“He’s not some boyfriend in a line of them. He is my alpha and omega. He is the sky over me. Without him, I’m lost. There’s no one else, no one whose soul balances mine the way his does.”
“You dress for the world, but under that, you dress for me. I own your softest places, and what touches them is mine.”

“I want you to understand something. That man? He’s not some boyfriend in a line of them. He is my alpha and omega. He is the sky over me. Without him, I’m lost. There’s no one else, no one whose soul balances mine the way his does. I’ve waited my life for him, and when he came, I didn’t recognize him. Not until recently. If I lose him, I swear, as God is my witness, I will be alone. No man can match him.”

“You are the sun I revolve around, the stars that mark me, the moon rising through me. I’m lost without you. If you won’t have me, I’ll break, I swear to God. I know it’s selfish, and I’m sorry. Let me serve you. Have me as yours. Let me live under you.”

“My lips on your body trace the story of my love.”

Take my hand, my love.
On sinews of air we tread
Aught but distance our guide
With no tempo to our gait
No endpoint drawn
Neither plot nor plan
By the thorns of a compass rose
We bound toward the horizon

That man. He’s not some boyfriend in a line of them. He is my alpha and omega. He is the sky over me. Without him, I’m lost. There’s no one else, no one whose soul balances mine the way his does. I waited my life for him, and when he came I didn’t recognize him. Not until very recently. If I lose him I swear, as God is my witness, I will be alone. No man can match him.
“Goddess,” he said, his breath on my mouth. “Have me, please. I was wrong. You’re not the sea under my sky. You are the sun I revolve around, the stars that mark me, the moon rising through me. I’m lost without you. And if you won’t have me, I’ll break, I swear to God. I know it’s selfish, and I’m sorry. Let me serve you. Have me as yours. Let me live under you.”

Each breath, each note, each word,
no matter the song, was about one thing only.

"You're not the sea under my sky. You are the sun I revolve around, the stars that mark me, the moon rising through me. I'm lost without you. And if you won't have me, I'll break, I swear to God. I know it's selfish, and I'm sorry. Let me serve you. Have me as yours. Let me live under you."

I stand almost six feet tall. I walk like an ocean wave and I sing like a storm. My voice is a force of it's own and I let it loose like a hurricane. I am safe I own what I make. I am a creator. I am an artist."

Sing is the 7th and final installment in the Songs of Submission series that consists of seven main novellas and three side novellas. The previous part of this series ended with a HUGE cliffhanger so I was anxious to start this book right away (most of the novellas ended with a bit of a cliffhanger btw so it's best to read them when you can all read them in a row).
Sing did have a complete different feel to it than the previous books in this series. There were some very unexpected events that I did not see coming and that gave the story much more depth. It was a heart wrenching, unputdownable, sensual emotional roller coaster that ended with a fabulous epilogue in which all lose ends were tied and in which all my hopes for the perfect ending to Monica and Jonathan's whirlwind romance story came true.
"My life is with him. That's how I live it. The rest is unnecessary complication."

"My lips on your body trace the story of my love."
"Godess," he said, his breath on my mouth, "have me, please. I was wrong. You're not the sea under my sky. You are the sun I revolve around, the stars that mark me, the moon rising through me. "You look at me. Your eyes eat me alive, I feel you between my legs, even though you're half a room away. If I could draw you closer with my desire, you'd be on me. I'm hungry for you."
'... I can breathe
Without it
I can see
Without it
I can sing half a woman...'
"...'tomorrow I'm going to destroy you. I'm going to mark your body and ruin your mind. By noon, you won't know whether to laugh or cry. But tonight? Tonight, I will revere you. I will build an alter of myself. I will frame you in the stars."
