A wonderfully researched and beautifully published book covering Depeche Mode's entire live in concert story...until today that is! There are so many previously unseen photos, live memorabilia, and even coverage of the rarest live recording bootlegs, that it must have been a gargantuan effort by the authors to gather, organize and incorporate them all. I loved the interviews with people from behind the scenes of their tours and live shows, giving all new perspectives. At the end of the day what we have is the history of a band that has brought so much joy to so many people all around the world through their music and live performances. This is a must-have addition to any fan of Depeche Mode. Bravo!

schöne devotionalien wie tickets, pässe, poster, etliche ungesehene fotos, die qualität der interviews hängt von den interviewten ab, da die fragen etwas schülerzeitungshaftes haben. etwas essentielles fehlt: der band heißt live, aber ausgerechnet das findet nicht statt - keine einzige setlist, keine intellektuelle oder ästhetische auseinandersetzung mit den konzerten. in den texten lediglich bandgeschichte, logistisches, statistiken. der titel ist also irreführend. ein fanzine in buchform. 3,5/5

A book that is a Monument to what has been one of my favorite bands since I was 13 years old: my first concert, my first cassette tapes, the first money invested in a CD and then in more concerts. I think my generation, the one that grew up with them, is the one most fundamentally connected to the history of a group that, pun intended, contributed to the history of music.

Un libro che é un momunento a quello che é stato uno dei miei gruppi preferiti da quando avevo 13 anni: il mio primo concerto, le mie prime cassettine, i primi soldi investiti in un CD e poi in ulteriori concerti. Credo che la mia generazione, quella cresciuta con loro per capirsi, sia quella piú fondamentalmente legata alla storia di un gruppo che, mi si perdoni il gioco di parole, ha fatto la storia.
