How does a man handle immense talent and how does a man handle immense pressure from his family to reach his potential? To succeed in life.
This book chronicles the life of a young dag Hammarskjöld - before he became UN Secretary general. I am most interested in his intellectual world and his discussions with his closest friends (which this book managed to provide). I wouldn't say its a must read for any Hammarskjöld-enthusiast but perhaps a "should read" provided that they are interested in his personality and spritituality.
