This book was a great read! The characters were realistic and the romance didn't happen overnight. There was growth both relationship wise and romantically. Not overtly sexual so appropriate for teen readers
The supporting characters all brought something good to the story - and there was emotional turmoil and angst.
I can't wait to the next installment to see what happens!

Amazing, I personally know Heather. And being able to hear her plot for this book and see it grow is wonderful. I believe this is just the beginning for her. She is a person who doesn't give up. I was honored when she put me as a character in this book. I was able to relive our high school days, going to band practice, etc. This truely is a Goodread. 5 stars to you!

I was actually very excited about reading this book. I pushed my self though 30% of it before I said "fuck it" and just gave it up all together. Before I knew the author was a 23 yr old woman I actually thought an over dramatic 14 yr old. There really wasn't anything I can say I liked about this book. The main character is practically perfect for a teenager and her male counterpart might as well had been prince charming. They just didn't seem REAL.

Also, a real problem I had is that I like to get a description of the characters and the world she is creating, I dont want them compared to real life people. Its a poor writing job and if you have to say "He was gorgeous, tall and built with dark hair. He reminded me of Jared Padelecki" we have a problem. That isnt really allowing your audience to create the character and your descriptions suck. Take a writing course and try again.
