The Cliff complete edition is actually twice as long (243 pages) and the analysis of the play really well done.

A fantastic supplement to the play itself; explains many themes easily missed by the casual reader and details Elizabethan jargon. I used it as a guide to teaching and testing a Shakespeare/R&K unit for homeschooling my 7th grader. (I also had him read their explanations after he reading each of the original acts) 5 stars

Read the play, then the notes. Annaliese Connolly presents many themes as backed up by imagery and lines and that recur during the play that I missed. I recommend this even for the experienced reader who HAS read the play.
