When I lost faith in love, my best friend Emily recommends a dating site where she met her fabulous fiancé George. It worked for her, could it work for me?
I make a profile. But I am sick of guys with no substance. My expectations are higher than before. I want something more. Someone who makes my mind tingle, someone who makes me think. Someone stimulating.
All it took was
one
single
message.
A message that blasts my world. . . There is something about Anton Slater that piques my curiosity to meet him. Maybe it's because he is a powerful prosecutor, or the fact that he’s placed dangerous serial killers behind bars. One thing’s for sure, Anton Slater isn’t like all the stereotypical guys I've ever met.
So I didn't like this book and I would not recommend it. The plot itself was not bad but it was everything else that needed work, especially the characters. I just couldn't understand how Chloe had fallen in love with Anton after seeing him just a couple of times and not really seeing the connection between them. I see this story as having a lot of potential but after a few more rewrites.
1.5 stars. My lowest rating for a booK, EVER. My comments while reading the book pretty much summarize the low rating.
A 22 year old actress joins a dating website after explaining to her friends that she has not dated in such a long time due to prior relationships filled w betrayal (yeah bc every other 22 yr old has found their soulmate). She then finds Anton. The mysterious prosecutor who she falls in love with after a weekend trip and some hand holding. Throw in some lies and mystery and that's where I stopped reading.
