The equipment as drawn (VDU + CPU) is now something of a period piece, but Fiddy’s humour nonetheless remains funny; decidedly black at times: for example, failure to carry out sentence of death by electrocution: the computer screen displays ‘ERROR”! Many of the jokes rely on the computer user’s psychological inability to be separated from his computer (yes, it is mainly ‘his’) … some things never change!

In 2013 the subject to draw would doubtless be teenagers, their ‘smart’ ‘phones, and their personal disinclination to engage in verbal conversation.
