After a whirlwind romance, Rosie & Jackson are in love, engaged and ready to create a life together…
Or are they?
Rosie still has some trust issues and now Jackson has to return to Thailand. This doesn’t help her insecurities, but she’s willing to fight her own demons for the sake of their relationship.
Jackson has some of his own fighting to do, however, when he’s faced with an old flame, who has set her sights firmly on rekindling their fire…
The rocky road to happiness continues as Jackson tries to learn how to be in a relationship, and Rosie tries to learn how to fully trust her feelings, and the man she loves.
I’m Cas... a mother, a wife, and a writer, amongst many other things. I’m from Birmingham, England but now live in South Derbyshire with my family. I’ve been writing for as long as I can remember but I first published a book in 2012, and my author journey has been a hell of a rollercoaster since then. I write because I love to write, but also because I love to read. I adore the way a book can take a reader away from reality for a while, and I want to be in the driving seat... I hope you’ll come along on a journey with me soon.

After the first book ended in a happy for now note, I was wondering what could be wrong in the paradise now? As in real life, nothing is as shiny and perfect forever and, especially in a new relationship, there are so many things and feeling to develop and discover along the way. Their love has to overcome the well known trust issues that will creep in no matter what and in this case it’s even more as they have to learn to live with a long distance relationship with some people from the past that will try to get their attention in every possible way. Let’s see how this will wrap up because now I’m more invested in the books and the third instalment will hopefully answer some of my questions.
When “Me and Mr Write” ended it was so wonderful and I wonder what could book 2 possibly be about? They are together, all should be well, right? Every relationship has its ups and downs and this one sure has them too. Everything is still new and Jackson and Rosie, they maybe in love but they have a lot to learn about each other. In this book we learn more about the characters, about their pasts. Rosie hasn’t always had it easy, she had things to overcome, not only from her lack of luster relationship from Michael, but also from when she was a teenager. Jackson’s still learning how to have a normal relationship with one woman and how not to mess thing up and root back to the old Jackson ways. We also learn about his past his love for mom, and the women... or one in particular Sasha, I didn't not like her at all from the moment her name came up, I knew trouble was coming. This time I found myself wanting to smack Jackson a lot. I screamed "NOOOO!!" and "Be honest Jackson!! Tell Rosie!” You know I really love a book went I start talking to the characters. I get sucked in and I love it. Oh but that Sasha really pissed me off, my heart broke for Rosie, once she found out what happened and what she did to Jackson and how he went to go see her. I don’t want to give any spoilers so I won’t say what happens, you’ll have to read it to find out. Even though Jackson had me screaming at him, I love his alpha-male-like ways, he’s a true romantic, very protective of Rosie, sexy and yummy, so it’s hard to stay mad at him. In this book Rosie and Jackson are really being tested, there are a lot of uphill battles. Rosie is lucky enough to have Pippa, Rafe and Matthew, to give her support. This one even made me cry and even though it was 3am, I had to start book 3.
Some of my favourite parts & quotes:
“I just love you sis, it’s more than I could have hoped for that we would be here together like this, both happy and in love with our men by our sides. I’m just happier than I’ve ever been.” I smile and squeeze his hand,
“Trying to get me into bed Alvez?” he laughs and I blush when my family join in,
“Yes, because its half one in the morning and you’re drunk. Shift it James, upstairs!”
“What are your plans then Mr James? Lock me up so that I can’t run and then ravish me all weekend?” Rosie is playful as she turns to face me and takes her coat off. The yoga trousers are back and all of a sudden the ravishing sounds like a perfect idea.
It’s a gorgeous sunny mid-April Sunday morning as Rosie rolls over and smacks me in the face with her forearm, “Oh god Jackson, did I just hit you?” she wakes with a start and I pretend to hold my nose in pain, “Oh my gosh, I am so sorry!”
Good read as I was dubious because I couldn't see where the book would go after book one but enjoyed this and getting to know the other characters better. It's not intended to be a deep book but neither is it flighty. Good solid read!
WOW..... I was getting really impatient waiting for the arrival of this book but the wait was well worth it!! At the end of book one Jackson and Rosie are together but boy does that change in book 2 with ups and downs, like you get with nearly every relationship but this relationship proves harder than others when this is Jackson's first so he has alot of readjusting to do.
I love this book from start to finish and was very impatient for Marrying Mr. Write as soon as i was finished with Me & Mr. Write. I very much recommend this trilogy to everyone because i believe it will draw you in like it has done with me.
If reading the Mr. Write Trilogy is a drug then i am addicted and its not one addiction habit i am ready to kick any time soon. Love them all, Big Thankyou to Cassandra for writing these for us to read :D
Wow, can this series get any hotter? The Author has continued the steamy scenes and the emotion that is built up in the moment. I love how Cassandra writes with passion and you feel like you are in the story with Rosie and Jackson. You just love her whole family and how they all interact with each other.
I did think it was a little awkward when Rosie went to meet Jackson’s father and he took her out. Running into old flames that never thought he would settle down. I think I would start questioning things. I mean we all know Jackson was a man whore, but does it just stop like that..l would probably have it in the back of my mind…especially if I was previously left at the alter...but we will see…
OMG…my emotions are all over the place. One minute I am loving this and excited, but then the next minute I am pissed and want to kick Jackson in the balls! What a freaking roller coaster ride. I don’t think either one of thought this was going to be an easy ride…I am excited to see what happens in the next book and see how the story ends with Rosie and Jackson! NEED to Read BOOK 3!!
I was looking forward to reading this book after devouring Meeting Mr Write! It lived up to my expectations, which I find can be quite difficult in a sequel.
Rosie’s and Jackson's relationship is full of ups and downs and keeps the reader enthralled throughout.
Jackson really loves Rosie but he does seem to be struggling with being in a long term relationship as he has not been in one before! I like the way that Jackson is not afraid of admitting that he has been an idiot and backing down in an argument.
Cassandra Lewis really keeps the reader hooked with the emotional rollercoaster and also the cliff-hanger at the end of the book. This really makes you want to read the third instalment, even though without the cliff-hanger you would still want to read it as you just need to know what happens to Rosie and Jackson and will they get their happy ending!
As with Meeting Mr Write, I have recommended this book to my friends as I believe they would enjoy the journey of Rosie and Jackson!
I freaking LOVED this sequel! It had romance, passion, angst!!!, delicious sex scenes, and even moments where I wanted to throw my Kindle against the wall!!! And holy crap.. That ending!!!!??? I-NEED-BOOK-THREE-NOW!!! This is a definite must read!!!
The characters were even more amazing. They developed perfectly through out the story line. There were secrets revealed from Rosie's past, and if I thought she was a strong person before, hell.. She impressed me even more after reading this book. Wow.
Jackson was very swoony.. a true romantic, protective of Rosie and very alpha-male-like. Simply yummy!!! BUT..... I have to say, every time I felt like throwing my Kindle against the wall, it was thanks to him!!! There were moments I found myself hating his guts!!!
This book had a lot of page-turning moments where I simply, for the life of me, could not stop reading!
I really need the third book! Dying to know how Jackson and Rosie's story ends!!!!!
Please either hire an editor or take another read through before self-publishing. The constant lack of correct punctuation or even ANY punctuation was a complete distraction. Every time I saw dialogue cut off with no period, question mark, or comma, or when I came to a paragraph ending in a comma just made me wonder why I was spending time reading a book the author didn't even want to read a second time. I have a very high tolerance for errors in self published works, but page after page of the same errors just doesn't pass. There are a lot of good reviews for this and yes, I could see some potential in the plot and characters. That said the lack of editing just drove me nuts.
This was such a cliffhanger. Everything was going so well between Rosie and Jackson and what the hell just happened??? But I definitely loved the sequel and couldn't wait to get my hands on the 3rd and final book! The author better make sure that the final installment is worth the wait!!! 10 freakin' stars for this book.
I believe you will live the continuation of Rosetta and Jackson in this book. It has a lot of emotional roller coasters. Their relationship has its ups and downs as Jackson loved Rosetta but struggles with being in a relationship as he has never been in one before. And the cliffhanger at the end begs you to want to read the third book. Kathy Coopmans Panty dropping book blog
This is book two in the Mr Write Trilogy. Make sure you read these books in order to get the most out of Rosie and Jackson's story. I couldn't read this book fast enough. The twists just kept on coming and had me gripped. Really great well written emotional roller coaster of a story. There is a cliff hanger but I'm not complaining as book three is already out. Loved it.
This is the second book in The Mr White Trilogy. Will Rosie and Jackson both find what they are looking for? Cassandra again got me engrossed and lost in this amazing story. Her writing skills are superb, you will not be disappointed!
This series is turning out to be quite the addictive, frustrating ride.
I somewhat knew this story would be more complex than I initially thought picking up the book, as is Lewis's MO. She has cleverly crafted characters with layers she slowly peels back instead of revealing all at once. With every bump in the road, she gives the reader a tiny peek inside the characters, a small tell of who they are outside of her story, which I love.
Jackson is the man who refuses to commit. Why? Well, because of his past of course... we get delicious little nuggets that tell us what makes up Jackson and the journey that has defined him up until now but MAN, can I say I did not find him worthy of our girl Rosie at the end of this book. I know Lewis has a plan, but I went to bed HEATED!!
Space was what he needed at book one to see Rosie was all he wanted, but he seems to have a bad memory or is just a slow learner, because the end of this book seems like he LOST HIS DAMN MIND and had me almost tossing my phone at the wall.
Was I frustrated? YES... A MILLION TIMES YES! Did I immediately open the third book? *SIGH* yes, despite it being way too late, I couldn't help myself.
You got me again Lewis, you sly fox! I need to see how this series ends.
Wow what a way to start the new year! My first read of 2021 and it did not disappoint. I love Jackson and Rosie they have such a beautiful fiery relationship but this story took it to a whole new level. There is a great deal of distrust and old secrets coming out but can a man who never wanted a serious relationship really be the perfect fiance?
During this story we witness the weddings of Jackson’s best mate Steve to Annie where we are introduced to Sasha the gorgeous woman who Jackson has had numerous one nights with but whom still harbours feelings for him. Can Jackson be trusted in Thailand on his own while Rosie is at work? Then we get to see Rafe and Matthew marry at a beautiful romantic wedding but something is up with Rosie will this be the thing to come between her and Jackson.
I also enjoyed seeing Pippa settle down with a guy who seems perfect for her and would love to read her story.
The ending had me screaming for more and I am now Really looking forward to reading the next book in the series.
I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review, and I snapped it up as I enjoyed the first in the series so much. It was enjoyable catching up with Rosie and Jackson again, but this one didn’t enchant me the way the first one did. Me and Mr Write picked up where the first book left off and our lovers are still reluctant to fully commit to their relationship, leading to inevitable ups and downs. Pippa, Rafe and Matthew play a part in this story but Pippa in particular is not as involved or as entertaining as in the first book, and at times I found myself wishing Jackson and Rosie would just get a grip. This was a quick and easy read with some slightly repetitive steamy scenes, touching lightly on some deeper issues.
Prior to reading this I was unsure any additional books were really needed in the Rosie and Jackson story, especially a further two.
This book was a really pleasant surprise, while the first book deals with falling in lust this one shows the characters trying to get to grips with life as a couple and the issues that go along with making a life together. We get to see much more of Rosie’s back story and the family life of both Rosie and Jackson.
There were a couple of small areas in the story that I found slightly distracting, for example jumps in the timeline in the middle of a section but this didn’t detract from my overall enjoyment of the book.
Leaving it on such a cliffhanger, I am heading off to start book 3 right now.
I was looking forward to reading this since finishing the previous book and I was not disappointed. It is written with great warmth and the characters all developed beautifully in this new episode of their lives. Once again true love doesn’t run entirely smoothly and there are twists and turns and elements of surprise that I didn’t see coming and some racy scenes. I’d definitely recommend it as a feel good read and now can’t wait to read the next book.
Book one ended perfectly and it was difficult to see what more could be done to keep the tension and story going, but the author was successful in continuing an engrossing and sexy romance that showed the ongoing tensions of a burgeoning relationship where issues stuffed away can surface and test the real bond the two have. My one reserve was the cliffhanger ending which was really abrupt. Other than that a perfect follow up to the first.
Book 2 in the series Like other readers I wasn't quite sure where book 2 would head as Jackson and Rosie were all loved up by the end of book one but no worries there Cassandra has done an excellent job of depicting the tension that builds in a new relationship. No spoilers from me but an excellent read and a worthy second book in the series- I look forward to book 3!
Me and Mr write by Cassandra P Lewis. This is book 2 of the Mr write trilogy. Wow another brilliant read. Great story. Loved most of the characters apart from Jonah and Michael and Sasha. This one did bring tears to my eyes. Can't wait for the final book. 5*.
Another good read. Second book and just as good as the first. Ups and downs of relationships- made me laugh but also sensitively dealt with the not funny bits. Interesting to see what happens in book 3. Thank you
After falling in love with the characters in book 1 I didn't see how book two was needed. I felt this time the time line seemed harder to keep up with but the characters were still as enjoyable as the 1st I now have to read book 3!!!
Well, what can I say. Great follow up to the 1st book! Cassandra is amazing at making you feel exactly how the characters are feeling. You want to laugh with them, cry with them and get really annoyed at them ha! I can’t wait to read the final instalment in this series
This is the second book of a trilogy. It’s such a lovely story, easy to read and didn’t want it to end. A different genre to my usual and so glad I tried something a little different
NEEDING YOU by Cassandra P Lewis had me all in my feels! I was so dedicated to Rosie and Jackson. It was like I was the third person in their relationship. Wonderful peaks and sad and frustrating valleys in their relationship kept me on my toes. Bring on book 3!
Rosie and Jackson’s story picks up right where Meeting Mr. Write left off. Rosie and Jackson are engaged. He has realized the error of his ways and things are good between Jackson and Rosie. Now, they are trying to figure out what a relationship looks everyday.
Their relationship is tested when Rosie heads off to a book tour and Jackson goes back to Thailand for his friend’s wedding. Jackson’s friend, Sasha, has been his ‘go-to shag’ for the last 10 years. They’ve never been in a relationship, but only because Jackson hasn’t wanted one. Now that Jackson is off the market, though, Sasha isn’t ready to let him go.
How far is Sasha willing to go? Will Jackson tell Rosie about Sasha? When Rosie finds herself in a situation that Jackson isn’t ready to deal with, will they make it together?
I really wanted to hate Jackson in Meeting Mr. Write, but he weaseled his way into my heart with his secret romantic and vulnerable side. One he realized that he messed up, he was all in to fix it. I really thought that I was going to love him for the rest of this series. Of course, I was wrong. By the end of this book, I was enraged for Rosie. Enraged like my mouth dropped open, my eyes were wide and I had to suck in a big breath I was so shocked! I was shaking my head (imagine saying, ‘Oh! No, he didn’t!’) and ready to throw my Kindle at him.
I’m not giving Rosie a freebie, but I almost hope a new guy comes along for the 3rd book. Maybe somebody will knock some sense into Jackson. The cliffy at the end…..damn! I am just glad I don’t have to wait for the last book!
