Fascinating story of early colonial Africa

I go nd this book both informative and engrossing. The main complaint I have is there were many misprints, but even if it was so. It still was readable.

Really, really good. It is also really, really long. An excellent read for those interested in historical novels ("Gone for Soldiers" et al).

Love this book so far, however I am reading the unedited Kindle version which is difficult at times to follow along. Very good book otherwise.
