A little to prescriptive: every woman fits into one of six personal style categories, is one of six body types, etc. Also many of the subjects that makes the biggest difference in style, like accessories were glossed over. I've read much better books in this genre.

Just skimmed really - I found it hard to work out which category I fell into: while it's great that all skin colours are included, I would have needed more Caucasian faces to identify with (and presumably that would apply to every one). In the end I settled on the category where I was recommended all the colours that appeal to me. The remaining chapters on style etc were not terribly applicable for me as I don't have a work wardrobe and don't even like thinking about the word "pantsuit".
