Thirty and single? Getcha ass to the Gathering!

Ugh. Gabriella Wickham thought turning thirty was bad enough, but now she’s been invited (ordered) to attend this year’s Gathering (werewolf speed dating). Having a Mark on her arm means that she’s one of the few human women destined to mate with not one, but two Alpha werewolves. Thank goodness werewolves don’t come in “ugly.” After her sister Scarlet mates the Ruling Alphas, things really start to get interesting. Gabby runs into not one, but two hotter than hot werewolves who make her tingle in all the right places. Yum. Of course, “yum” comes with baggage of both the mental and female kind. Lovely. Luckily it’s nothing a few punches and a good talking to can’t cure. Maybe…-ish.

Berke Davis and Jack Wright know that lush, curvaceous Gabriella is their mate. Who cares that they’re currently not part of an Alpha pair? Details, details. Burke has been half bound to his best friend Jack since they were four, but the past keeps them from solidifying their pairing and taking up the mantle of Alpha. Berke understands his friend’s feelings, but Jack is about to get a lesson on living and loving. Berke just hopes the lessons are learned before they both lose Gabriella. Especially when she is Challenged by a rival to first blood…a Challenge that could end in very permanent, and deadly, consequences…for Gabriella.

Is there a typo because i thought Scarlet men names were Keller and Madden! Why are they saying Keller and Garron? I thought Garron was one of the wolves that got killed earlier in book 1! The book was okay the name change was throwing me off. Jack was killing me with that back and forth mess. Scarlet was hilarious she is taking that ruling alpha mate to the max! lol. I'm really interested in Whitney's story since she is not marked. The warden's know the deal but they haven't told her yet.

I enjoyed this book. Gabriella was tough and sweet. Her alphas Berke and Jack came with their own drama. Berke was sweet, where Jack was rough. They overcame their past to be with Gabby. Gabby grew into a strong Alpha female by the end. Their story came full circle. Growing and changing for each other. They had great chemistry, passionate love, hot sexy time. I recommend this to all wolf/erotic readers.

(Sep) 3.5* This picks up right where the first book, Scarlet, left off. Gabriella is Marked - a mark at birth indicating that she is the Mate of a pair of ruling Alpha wolves. She's not thrilled with the idea, and adding in her insecurities about her weight, just wants to get through the meeting where Alpha pairs sniff out their fated Mate. Berke and Jack are the Captain of the Guards and Lieutenant, respectively. Blood brothers since they were little, Berke gets one whiff of Gabriella and knows she is their Mate. Jack, however, had a traumatic event occur when he was 16, leaving his afraid to take the final steps to becoming an Ruling Alpha pair with Berke. He too senses that Gabriella is meant for them, but his fears force him to reject her. Once Gabriella is challenged by a bitchy wolf for the right to be Berke's mate, Jack gets his head out of his ass, accepts that he needs to bond with both Berke and Gabriella, and after a sexy mating night, they all live happily ever after. Next up is youngest sister Whitney and the Wardens.

This book is book two in the alpha marked series. This story is short, fast paced and enjoyable. I read this book in one sitting and wasn’t once bored.
I really liked Gabriella’s sass and feistiness. Gabriella was a strong independent woman that wasn’t afraid to stand up for herself.
The chemistry between Gabrielle, Berke and Jack was clear to see. My heart ached for Jack and all that he had been through. I wanted to Jack to give love a chance. Overall, I enjoyed this story.
The only problem/fault I found in this story was: In book one Gabriella’s sister Scarlett’s mates were named Kellar and Madden. In this book it was said that Scarlett’s mates were Kellar and Garron. Garron was one of the wolves killed in the challenge in book one. I later went on to read book three in this series and the names were back to Kellar and Madden.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and a nice read. I cannot wait to read more books from this series.

Gabriella Wickham knows it is her duty as a rare human marked to become mate to an Alpha pair, but her heart is currently not in it. The speed dating which is more like a scratch and sniff is taking it's toll, but she has no clue that Berke Davis is her mate. The hitch in the pair is his best friend Jack who refuses to believe he is part of the pair. Verbally announcing his rejection of Gabriella ends up turning the whole process upside down, not to mention he has a royally pissed off mate.

Entertaining shifter story, I thought the idea of speed dating for wolves was hilarious. Gabriella is a handful, Berke is holding down his wolf, while Jack is working through his own issues. Had a few unexpected surprises and was pleased by the dynamic between the three.

Was almost as funny as the 1st book! Scarlett held it down. With her character it would have been kind of boring.
There a big typo with the author calling one of the Ruling Alpha -Garron. Garron was an Alpha that the Ruling Alphas killed in the first book.

Sloppy!
"A single word pounded through her mind: blood. Six letters, a single object." Really? Last time I checked blood has 5 letters.
Also the Ruling Alphas are called Keller and Garron in this book. Pretty sure it was Madden in the last one and Garron was one of the challengers...

So much better than the first. Gabby was funny and it was nice to finally Jack, realize what he'll be missing. And Hannah, I wish there was more of a closure, she sucked. Moving on to book 3, I think it'll be more interesting than the last two.

It was very short, but it was ok because the story was very average and I wouldn't want to read any longer.
There is some angst as one of the shifters wasn't sold on the entire mate thing, there was some major female tantrum and female shifter and human fight (which was a little meh). Towards the end we also get a ton of spice too.
The narration was good, but it'd have been better with a male narrator too.

Gabby

Gabby has a mate mark . She is at the Gathering to meet her mates. She meets one of her mates, the captain of the Ruling Alphas Guard. But the other mate Jack, has commitment issues. Only she can heal him.

GABRIELLA (Alpha Marked #2) by Celia Kyle

GABRIELLA is the second storyline in Celia Kyle’s erotic paranormal BBW Alpha Marked romance series focusing on Scarlet, Gabriella and Whitney Wickham-fraternal triplets and potential mates to shape-shifting ruling Alpha pairs. A bit of a warning, this series contains M/M/F sexual situations.

The premise of the novella length storylines is the festival of The Gathering- a speed dating (of sorts) where marked human females (who have not been claimed by their thirtieth birthday) are commanded to present themselves as potential mates for Alpha pairs. As luck would have it, the Wickham triplets had not been claimed and it was their turn to appear before the Alpha pairs for the official ‘sniff test’ of compatibility. Two Alpha males rule as one-claim and mate one female together. This is Gabriella’s story and one with a bit of a twist.

Captain of the Guard Berke Davis knew that Gabriella was his mate. Along with his second in command and life long best friend Jack Wright, both males knew they were Alpha material but Jack’s belief that his blood line was tainted prevented either male from seeking the coveted position within the pack or any pack, for that matter. But The Gathering would force Jack’s hand as well as Gabby’s potential as a worthy mate for two wanna-be Alphas whose only sin was being born into the wrong pack.

Gabriella-Alpha Marked is a fast paced, short storyline whose events start immediately following the end of Scarlet. The attraction between the trio is immediate as the ‘wolves’ know that the female is their mate. The sex is hot and limited to only one chapter. The sexual language and descriptions are not as graphically explicit as the first storyline but there is still quite a bit of heat and steam due to the nature of the M/M/F relationship. And because the storylines are novellas, the world building and character development are limited to what may or may not occur in the span of a few chapters and a couple of hours in virtual time.

Your past will always be with you, your parents mold you and you do take some traits after them. Jake think he will be just like his father. In thinking that he cuts himself off from his own fate as a Alpha and a mate. Burke a captain of the Reining alphas and best friend of Jake, will have his work cut out for him, not only making Jake see how wrong he is but also showing Gabby that they both want and love her. Gabriella (Gabby) a feisty got to love her type of girl, with some added curves she thinks that is her downfall. Her mark guarantees her not one mate but two, she can accept that right...

This was fun! I loved the sisters and their awesome personality! Gabby as spunk and isnt afraid to show anyone, especially the fanged ones wrapped up in fur. As her sister before her, gabby will continue to set the "Wolf" world on their butt and have fun doing it. I cant wait to read about the last sister.

Great read if...you like PNR, short reads, sexy reads, MFM (as in no man on man touching), humor, insta love and an HEA.

Side Note: I had a good feeling I was going to like her sister Gabby after reading about her in the first book, but then she front and center and had some comments that had me in TEARS! (From laughing) These sisters spunky, but all so loveable at the same time. The big scene in this one was surprising but had me cheering and the men who love this woman proved it and know will keep proving it, ready to go to tooth and claw with her whenever she sees fit!

"She wanted someone to pee in their cornflakes and throw a flaming shit bomb at their front door!"

I laughed out loud multiple times with this book! Celia Kyle continues the trend of sassy, feisty, and strong women with this second book about Scarlet's sister! Burk and Jack have an interesting dynamic and I am not sure how I feel about them in the beginning. It is not til they come together that I truly embrace them! The humor is free flowing and the story moves along really well! I can't wait to see what happens with Whitney! Again another book that is great on audio!

These stories definitely need more depth and meat on the bones.

Thats what these feel like the bones of a story. Its a great short outline fitted into one day.

I was hopping that this would be longer than the first... some authors do that to the first or 0.5 of a series. However if you want a fast paced read here it is.

Funniest Ménage Stories Ever!

These books are really really funny! The women are strong and snarky and totally kick ass! Plus you get the alpha yumminess of a pair of wolves for each gal. Sure, things get squishy and a bit bloody, plus the amazing magical moments, but it all comes together in an amazing series of standalone books that are very entertaining.

Second of trilogy. A little more plot, but still disappointed no-interaction between the males.....finding it difficult to understand why the bond is only via the female....

So, rejection, fight, declaration, mate....next.....

Celia Kyle can write some steamy stuff! The story of Gabrielle follows Scarlet, so a lot of the characters were familiar. I liked that the story line continued grom the first story, and the shifter mating was already explained. It was a good quick read.

Kyle, Celia; GABRIELLA [Alpha Marked, #2]
Ebook; genre: {paranormal romance}

General Synopsis:
Fraternal triplets Scarlet, Gabriella and Whitney Wickham have reached the age of 30. Unmarried. Sadly, this means they must make their way to The Gathering, where they meet possible mates in an Alpha pairing. As Scarlet puts it, "basically, werewolf speed dating." Well, Gabriella Wickham is not having a good time, her sister Scarlet has found her mates in the Ruling Alpha Pair, but the only two men who have caught her interest are the Ruling Alpha Pair's Guards: Captain Berke Davis & Lieutenant Jack Wright. The only problem is, they aren't an Alpha Pair, so how can they claim their "Marked" mate? Warning: This book does contain M/F/M sex

Characters/fu-bo list:
Whitney, Whitney
Emmett, Whitney
Levy, Whitney

Personal Opinion:
I have to be honest, this part of my review was also set for Scarlet, but at the bottom, I included a couple of cute quotes I thought were interesting:

I actually read this book a while ago. I am a big fan of Celia Kyle (to the point where she has her own shelf on my Kindle ✌(-‿-)✌). But here's the thing, I was looking for titles to fill out a reading challenge I am doing and one of the things I looked for was books I have read, but have neglected to review. It's like two birds one stone. Problem was, on goodreads, it listed a number of Celia Kyle's as unread, so I was pretty shocked and decided NOW, I HAD to read these books again & not just for the challenge.

As I mentioned in the general synopsis, this book features a ménage à trois, a romance between M/F/M. I know some readers are hesitant to read this type of book, so that is why I put that under the synopsis, even though I think from the cover alone, it is pretty obvious.

The story itself is very short, and is a very quick read. That being said, I would like to say there is more to the story than just sex, but it should also be noted for the story line to progress, you need to read the remainder of the books in the series, since to be it is one big whole. This will also grow to include Rebecca, Lorelei & Paisley.

Do not read if you don't want to know something that happens in the book.

Gabby ". . . Someone's been reading some hard core erotica." Whitney leaned close. "She claims it miraculously appeared on her e-reader." I am totally going to use this in the future! Sorry Ms. Kyle.

Now I am off to read Whitney, the story continues, but we finally get some answers as to why Whitney was invited to "The Gathering," even though she doesn't have a mark like sisters.

Why Amazon insist on 20 words for a review via kindle, I don't know. Especially when I just want to say this was a brilliant book.

🎧Audio book and plot review:
🌶3some level spice- yum!
✅️Ending- HEA
👢Standalone and reads perfectly fine as such, but can be read together in the series- not much is gained/lost by reading them together.

Really quick read,
Very funny, great banter, clear writing, enjoyable and well narrated with good tone changes and hot smutty scenes. they are really different stories and quite addictive really. I'm really enjoying this series to be honest, great spice, good plot, funny characters and enjoyable easy 'reading'
personally they are too short, with a bit more world building the author could add even more character building and plot development and it would all fall really naturally as the suthor really is a natural. I do wish they were at least double the length, so we could get a bit more about the after mating story, maybe a pup or two...
