They haven't seen each other for a decade but they seem to have a connection regardless. Starting to hang out, they grow close. Well, another member of the Coyote’s hockey team has stolen my heart! Catching The Captain (Charleston Coyotes Hockey #2) is a wonderful and easy going book that kept me entertained. And what’s not to love about Kaiden? He’s an all around good guy, he’s sexy and he really made me swoon with all his protectiveness and charm. Rori is a sweet and down to earth woman and she’s exactly what Kaiden needed in his life. Together they are a fantastic and amazing couple and I adore their flirty banter. All of this makes a great and well written storyline, this series just keeps getting better and I can’t wait to read the next book.

What a feel good and romantic addition to the series! Kaiden is this year's summer book boyfriend!
Kaiden hasn't seen Rori in 12 years but when a situation has them brought back into each other's life, his interest becomes a little more than interested and intrigue.
Kaiden is honestly everything. He is a caring captain, swoony, sweet, protective and he is funny...especially when banter ING with his team mates! Who are completely amazing and funny in their own right and I love what they add to the story.
Rori is strong and knows what she wants despite just being fresh out of college. I love her feistiness and drive. Her and Kaiden's chemistry is perfect!
This is a sweet and fun read that I was invested in from page one! Definitely recommend grabbing it up!

As always, a great book from this author. Kaiden and Rori are definitely a pair worth reading. It is hard not to fall for Kaiden. He is genuinely a good guy. I love how protective he is. Yes, this book is an age gap and he did date her sister years ago, but wow…. A great book!

I loved how easy this book was to read. It had a good plot that kept me interested & the perfect amount of spice for the book size. Rori & Kaiden were so easy to love & I enjoyed how their story played out for the most part. Kaiden was so protective, sweet, and had some dominance going on! He surprised me with that but I would be his “good girl” any day. I would’ve rated this book higher if it didn’t end the way it did & we had a further look into their future. Overall I would recommend it to anyone who wants a quick read featuring a insta love vibe with a hot hockey captain who will have you wishing you were his girl!

You just need to read it!
Just like Rori, it was hard not to fall in love with Kaiden right from the start! He’s so swoon worthy and his protective prowess was too hot to handle. Rori was so strong and fiercely independent but succumbed to Kaiden and his dominance when necessary 😉. Despite their age gap Rori and Kaiden complimented each other perfectly. I loved that this book was low angst and true to Jacob’s writing, comical. Another 5 star must read feel good romance!

This was a hockey age gap romance. CA Kaiden is the older center for his hockey team, the Charleston Coyotes. He helps a younger woman, after seeing her nearly run over. He realizes that she’s the younger sister of a woman he dated in college. He also realizes that he’s really attracted to her. Sparks fly and the rest is history! Great story and an easy, light read.

This is now the third book I have read by this author and I am fan! I just want to read his whole backlog now. In Catching the Captain, it’s Kaiden’s story with Rori. They actually have somewhat of a past— Kaiden dated Rori’s older sister in college. They met again after 10+ years when Kaiden sees a women dodging a car who turned on red and that women happened to be Rori. He brings her home and that starts their friendship to lovers. Kaiden is such a protective cinnamon roll. There is levity his Serena, Rori’s best friend. This story gives you an age gap, cinnamon roll/protective H, forced proximity, and of course sports. Can’t wait to read the rest of the back log!

She caught her captain!
OMG these two are so amazing. I love them together. Even though they knew each other in the past they didn't let it come between them. He is so protective of her and it's so sweet but also drives her a bit crazy. Can't blame her there. They are perfect!!

Loved reading this latest edition to the Charleston Coyotes. The budding relationship between Kaiden and Rori is sweet and a little bit spicy! With some cameos from other favourite characters, it’s a real page turner.

Such a good read. Kaiden helps Rori when she almost gets hit by a car. Once they recognize each other, the sparks start flying and never stop. Faced with some serious and not-so-serious issues, they prevail until they get to their HEA!!

This is the second book in the Coyotes hockey set. I loved the storyline with Rori and Kaiden. Kaiden is an amazing guy, and loved how he just wanted to help her, or have her back no matter what. Murphy and Ryder were awesome too, they cracked me up with their antics. There were a few hints at possible future stories. Although would
love to see what happens to Serena. I do wish there had been a little more on why there was such an issue with Rori's sister. I also loved their were past characters from other series that have been written.

Rori and Kaiden have history. He used to date her older sister 12 years ago. They have instant attraction and start hanging out. After a roommate issue she moves in to Kaiden’s house. Their relationship is going great but Rori’s sister and her mom are not happy about it. Kaiden stands up to Rori’s family. Her mom and sister are classic mean girls but they get their minds right after Kaiden gets with them.

“Good Girl”and I’m hooked
Ahhh! Kaiden had me at his first “good girl”. Who doesn’t love a possessive alpha MMC, that happens to be a hockey god and super sweet? He has it all. And he gives his all to Rori, the strong, maybe clumsy, independent woman that he falls head over heels for instantly.
This author has a way of just keeping a smile on your face the entire time you are reading.
Can’t wait to see the rest of the Charleston Coyotes.

OFF THE CHARTS
I am absolutely, positively in love with this book. Kaiden and Rory are a dynamic couple. They are officially my favorite couple by this author (Still love Zeke). Their journey together is fun, delicious, and swoon worthy. I want more of them. The writing and flow of this book is amazing. I beyond recommend this book.

Captain gets the win
It's always a quick download once I know the new Jacob Chance book is out.
The Captain got his leading lady for sure. It was great to see such a strong leader get and equally strong independent female. Rori is his match in every way!! She keeps him in his toes and challenges him in the best way!! I love their banter.

Loved this book - second in the Charleston Coyotes series from Jacob Chance. It has all the sexy, sassy, lol moments that make it a fun read along with a great cast of crazy supporting characters (of which I hope we'll see more of 😀)

Loved it. Kaiden and Rori were so great. Kaiden is so affectionate and possessive in a god way. Chemistry was hott... I absolutely loved it. Highly recommend

Catching the Captain was an easy to read sweet romance, with some comedic relief.
Kaiden was a little too perfect for my tastes, I think my little dark heart was yearning for a bad boy. He came swooping in to pick her up on his white horse and whisked her away to his beachside mansion. However not everyone is happy with Aurora’s new beau and she’s going to have to choose between her happiness or to keep the peace. Their is lots of banter between the players that makes you laugh and Rori’s bestie is really good value.

Finished reading Catching The Captain early hours this morning. Really enjoyed this book and I loved Kaiden and Rori..Fabulous couple with great chemistry. I loved the age gap and that they knew each other from years ago and reconnected in a verydifferentway. Great scenes and side characters to add an extra finesse to the story. I wasn't quite ready to say goodbye to these two and was sad to read the last page.

Only the second book in the series and it’s my favorite. I can’t wait to see what Jacob brings us next. I’ve been waiting for Kaiden my whole life!! He’s absolutely incredible and I’m definitely in love. Rori is completely amazing, and together there a beautiful couple.

A very sexy, short and enjoyable read!
Catching the Captain was a very quick read because it’s so entertaining you wont put the book down till you’re done!
Kaiden and Rori have a chance run in, but they already know each other! What could possibly be a messy situation turns out to be one of the best decisions either has made!
I love how sassy and strong Rori is. She doesn’t just sit and wait around for things to happen. She takes charge and is independent, but isn’t scared to let someone help when she needs it! Her and Kaiden had a great dynamic!

This author was on point with this book. I love Kaiden and Rori as a couple. It has everything you’ll want a little taboo, age gap and Alfa male. His protectiveness of Tori was the sexiest and sweetest thing ever. She was a sassy woman that knew what she wanted. I highly recommend this book!
