This book is very inspiring, for writing on a christian level. It encourages you to write to glorify god and his message, rather than to write for self serving reasons. I found the challenge about jealousy quite fascinating, as it is easy to feel jealous of other writers who have been successful in commanding their message to the masses, but it is also evident that if you become motivated rather than jealous of others, it can be quite rewarding.

One of my favourite quotes from the book is: "Writing is a marathon, not a sprint". Writing takes a lot of time, perseverance and motivation to ensure your message is finished and portrayed with its proper intention.
I enjoyed reading this book, and will likely return to it during my writing process to keep me encouraged, focused and aware of my writing intentions.

Glory to god!!!

This was a wonderful, and short little e-book full of wisdom and advice for Christian authors both old and young alike. Some of the topics covered were: “Spiritual Battles of the Christian Writer,” “When You Feel Like What You Write Doesn't Matter,” and “Developing a Vision.”

This book was an easy reading. I read it in two days but you could spread it out more than that if you wanted. The chapters were short so it's something where you could easily just read a chapter each morning.

I thought there was some great insight in this book. It really challenges you to give your writing over to God and trust Him with the outcome. I recommend this book to anyone who is already a Christian Author or to anyone who is considering writing or in the process of becoming an author.

This e-book isn't very long, but indeed it's been the best piece of encouragement for Christian writing I've discovered in my short span of reading such things. :) Each chapter is short, meaning you can still have time to actually get some writing completed afterword! Chapter topics cover jealousy of other writers, self-worth issues, encouragement for when you feel your words don't matter, committing our words to the Lord, and spiritual battles of the Christian writer. I plan on reading this perhaps once a year from now on.

Called to Write is another good books fro Christian Authors but it is also good for bloggers. (The other one is Write for eh Glory of the King). It gives you ten challenges and I found them very helpful in my life as an author. Although I am not really called to write, I do know it is a talent the Lord had given me in which I need to use it well and right.

Called To Write makes the reader really think on what's important and helps the reader to have a better biblical perspective.

This book is a blessing to me. It really addresses the problems and struggles of the beginning Christian writer. It explains quite clearly the pitfalls that Satan will try. Very inspirational and explains the godly spirit a writer must have to glorify God.

Short but powerful

In this inspirational book, the Logans give sound reasons for following God's call on your life to write. By writing, we can have an impact on our world even if we never see the results personally.

Simply put and full of truth, this book encouraged me to keep pursuing my calling. It couldn’t have come at a better time. There was so much confirmation! It’s an excellent simple read for anyone looking into writing what God has placed on your heart. This includes wisdom for checking your motivations.

As a Christian who feels the call of God to write, and giving up a good career to do just that, this book was very encouraging. A must read for anyone who feels the call, even if it's a little. Full of great Christian wisdom, it gives me ideas on what to pray for and through before the trials even come. I need to keep in mind that this is a spiritual thing I am doing that will be a spiritual battle even far beyond myself. Thank you for this great read. Thought there should be alot more information that the writer should have added. But a great read.

Here is a handy book for Christian writers. It serves as an encouragement to see your writing as a mission and a calling.
It can be hard to keep in mind from time to time. "Called To Write" takes you to a point of practical application for life. The book walks you through a series of exercises in mindset. I would assume this to be a good morning devotional for a newbie faith-writer like myself.
If you have been called to writing but you have not become prolific, I would highly recommend this book.
