When Jamie MacLeod is asked to keep a watchful eye on Marissa Barclay, he accepts his duty with the flourish only a Highlander can. Mari is determined to have her London season and to keep Jamie preoccupied with anyone but herself. However, she doesn't realize that Jamie finds much amusement in watching her antics and when she crosses he line, he handles it the best way he can, Highlander style. English meets Highlander and tempers will clash, chemistry will sizzle, and Jamie will have his hands full trying to keep Mari safe from herself.

Jamie was such a great hero. Nicholas a was the kind of villian you love to hate, the story was fairly fast pace with the right amount of secondary charactors involvement. However, there has never been a herione I disliked as much as Mari. She was young, impulsive, self centered and really stupid. My h just need more common sense. Jami was much to good for her. - dlwh

I couldn't stand the heroine. Her age, sense of entitlement, and lack of boundaries is annoying. I think if she was older I wouldn't mind her so much.
