Does she dare say those three little letters—I Do—that could change her whole life?
Becca Preston is shocked when Hollywood megastar Parker Banks proposes to her on the Scoundrels stage. Though they’ve been friends for years, she’s been very careful to never blur that line. After all, she only has one hard and fast rule—no actors. Her famous father’s infidelities have taught her to keep a firm grip on her heart and she’s never been tempted to break that vow. Until Parker walked back into Scoundrels.
Under the bright lights, he breaks down her resistance, opens her eyes to what could be and makes her question her decision to avoid love with movie stars.
And what happens when the performance becomes real? When sex becomes tied up with emotions? Should Becca cling to her safe, yet lonely life or take a chance and make that trip over the threshold?
This short story is the final installment of a trilogy of stories about Becca and Parker’s romance and it is connected to the Scoundrels series, available now at Ellora’s Cave. For better enjoyment, it is suggested that you read Behind the Scenes and Under the Lights before reading this book. Approximate word count is 6200 words.

This is the final part in the scoundrels short stories and it finishes the story of Becca and Parker.
After the scene ends and Parker's question lingers in the air, they flee from Scoundrels into Parker's limo where the hotness continues to sizzle.
I was a bit disappointed that Becca broke down so quickly, especially since they haven't seen much of each other since Parker became famous, but I guess you have to expect things like that in a short story.
From the hot sex in the limo, they end up at a marriage celebrant with the surprise of Becca's friend's being there. They discuss how many babies they will have and then they are quickly married. It all just seemed a little rushed, and I would have liked to see it played out more.
I thought that the fact that Parker had Becca help him pick out a house months earlier was sweet, especially since his intentions were for the house to be their home together, but once again I was left wanting more.
I did like the start where you get to see more of the Becca's friends (the owner's of Scoundrels and their partner's) and I only realised after I had finished these three short stories that the friends have their own books that I probably should have read first. I will definitely be checking them out now.
no entiendo porque en 3 historias cortas y no todo junto y los primeros dos estuvieron bien, porque tenían más historia que puro sexo, este último casi no tenía historia, la verdad no me gusto tanto por esa razón, era más como de relleno todo
Did she come to the realization that every action doesn't act like her father. She needs to remember how Parker has acted in these four year of their friendship. This is a quick hot sweet read. Enjoy I did.
That was was sweeter than hot. As a whole the three short stories were enjoyable. Simple, but good with some steam too. I enjoy Mari Carr, she does the shorter stories well.
