shifting brothers have finally found their mate in the same woman...
Deacon and Thayer Uncia have lived in isolation for years, trying to control their inner animals. When Jessa agrees to stay with them until she can get back on her feet, the brothers vow to convince her that she belongs with them. They know she wants them as much as they want her, and they have no intention of letting her go, especially when she is theirs and they have already claimed her.
I'm not even going to put any rating... what made me dnf was that one of the guys Deacon was told by his brother Thayer to go fuck another woman because there mate is unconscious.. and he might scare her. So what does he do he does its off page.. but still nope I skimmed the rest they do run into the ex he screwed she knows it's an ex from the glare but she never ask when they stop fking.
So yeah I'm out I want my mates to be my mates only.
Want to know the worst way to start any kind of romance but especially ones with mates? Have one of the male mates suggest to the other that now that they met their future mate and she’s unconscious that he should go into town and screw another woman to blow off steam before she wakes up. I wanted to puke when I read that once I realized it wasn’t a joke. I usually live this author because the loyalty of mates respected but it’s completely crapped on in this. I don’t know if he goes through with it but even the suggestion has ruined this book. Once you smell or see a mate, no other can do it. And it was such a gross suggestion. Go in your room and handle business. To suggest another woman is wrong. And it WILL be cheating if it happens. Either way, the romance is trashed because when he’s finally intimate with her, everybody will be thinking about that other woman he went and screwed or was going to screw just a day or two before that. This left a nasty taste in my mouth.
I’m gonna be sick. I read a few more pages. He went and screwed another woman in town then came home and jacked off to the thought of his mate. There’s no bigger dishonor to mates than this. To screw another woman after having the connection you do with a mate. He shouldn’t have even been able to have been aroused by another. Touching another caused feelings of revolt after meeting your mate. Man this is some nasty stuff. Deacon says all these dirty things when he screws his mate two days later and I just know he said those things to the random hookup he had while she was unconscious. I mean come on! She doesn’t even know he just screwed another woman and practically still has that woman’s scent on him! It’s disgusting! Her ex used to cheat and deacon is no better. He’s a sad excuse for a mate. After this disgrace to mating, this is no longer one of my top fav paranormal authors. Not even on the list anymore. These are the types of paranormal romance I warn people away from. What a disgrace. I’m so disappointed. It’s such a relief finding a author that understands mates and respects them. And then this one goes and has the male mate screw a random woman while his mate is recuperating from a car accident. I’m so freakin upset and grossed out.
Deacon left her the first night to go have s*x with another woman in order to let go of some tension. Sorry, that does not in anyway say romance. It says this is a weak man and not an alpha.

Claiming What’s Theirs is my first paranormal read by Jenika Snow.
After five years of abuse Jessa Malone has found a way out and is on the run from her horrible husband. She has finally managed to escape him but finds herself in a new predicament when she is in a car accident. Jessa awakes to find herself in a strange yet beautiful home with two very large and protective men. OH and did a mention they are freaking HOT!!!
Deacon and Thayer Uncia are two very gorgeous brothers and snow leopard shifters. They live a reclusive life in the mountains isolated from people, fighting to keep their inner animal under control. Now they must fight to keep the woman they’ve found and claim her as their mate.
“Then I guess we’ll just have to make her want to stay more then she wants to leave.”
The heat between Deacon, Jessa and Thayer is explosive, wild and just OMG sex-a-licious. If I had to pick between the two brothers I would jump willingly into the arms of Deacon with the hopes of him taking me to his work bench *wink, wink*. Both brothers have a dominant, sexual pull that just radiates off of them. Jessa finds herself needing both men with an intense desire she has never felt before, but she is confused and ashamed to feel the same for two men, especial after she has just escaped the abuse of her husband. Knowing in her heart she is safe with these adoring men can she do as they ask…
“We want you with us, Jessa. We want you to be with both of us, to be ours.”
I loved Deacon, Thayer and Jessa story; it was intense, HOT and suspenseful. It steamed up my kindle and added a serious zing to my Saturday reading list. Jenika did a beautiful job with this paranormal erotic romance and as always I can’t wait to read more.
Claiming what's their's is a cute little story about two lepard shapeshifters caring about a woman who's car broke down in the snowy mountains. Once she is brought to their place their most basic insticts of mating come forth and she finds herself between two very hansdome creautures. You can imagine the rest. The story was a bit too long for me, it could have ended way sooner but overall is was a pleasant read.
I really enjoyed this book. It is an erotic paranormal book. You have Deacon, the ultimate alpha bad-boy. His brother Thayer, the sweet soft-spoken one. And Jessa, their mate. Yes, their mate. Deacon and Thayer are snow leopard shifters. It is a very steamy read. Jessa is running from an abusive ex when she crashes into the brothers. There is a couple of of editing errors, but nothing that can't be over-looked.
It was a good solid read but it I struggled to finish it. This being a shifter story I was expecting more aggression, more "toucher or I kill you" type of thing. But it was mellow and slowish. Also, the fact that Deacon left her the first time they met to go to town to have sex with another woman didn't make it easy to me to like it. That's normally a Hell nope👎 for me. Aren't you supposed to know immediately when you came across your fated mate?

I couldn't wait to read this story, and Jenika had me hooked from the first page. She never disappoints, but she's outdone herself with this one. Scorching hot and so emotional in parts I wanted to jump into my e-reader and give all three of them a big hug. If you love your Shifter stories you simply *have* to read this!
Jessa was finally free. She no longer had to deal with the abuse. Her unfortunate accident was a blessing. She was rescued by two handsome men. Was it a wrong decision stay with Deacon and Thayer? And with her car severely damaged, she had no were to go. Deacon and Thayer knew this wasn’t a smart idea to take Jessa in but where was she to go. Their beasts wanted to mark her. They could tell that she was their mate. But how do address that to a human? Jessa’s ex was a jerk. He went from one extreme to the other with his abuse. And our two guys balanced out Jessa. Their love and kindness along with their passion was what they all needed. I actually didn’t think them being snow leopards was going to be a big deal. They can defend her and heck who wouldn’t want a snow leopard as their hottie.
Jessa has no particular destination in mind, just getting as far away as possible from Paul. All she kept seeing was Paul coming after her with the drunken look of rage in his eyes. He would have killed her tonight. That much she was certain of. She’d been with him for the past five years and he was the only man she had been with in every sense of the word, Paul Madden was an abusive, alcoholic who liked to use her as a punching bag.
She should have left him the first time he raised his hand to her. Hell, she should have kicked his ass to the curb when she found out he cheated on her with her so called best friend. But no, she had to be some kind of masochistic moron. With no family to fall back on, she was all on her own, but that was something she was looking forward to, especially after the life she had lived with Paul.
Paul had always said she was too thick for his liking, that she needed to portion out her servings and eat like a woman, not a grown man. For years she had swallowed his words and taken them to heart. When he hit her so hard her jaw became dislocated, and when he started bringing home random women, Jess finally saw what her life had become. She had finally had enough. Of course that had been five years too late, but hey, at least she had finally grown a spine and fought back.
Jessa started dating Paul when she turned seventeen. He was her first and only boyfriend, her high school sweetheart. He said all the right things, and was there for her when both of her parents died the summer she graduated. Her parents were all she had, and so after they died Paul became her only family.
The abuse started a year after that. First it started as insults and little jabs at my weight. It then escalated to the pushing and hitting. I was a fool for staying with him, but I didn’t have anyone else and feared being alone. He apologized every time, telling me it would never happen again, but of course it did.
“I told myself I wouldn’t stay another day, but then he would apologize, bring me flowers and chocolates, and grovel like his life depended on it. I was so dependent on him that I believed every lie. He brought home random women like I meant nothing. He knew I had no one, and he liked knowing I was dependent on him. For five years I let him do this to me. I let myself be his doormat. I decided to finally leave, but that night he had come home drunk and thought it would be a good time to use me as his personal punching bag.”
Eventually a spurned lover Rosie, leads Paul to her and Thayer and Deacon deal with him.
I received this book for free in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.
Claiming What’s Theirs by Jenika Snow gave me everything I have come to expect from her shifter stories – a sweet heroine, an alpha shifter, emotional moments, high drama and steamy sex. And since this time the hero turned out to be twin brothers, all that passion and drama was doubled.
My attention was grabbed from the very first dramatic moments as Jessa is on the run. She has finally escaped an abusive relationship that has haunted her for five years. Unfortunately, her car crashes knocking her unconscious. Deacon, a snow leopard shifter, comes across the accident and rescues Jessa. He brings her back to the cabin he shares with his twin brother Thayer. While Jessa is recuperating, the triad find themselves unable to resist the connection they are all feeling. The men recognize Jessa as their mate, but claiming her may be more difficult than they expected.
I really liked all three of the main characters because of their authenticity. Jessa had been through a lot of abuse but she finally found the courage to leave. I found a lot to admire about her strength and determination to have the life she deserved. The brothers, despite being twins, came across as individuals. While they had some similar personality traits, they were individuals and each had their own relationship with Jessa. It was easy to see why Jessa would fall in love with both men.
Ms. Snow really knows how to write sexy, steamy ménage and she doesn’t disappoint in Claiming What’s Theirs. I swear I could see steam coming out of my e-reader. Her descriptions are so vivid that I can easily picture what’s happening and find myself wishing I could switch places with Jessa.
The story flowed naturally making Claiming What’s Theirs an easy read. Once I began reading, I found myself lost in the pages and unaware of my surroundings. Ms. Snow has the amazing ability to create a fictional world that seems so real I forgot that I’m reading a fictional work. It’s one of the many reasons that I love Ms. Snow. I definitely recommend this book for lovers of ménage and shifters.

When Jessa Malone wakes up in a strange cabin after an accident, she finds two brothers eager to meet her. Little does she realize that the two men are shape-shifters and they have selected her as a mate. It’s up to Deacon and Thayer Uncia to be successful in Claiming What’s Theirs.
In keeping with author Jenika Snow’s writing style, there is plenty of bedroom action. The erotic factor is high, straddling the line between explicit and raunchy. Because this is a relatively short book, there is not a lot of time devoted to building a solid foundation for the story line. We discover that Jessa is running from an abusive relationship and that the Uncia brothers have chosen seclusion as the result of a traumatic past. Although these threads were introduced, they could have been woven into a more effective back story.
I like to feel a connection to the characters, but I found it difficult to really embrace this story line. I did, however, like the twist in the story when Jessa’s past catches up with her. The added drama did liven up the story line, but because it was close to the end, there wasn’t a lot of time for additional development.
Plot: Jessa has escaped from her abusive husband but has a car accident. Thayer finds her and takes her to the home he shares with his brother, Deacon. They both believe that she could be their mate, but they've never shared before and Thayer in particular is a little feral. But they're both exactly what she needs after the trauma she's suffered and they'll protect her no matter what.
Commentary: There were quite a few times in the story where I felt really sorry for Thayer because it seemed like the one person who was supposed to have his back - his brother - didn't trust him. Deacon always acted like Thayer was one breath away from having a psychotic break, even when it was obvious that he was in love with Jessa and would never hurt her. I wish he would have given him some credit. I'm sure there were incidents in the past, but it sounded like Thayer was able to interact with women without ripping them to shreds, so it should have been alright with the added insurance of her being his mate. Anyways, good story.
I highly enjoyed this easy read mainly because I wanted the brothers to myself. Now, ménage stories involving brothers (especially twins) have to be done correctly or it can be kinda ick, but I enjoyed every moment of Deacon and Thayer. Jessa is on the run from an abusive ex, whom she smashed in the head with a fireplace poker. And, frankly, she's not sure if he's dead or alive. It's in this emotional state that she ends up wrecking in the snowy mountains. Deacon and Thayer are snow leopards (I love big cats!) who live in almost isolation since Deacon is getting worse by the year. Their world changes when Deacon scents blood and chooses to save the human female rather than hunt her. The three fall in almost insta love, and Jessa is a bit young for my taste, but this was exactly what I was looking for and left me satisfied and wanting to read more of the three (or other snow leopards).
Jenika Snow posted about this on her Facebook group and I saw it about four hours ago. Since then, I've read, made dinner, read, eaten dinner, read, and done some homework... then finished the book. This is a shorter work of Snow's, but that definitely does not mean it lacks the spice and story of the author's full-length works. Jessa is that girl that finally has enough and gets out of a DV situation. You go girl! When Deacon finds her, it sets off a chain reaction between him, her, and his brother that can either end in a HEA or broken hearts. But the brothers have a big secret, and if the men I was living with suddenly turned into snow leopards, I'd probably have a freak out moment, too. Still, this book was a spicy read, with elements of paranormal woven throughout and some triggers (DV and light OW drama, to name two), but did not detract from the enjoyable read. I just wish it was longer!
Glad that this was on sale. My review is about the writing, not going to repeat the "blurb" for the story. I thought the premise of the book was good, always a sucker for the girl needing a "rescue"! And, while I know this is fiction, this was more unbelievable than usual. I think the writer could have created a "fast lane" romance between the three better. My guess was a word count issue was why this was written so choppy? As for the proof reading? I don't think there was any. There are more than a few errors and incorrect wording. If you read the blurb on the publishers site there is one in that! I may read another from this author, but will not pay full price for something that I think could have been done better.
Tropes: - shifter romance (snow leopards) - MFM ~ hero’s are brothers, no ⚔️ - age gap ~ 35(H) & 22 (h) & 30 (H) - protective heroes - heroine in danger - abusive ex (heroine’s) - insta love - cabin in the mountains + snow setting
POV: third person - all 3 main characters
Type: stand-alone novella
Super quick and spicy read!
My first shifter romance and I really enjoyed it. Jenika Snow hasn’t failed me so that could be apart of it.
Hero does “release tension” by going into town to find a willing woman. Normally this would piss me off but it happened so early on that surprisingly I felt nothing.
.....................The story is pretty much your run of the mill damsel in distress meets damaged men, sparks fly, villain enters, good guys beat bad guy, and there is a nice HEA to wrap it all up. What makes this story better than an average 3 rating is the chemistry. I was literally entranced with these characters because they all three bring IT!................ two problems:it needs a good editor, and the overly drippy vagina is way over done....................
I liked the plot. An abused woman finally running away from her abuser. What I really don't get is why after five long ad hell years? I would have left at the first incident. Or in this day in the age of information. Why did it finally take a near death experience to open her eyes? I loved the two male leads. Hot as hell and equally as sinful. Sighing right now. Those two were awfully addictive. Well to me they were. Anyway four stars for the amazing heated sex. That's it.
My opinion...there were some really nice moments in this story that I enjoyed and that I found sweet...But, there were parts that made me wince and other moments that made me roll my eyes or think "what? But..." So the story is kind of sweet and quick...if you like ménage shifter stories that have a "beaten girl meets strong, protective and loving guys" type theme, then go ahead a read this book.
I'm obsessed with Jenikas Lycan series so when I ran across this shifting romance I knew I had to read it. This book contains steamy scenes with 2 leopard shifting brothers...one sweet and the other salty..the perfect combination. I loved the way they treated Jessa. This is a MFM book..no MM scenes. Really liked this book.
It's not the best story in the world, and most complaints (whatever they are) are probably valid. I liked it, though. I tend to be a sucker for stories with a "broken woman." I give it a 3.5, rounded up to 4.
Well written story and well developed characters! Fleeing from years of abuse, she crashes her car. Rendering her unconscious. An almost feral shifter finds her. Will he help her? Will her past find her? What will happen?!?!
I love jenika snow books. They are always filled with love laughter strong female leads and dominating males your never disappointed. I highly recommend this book aswell as any novel she has written
