From Now Until Infinity

Rate this book
Eight years have passed since Colin and Caroline “Charlie” ended their college romance. A chance meeting reunited them confirming that time had not diminished their love for each other. Now, they have to turn their passionate reunion into a legitimate and sustainable relationship. Charlie’s medical practice is in Houston. Colin is the starting quarterback for Dallas. Distance is not the only obstacle to their happiness. There’s Colin’s (maybe?) ex-girlfriend, entertainment reporter Sasha Stone, who’s granted the first ever tell-all interview about Colin’s personal life. There’s Charlie’s father who is part owner of their medical practice and blames Colin for Charlie’s battle with an eating disorder. What about the demands of the media and Colin’s rabid fans? “From Now Until Infinity” continues the journey of Colin and Charlie that began, ended, and began again in “Falling Into Infinity.”

Layne Harper is a mom, wife, book junkie, and sports fanatic. However, when the kids and husband are safely ensconced at school and work, she slips into her office with her three rescue dogs and writes until it’s time to drive carpool. Her children have no idea about her secret life (and they hopefully never will), and the dogs won’t tell. She’s always writing in her mind though and making notes on whatever is close by; envelopes, napkins, a kid’s homework…

"God blessed the broken road that led me straight to you." - Rascal Flatts

“What in particular has happened that has made you request this emergency appointment?” The answer is simple Colin.Fucking.McKinney.

From Now Until Infinity started immediately after where Falling Into Infinity ended. Honestly, I was afraid that Sasha Stone aka the lover scorned was going to keep turning up and complicate things between Colin.Fucking.McKinney and Caroline (she doesn't go by Charlie anymore). Well she did but only on the sidelines which I really appreciated because most authors would have probably thrown in an antagonist like Sasha in almost every scene just to annoy the hell out of everyone.

Doctor Benson gently asks, "Then why did you take the risk?"
"Because of Colin.Fucking.McKinney."

I swear. There was a vast improvement on Layne Harper's narrative from the first book; whereas Falling tended to be a little bit forced in some parts, this one easily flowed. I almost hated the fact that I was nearly done and I din't even realize it. Now I have to wait for the third book again! *sniffle

"So to answer your question, what’s the worst thing that could happen if I give a relationship with Colin another chance? The worst possible thing that could happen is that I completely lose who I am."

The best thing about any book is when, as a reader, I can relate to a character's feelings. So OK, I may not know what it feels like to date a hotshot celebrity like Colin.Fucking.McKinney but I do know how it feels to lose yourself when you're in a relationship with someone. True, it's not always a bad thing to change a few things about yourself for your partner but the constant compromising that is involved can be overwhelming.

Caroline was right to feel apprehensive. Let's not forget that eight years ago, she did feel smothered and manipulated because she was always trying to be perfect for Colin. This time around, she knew what she needed to do and I really admired her for that because I think us girls tend to adjust ourselves a little too easily just to fit the mold of what the guy wants and for the relationship to work. Like when a guy asks us to follow him to a new city, most of us would probably not think twice about saying yes right away. Good thing Caroline didn't immediately drop everything for Colin.

"You will always be the miracle that makes my life complete and as long as there’s a breath in me, I’ll make yours just as sweet." - I Cross My Heart by George Strait

Not only is Colin HOT and a talented QB, he can SING too! Wow. I wish I can have a guy sing to me while I sleep too. *swoon

There he is - the man that has been starring in my daydreams, Colin.Fucking.McKinney.

I just can't get enough of Colin.Fucking.McKinney (obviously). McKinney = McDreamy.

"Letting guys leave you, Caroline, seems to be your specialty."

Wow. I didn't know Colin could be that harsh but I personally didn't want to go through the heartbreak of another breakup between them. In the first book, Caroline had to choose between being with Colin and pursuing her dreams of becoming a doctor. We know how that turned out. Now, she had to make another difficult decision: her personal and professional relationship with her father or risking everything she's worked hard for in the past eight years to be with Colin.  FYI: Her growth from the first book was really amazing!

Because they started on the wrong foot - getting back together while Colin was still technically with Sasha, they had to face the consequences and her tell-all interview affected Colin's image and even Caroline's integrity. But there was also the impact of Caroline's relationship with Colin on her and her father's medical practice as all the football players that they were treating pulled out. With her career and also her relationship with her father on the line, could she really risk everything for Colin, who has secrets that he's been keeping from her? Could she forget all her what ifs and move to Dallas with him?

"God dammit, Charlie! Do you have to beat me in everything? Shit! Are you really that competitive that you can't even let me decide when we get married? I'm the fucking guy."

So there's another epilogue. And it's in Colin.Fucking.McKinney's POV! Of course I loved it (duh).

BUT it's another CLIFFHANGER! Why? Why? WHY! Read books one and two so you can sympathize with me. Please! (But it's not really a big cliffy, just some unresolved stuff.)

While I calm down, here's a video from Rascal Flatts. The perfect song for Colin and Caroline's love story (Layne Harper was totally spot on with this one).

**Spoiler Alert**

I really liked the first book, especially the fact that the main character followed her own dream of Harvard (I mean, it's Harvard!), and didn't run back to the hot qb a semester later. So I had high hopes for the sequel. But even before I read it I was somewhat frustrated when I realized there would be TWO MORE BOOKS! Not that I have a problem with a good book series, but it's frustrating when an author doesn't reveal how many books there will be for those of us who like to read a series one right after the next. A cliffhanger lover I am not!

I liked most of this book, except for the last 20%. There was so much buildup as to what Colin was hiding, and when he finally shares all of his dirty laundry it really wasn't that dirty (no love child, murder charges, rape scandal, you catch my drift...). I was also a little annoyed when Colin revealed that Kenzie could "fuck like a beast." Ughh! He's a smart enough character to not keep someone around that he was smashing (I apologize for the vulgarity!), but c'mon! I guess that comment set the stage as to why she allowed the interview to delve into more personal issues, but that thought made me dislike Colin a little bit, unfortunately. Though I do always appreciate a male POV at the end of a book.

Not sure if I'll read the last two books because there was ample time to wrap everything up in a nice two-book package. But, alas, I will probably buy the third (the author does write some great one-liners) before I completely rule out the series.

Another solid 2.5 stars for me. I said in the first book's review that I didn't know if I wanted to read the second book, but as you can see, I did read the sequel. The writing is as much the same as in the first one, so yeah all I can really say is that the writing needs some work.

I also think that the characters don't act as if they're 30 at all. Tears galore, and insecurities, etc. They both have issues they need to work on.

I was so honored to have been able to beta read for Layne Harper. I was a giant fan of the first book, Falling Into Infinity. It was one of my favorite books of the year giving it a 5 star rating. I couldn’t wait to catch up with my ol’ friends Charlie & Colin.
description
description

From Now Until Infinity picks up exactly where Falling Into Infinity left off. Charlie & Colin are trying to make their relationship work again after breaking up 8 years ago. Colin is now the famous Dallas quarterback who is also an underwear model (YES PLEASE) and Charlie is doing what she has always dreamed about, working in her father’s office as a doctor in Houston. The two are learning to be together now as adults with their schedule and living in different cities.

Colin is perfect ladies. He is so dreamy and loving. He would do anything for Charlie, anything at all and showers her with his love. Charlie loves Colin but she still is hesitant about their relationship. She hasn’t known Colin as this famous athlete before and is learning to accept his famous life style. At the same time an ex girlfriend of Colin’s is trying to run both their names in mud in the tabloids to further her career. Charlie is trying to accept this new lifestyle in the public eye but is having trouble and it is affecting her and Colin’s relationship causing Charlie doubts.

The first book Falling Into Infinity felt completely different then From Now Until Infinity and that is probably because 8 years has passed and the characters have changed so much in those years. They are completely different people in different spots in their life and the author did an amazing job of changing the characters as they grow.

As I said, the book mostly deals with Charlie trying to make her relationship with Colin work. Charlie is always doubtful and holds back while Colin is the complete opposite but they love each other and that is easy to see and understand. Charlie finally put her relationship first with Colin by the end, which was the first time I felt she really gave it her all with Colin and I can’t wait to see what is in store for them.

At the end I felt a little disappointed, like this is it? I need more! But Layne Harper is not finished in the Infinity Series. More Colin & Charlie are coming and I am so excited. There is still drama to come, I just know it!

I give From Now Until Infinity (Infinity #2) 4 Stars.

I enjoyed reading book two of the infinity series. Colin and Charlie are great characters. The navigation of their relationship after being separated for so long was easy and hard to read. There were several times when I wanted to slap Charlie with all her 'what ifs'. I felt Colin was so confident in her she should have lost all uncertainty. It wasn't until later in the book that began to really understand why she questioned everything. The breaking point when she becomes strong and confident was great. I was thrilled when Colin finally took a leap of faith. That's the only time I felt Colin's vulnerability and it was just Charlie needed. They finally pulled the last straw and ultimately understood each other. I'm excited to get more of their story.

Layne Harper is becoming one of my new favorite authors. I love this series so far. this is the second book of the series, and you are going to need to read the first book Falling into Infinity. this book picks up where the last book ended.

Colin and Charlie are finally back together after being apart for 8 long years. they are happy together, trying to come to terms with all that has happened in a short period of time. But when one of Colin's Ex's who doesn't want to be an EX makes trouble of the happy couple things are as easy as they should be.

There are a lot of ups and down for Charcol. Secrets revealed, surprise given, romance, love, pain, all the emotions are in this one..

I can't wait for the next book of this series to be available.. Layne needs to get writing!

It's been 8 years since Caroline and Colin have been together, but their time apart definitely didn't hinder the love they had for each other! So many deep emotions! Just great!! :) LOVED IT!! <3

I wasn't going to write a review, but after reading this book and then some of the reviews below I feel like I needed to say something…

* SPOILERS*

Everyone seems to be hating on Caroline/Charlie hardcore. I get it, she can be whiny at times and sometimes bitchy, but honestly I feel like her actions could be explained and justified. My problem is with Colin 'fucking' Mckinney (hate how many times this is said in the book btw). So many people say that they are reading the series for him and I just don't get it. After reading the first two books I just feel like Colin is a manipulative and suffocating boyfriend. There is more to a person then just their good looks and charm, and I feel like that is something that Colin uses against Charlie constantly. She even points it out! He says he loves her for her, but then will say how he wants her barefoot and preggo in his kitchen. He was also finding ways to manipulate her into moving to Dallas...

I respect Charlie for having a dream and following through with it in the first book. so many people were hating on her because 'love should concur all' and she had the 'perfect boyfriend' but love should be that they trust they can love each other and still support each other through their dreams. Colin left her. She said they could try, but he's the one that ended it. He can go and fulfill his dream, but she can't? She said in the first book that she needed to learn how to love herself and I thought that was a great line because how can you love someone with all you have if you don't even know who you are? They were 21 for christ sake and he wanted to marry her and plan her whole life! I felt suffocated for her and then after eight years they just fell back into it. I can't believe the cheating on Sasha part! It felt like not a big deal at all. How can you expect him to respect you if he so callously throws other women away like that. He treats a lot of people terribly, but because he loves her and treats her well she's fine with that. Even if Sasha was with him for the wrong reasons cheating it bad no matter what, and for someone with Charlie's past you'd think she would have taken this more seriously.

When they broke up Colin clearly spiraled, which just shows how dependent he was on Charlie. Colin was so dependent and attached to her and if I were her I would feel overwhelmed all the time. She had an eating disorder and overexercise problem, he had a drug addiction and was suicidal. These are heavy issues and I felt like these issues were clear warning signs that their relationship was toxic, but then they felt they were perfect together? How? So many people criticize FSOG and books like beautiful disaster on the abusive relationship in the stories, but I honestly feel like this falls in that category. Charlie could barely be left alone without Colin freaking out. When she went on a run on her own and then came back, he was furious, why? Doesn't he know that by now she needs sometimes to think and be alone? Yes, she had a problem before but its because he won't give her time to be by herself!

She has a hard past and I feel like he just doesn't respect that. There's more to a relationship then just being romantic and dancing to George Strait. They lack serious communication, and I'm reading the next book because I really want to see how their relationship pans out. All I know is that I am a Charlie fan and so far not a Colin fan. Maybe that will change.

Loved the first book(Falling Into Infinity) and loved this book even more! The road hasn't been easy for Colin and Charlie and although I love the fairytale stories, I also love more when relationships are shown realistically and that is the case for these two. I've enjoyed reading about their journey through happiness & struggles, despite my sometime frustration with a certain female, *cough* Charlie ;) This book didn't disappoint though and I was ecstatic to see that there are 4 books in this series. What a treat! I can't wait to see where things go with Charlie and Colin.F*cking.McKinney! :)

I highly recommend this book but it's a must that you read the first book before this one! Bravo to the author on this awesome book & series, so far altogether!

“Colin wants all of me. Every little bit of my soul he wants. I love him, and I crave him too. In some ways, we’re the perfect team. We could have a relationship that’s one of the strongest that the world’s ever seen, but we also have the power to destroy our individual selves in the process.”

Second chances are few and far between, second chances at your one true love are nigh on non-existent. But Caroline and Colin are lucky enough to have exactly that! Though it will come at a cost they never thought possible.

Firstly… WOW! I thought I loved Caroline and Colin in Falling Into Infinity, but my heart was about to burst for them reading From Now Until Infinity! We kick off right where we left off, with Colin and Caroline back together after the weekend in Las Angles at the banquet dinner. In this instalment of the Infinity series, Layne mentions the well-known Rascal Flatts song ‘Bless the Broken Road’ and it’s a song I had in my head for them when I met them the first time round. Now even more so, it’s their song. It embodies Caroline and Colin’s relationship in every way.

There’s a change in Caroline and Colin this time. Obviously 8 years is a long time to be apart but they have to adapt to their new relationship. We get to see a different side to the characters as well.

I was so glad to see the growth in Caroline and the progress she has made to overcome some of her issues. I loved the strength Layne wrote in Caroline. She wasn't perfect, she had her doubts, her “what if’s” but she was resolute to not drown in them as she would have before. Not only had Caroline grown from her past experiences, Colin has some secrets too.

Though he’s still our favourite swoonworthy, loving and caring Statement, Colin.Fucking.McKinnley, we see other sides to him too, some of which will shock you… I was shocked anyway! He hasn't had it as easy as Caroline thinks he has for the past few years. Though it focuses mainly on Caroline and Colin, many of the other characters are developed also, creating more drama for the couple, fueling the suspense growing. Some will regret letting their true feelings be seen.

Layne Harper has quite possibly written my favourite speech for a character… ever. She made me hold my breath with anticipation, bounce with excitement and cry with happiness, all in a few paragraphs. My utterance cannot do the wealth of emotions I felt reading the beautiful and eloquent words of the character and the brilliance of her writing justice. It was… perfect! When you read it, you'll know!

I am totally loving the plot and where things are going. Layne threw me for a loop a few times. I wanted to sit her down and tell her she can’t make so-and-so do this or that. Ultimately, she was right… I take it all back Layne! I can’t wait to see where she takes Caroline and Colin next; I can only imagine it will be even more of a rollercoaster than From Now Until Infinity was for me!

From Now Until Infinity get 5 Amazing Stars

“I’m not proposing to you. I know that I’s scare you away/ I’m just showing you this ring that I’ve had for over eight years, and still have, as proof that I never stopped thinking about you, loving you, or hoping that we’d find out way back together.”

This is the 2nd book in the Infinity series. You must read the first book, Falling Into Infinity, first.

“I just can’t believe that we found each other again, and I’m lucky enough to be loved by you twice in a lifetime.”

Colin and Charlie have reunited after spending 8 years apart, each of them professing the void that the other left in their heart. After a weekend of discovering that they still loved each other and never moved on, they are attempting to make their lives normal. How normal can a life be when you’re dating a star NFL quarterback? Is Charlie heading down the same path with Colin that ultimately led to their breakup?

“Colin can break me. He can destroy me. He can send me back to the dark place where I went when we broke up…Colin has secrets that I don’t think he’s ready to share. He hasn’t changed.”

After their rekindled relationship, Charlie is back at work in her father’s medical practice happy to have signed on new NFL clientele. She is looking forward to becoming the successful sports medicine doctor that she has strived for and to capture her father’s admiration. She is still seeking her father’s approval even after years of him leaving his wife and 4 daughters to start another family.

Colin and Charlie have one more weekend to themselves before being thrust into the spotlight because of a woman who thought there was more to her and Colin’s casual relationship. Colin’s management team wants to help him maintain his image, but Colin is not willing to deny his love for Charlie.

“I.WILL.NOT.PRETEND.THAT.I.DO.NOT.LOVE.YOU.”

Charlie herself is facing the backlash from their relationship after losing clients from her work. She is faced with losing the dream that she worked so hard to achieve. Charlie’s father is livid with her and has basically offered her an ultimatum…her medical practice or Colin. Colin also seems to be offering an ultimatum…him or her father as Colin believes that it’s because of her father that sent Charlie into her defense mode years ago and ended up in the hospital for her eating disorder.

“Why can’t I get the dream job and the boy?”

Besides having decisions to make in their professional lives, Colin and Charlie still have to deal with what went wrong in their relationship before. Not only did Charlie suffer medically following their breakup, but Colin also suffered. He has kept that time in his life a secret from everybody except for 2 people. Charlie needs to know everything before she can completely give herself to Colin. She doesn’t want to be blindsided, which Colin has a way of unknowingly doing from time to time. Colin doesn’t want her to know that dark time in his life.

“What happens if I refuse to share that with you?”

“Then I walk away and refuse to ever have contact with you again.”

In the first book the time frame covered was 10 years. This book covers about 2 weeks. There’s a lot happening in this short amount of time and hopefully Colin and Charlie can take what they’ve learned about each other and from each other to build a solid relationship that will take them through all the difficult decisions they face in this book and also in the future, as there are 2 more books with Colin and Charlie’s story.

Colin "Fucking" McKinney (CFM)...those three words could almost be my entire review for this book - the "Fucking" describing so perfectly Colin's actions both, good and bad, throughout the entire story. He's swoon worthy, he's secretive, he's passionate, he's got an angry temper, he loves deeply, he's romantic, he's manipulative, he can dance, he plays football, he's smart, he knows what he wants, he's thoughtful, he's selfish and so on......

Charlie "Caroline" Collins, eight years later, has graduated from Harvard Med and is a successful Sport Med Doctor, achieving her ultimate dream, and after reconnecting with Colin, is ready to take a chance on love with him again.

There is so much that could be said about this story, but for me the pure beauty of these books, was meeting Colin and Charlie in the first book, getting to know them, formulating my own thoughts and opinions about these two somewhat damaged and very in love characters and then experiencing their story as it unfolds, which at times is incredibly beautiful and at others so painful, but always very passionate. Phew...that was a mouthful.

My best recommendation, is to not read any reviews, so you can read about them without any preconceived ideas and experience their journey as it unfolds, which is why I have kept my review vague. I LOVE this series and have almost too deep an attachment to these people that are fictional characters. These are books that I have read and reread, lost hours reading instead of sleeping, read cover to cover in one sitting, and cannot wait to see where their story goes.

This is the second book in the Infinity Series and Layne Harper did not disappoint. I was eagerly anticipating the return of Colin F’ing McKinney and I was happy to spend my time wrapped up in all things Colin and Caroline. I devoured their story in a day and now will need to wait for book three to see what is next for this couple.

The story picks up right after Colin and Charlie reunite in California. I was anxious to see what kind of havoc a scorned Sasha would be causing after the epilogue in Falling Into Infinity, but was relieved to see that she was not made a focal point of the story.

One of the issues that Caroline had when she and Colin were originally together was being thrust into the spotlight, having all of their moments subject to the public. This was what in turn led to her having to choose between pursuing her career or Colin. When the fallout from Sasha’s interview hits Caroline finds herself right in the middle of the spotlight. However, this time around it is more than just her personal relationship that is at stake. Her professional relationship with her father takes a hit and sends them all reeling.

We also learn that Caroline was not the only one hurt by their separation. Colin has some secrets that he is just not ready to reveal yet about their time apart. A side to Colin that I was happy to see actually.

Forced to decide, what will Caroline do….will she give up the man who is her everything to save her career? Well, if you are looking for the answer to that question, you will have to wait until Book 3.

This was an excellent second book in the Infinity series. For me, it was a book of two halves; the first focussing on them rediscovering each other (not only in the biblical sense) and the second holding the grit of the story. I devoured it.

We pick up seven days after Falling Into Infinity ended. We know what's coming. Caroline and Colin don't. Love, passion, jealousy, compromise, trust, hope and fear. Very few emotions are left untouched. As characters, they have already grown; we find so much more out about them and whilst at times I wanted to shake them, my heart went out to them far more. I felt their happiness and sadness, their joy and pain.

It's touching, romantic, heartfelt and steamy. But there is so so much more to know, and what I love about Layne Harper's writing is that she leaves you wanting more, but doesn't leave you on a cliffhanger that will drive you insane. I'll happily wait, granted a little impatiently, but I have no doubt it will be worth it. I have high hopes for the rest of the series.

Eight years have passed since Colin and Caroline "Charlie" ended their college romance. A chance meeting reunited them confirming that time had not diminished their love for each other. Now, they have to turn their passionate reunion into a legitimate and sustainable relationship... Colin-Fucking-McKinney
From Now Until Infinity started immediately after where Falling Into Infinity ended. It was sad and romantic, and empowering. It will make sense once you read the continuation of Colin and Caroline’s love story. The love is there, it never left. However, their situations are infinitely different now. Colin is no longer just a rookie QB. He's a brand. Caroline is now a respected surgeon seeking to get more involved in the sports medicine side of things. Both have extremely busy lives but they have decided to try at a relationship. The same drama from book 1 follows them. I'm excited to get more of their story. Layne Harper really blew me away with this one! Definitely pick up this book!

5/5 Amazing Stars!!!!

Holy Hotness known as Colin.Fucking.McKinney!!!!

This is the continuation of Colin and Caroline's story. These two decide to be together and know they will have to face some hardships in the future they just didn't realize how soon the hardships would come.

Colin.Fucking.McKinney is a sexy, amazing, man who will do whatever it takes for his second chance at love with his first and only love, but will it be enough or will Charlie go running from him again?

Caroline has grown a lot since the time her and Colin dated in college and she is not that insecure, selfish type girl. She is determined to make this work with Colin because he is her love until infinity.

This is an amazing story of how two people who think the other is perfect come to realize that everyone has issues and that not everyone is perfect. It makes these two just perfect for each other.

I absolutely love the story between Colin and Charlie and cannot wait for book 3!!! :)

I freaking love From Now Until Infinity!
The story just started where the story was left off in Falling Into Infinity.
8 years has passed, Colin and Charlie are both grown up that has changed a lot since they broke up.
Love is sweeter the second time around when they got back to each others life after spending a weekend in Los Angeles but this time they are matured enough to face the consequences and the challenges of their new relationship.
I was so glad to know that despite the years that passed, Colin wasn't totally over from Charlie. I'm a goner for this kind of story that I kept smiling while reading. I love how Layne Harper develops a good character that was not far from reality. It's very convincing and as a reader I could really imagine this story is real.

Colin McKinney is back!!!!
One of my favourite book boyfriend's. I did prefer the first book in the series but that is not to say I didn't thoroughly enjoy this one, just found it slower but still as fab read. Looking forward to the third book, think there maybe more to the jenna story than initially mentioned. I would LOVE to have more POV's from Colin in the next book but that's just my selfish opinion. Need a release date.

First, the editing in this book drove me crazy...lots of errors that could have easily been fixed. I felt like a lot of the phrases/words used in this book were very repetitive. I will continue reading because I need to see how the series ends but I'm finding it harder to like the characters. Caroline seems to know exactly what is happening (like when Colin is manipulating her) but lets it happen anyways. Colin is needy and pushy and may have ulterior motives.

Colin McKinney might be the only reason I decided to read the whole book. Oh and a little of Brad.

Charlie annoyed me. What's up with her "what ifs"? Pointless. And personally I don't need to be constantly reminded of your heights and eye color. So yeah I think the first book is better than this one. Will I read the next book? Depends on the blurb.

I love these characters and LOVED the first book. But sometimes there is too much of a good thing. I felt like their story could have been tied up at the end of this book ....I hope the next book concentrates more on the other characters and gives Colin and Charlie a break from the drama train.

Well A lot is revealed here but you just love Colin I struggle with Charlie Sorry Caroline sometimes I understand it's her character and it's what makes this work but instill wanted to throttle her maybe once or twice. But I'm enjoying where we are going ... Finally!

This is the second book in the Infinity series and is written in Carolines pov. Its not a stand alone and you need to read the first book in the series. The entire series is available through Kindle Unlimited. This review contains mild spoilers.

This book picks up where book one leaves off. Caroline is back in Houston and Colin is driving in for the weekend. They spend a great weekend in New Orleans where she is reintroduced to his celebrity lifestyle of being recognized in public. She also realizes that Colin still has communication problems regarding keeping things from others. They have a lot to adapt to being a part of each others lives and a lot of history to catch each other up on. Colin's ex girlfriend Sasha's interview regarding his cheating on her is published early and this causes all sorts of problems for Carolines medical practice. She has decisions she has to make that are being forced on her by her father, her business partner. The clientele being mostly football player injuries and she dating Colin gives the impression that she could pass on injury reports to other teams. The PR team suggests they do an interview together going over their 10 year relationship and during this they announce their engagement heading into book three.

I enjoyed reading the book and knowing more about Colin and Charlie but the rating has more to do with Charlie and how she acted in this book. She got on my nerves so bad, I felt that she was constantly complaining about Colin and doubting his feelings and saying that he was always manipulating her when firstly, to be honest I don’t feel that she made the effort either to prove her love to him or to reassure him, she just focused on herself and her insecurities. Secondly, I do believe that Colin could sometimes overwhelm her with his feelings and with the relationship in general but I don’t think that he was constantly trying to manipulate her. I really struggle with her especially in the last half of the book because it felt that she was always complaining about Colin and never really stopped to think about how he was feeling or what he was thinking, only about herself.

Great addition....

This is a great addition to the story. The storyline just floods. And we have curveballs coming from everywhere. Just know that this series and its characters is really well written. This short and sweet review because I stayed up late finishing this awesome read. So just take it from this avid reader, that you as a reader need to check it out!!!

Feeling pretty angsty over this whole story. Caroline loves Colton and they should be together. Thank god my real life relationship is not like this one.
He should be focusing on football more than Caroline leaving him. She needs to pull up her big girl panties and get a job so she would feel more in control. Hate Jenny.
