Hell-bent on getting her sister Tess out of the clutches of what can only be a weirdo-cult Erin Wright travels all the way to Montana. Upon arrival she ignores the beautiful setting and the tug of longing in the pit of her stomach. Though most of all she tries to ignore the hot guy who opens the door.
Erin is determined to keep Seth from getting under her skin and the Hawkins family and their magic out of her heart, but that’s easier said than done …
Over-protective and mouthy Erin Wright is on a mission in Montana, determined to save her sister Tess from what she assumes is an emotional disaster. There is NO way to find and fall in love with your soulmate in just a few short days, or is there? Roused by Lilou Roux is another hot and spicy novella about finding love when you least expect it and being brave enough to reach out and grab it.
The chemistry between Erin, the snarky, headstrong big sister and Seth, the quiet, yet equally strong-minded big brother of Tess’s new love. Lilou Roux has another sizzling short that is filled with humor, heat and more secrets revealed. She writes with a flare for creating tension and chemistry in each scene, enough so, that, I had to smile, knowing Erin has met her match in the caring Seth.
Although short, this quick trip into Montana was a pleasure, thanks to Ms. Roux’s brilliant pen!

It's rare to find a novella that gives you everything in a short but sweet time...but this one does. We've got a heroine who is bossy, tough and yet totally worried about her baby sister and deep down even a bit insecure. A real person. And the hero...aaahhh, the hero. Seth seems so easy to figure out and then he surprises the hell out of Erin/you!
Loved the steamy parts. Really, very well done. No dirty talk or BDSM is needed to make this a damn erotic tale!!!
**I received a copy from the author in exchange for an honest review**
So this one follows Erin, the old sister of the two, and how she follows her sister, Tess, across the country worrying her sister may have gone a little mad, wanting to marry a man she's known for such a short time.
Erin is fiery and doesn't mess around with words. She tells people what she thinks and wants and has never met anyone who stands up to her. Until she meets Seth. He knocks her down a few pegs with his flirty attitude and she finds herself wanting him, almost as much as he seems to want her, but she holds back.
I have to say I liked Seth, he's sort of gentle in his seduction of her. He doesn't push her into anything but he wants answers as to why she keeps turning him down when he realises there's a definite reason behind it.
It was a sweet story of overcoming fears and finding yourself again after suffering at the hands of someone else.
Details, details, details. They're often left out of short stories which in turn can leave a reader feeling robbed of...something. That wasn't the case with this story. Ms. Roux's ability to pack so much into so few pages is truly amazing.
I was pulled into the story after the first few sentences and didn't stop reading until I reached "The End." Emotions, dialogue, memories. Everything kept my attention and made this short a terrific read.
When Erin learns her sister settling for Nathan in small town, she comes to find out what happened and convince her sister to take back. But when she meets Seth, she is overcome by feeling of longing, belongingness and love. Can she avoid the connection?N loose her only love?
Wow, even though this was a shorter story than the first (read it within an hour) it was flipping hot. Holy cow, I can't even tell you how strong the initial sexual tension/teasing was.
