It takes a lot for me to DNF a book. Really! It does! I'm usually a victim of my damn curiousity that urges me to continue reading to see if it gets better (it usually never does). But with the case of this book...I just couldn't put myself through it past the 55% mark.

After reading this book, I have have a question for the author.

Really...is it a ghost PNR? A fantasy? A contemporary? A harlequin? Can we pick one and stick to it??

Let's see what this book had.

1. Poor or almost lacking characterization?

2. Boring and at times plain cheesy dialogue?

3. A dream sequence in which the hero appears as a superhero-y masked crusader with a cape?
YEP!

4. A well meaning ghost that likes to bring couples together because of his own tragic history with love (which apparently takes place in dreams, resulting in the hero and heroine having some...well wet dreams)
True story!

Honestly, I couldn't get into the story at all. I couldn't find myself caring for either of the characters. The plot bored me. The writing was very simplistic, cheesy, and had a very harlequin-y feel to it.

"Why can't I see you?" she asked. "I want to thank you properly."
"Won't you kiss me?"

"I - I need to get home." she said.
He nodded as he stepped protectively close. "I'll shield you from harm."

I simply couldn't finish this book. When I got to the halfway mark and can only think

I just cut my losses. So a DNF for me

Will I read another book from this author? Probably not. I didn't enjoy the writing style of this book at all. I just think this is just one of those authors that are just not for me. Not to say that others won't enjoy it...just that I wasn't one of them.

Where do I begin? I'll start off by saying I'm the gal that finishes every book, especially ARCs, no matter the level of crap served up. It's my penance for the questionable decisions I made during my early twenties and I'm good with that. After the third or fourth "dream" sequence where the MC's talk to each other and fondle but can't get out of work mode long enough in the real world to admit their sexy type leanings, I was done. No character development, no drama, no emotion, no actual sex at my 60% DNF mark. Either give me a great story or give me some hot sex. I'd even settle for an alright story and some so so sex that takes place when the characters are both conscious, I'm not picky. This book's part friends to lovers, part interesting ghost story that goes nowhere and part emotional bullshit that's hard to relate to because we really don't get to know these characters. Unfortunately none of it worked for me enough to actually finish the book.

Dream Nights is an interesting twist on the millionaire hot boss who falls for the young up and coming girl.

Wyatt is a very successful business man who is buying and renovating B&B's and making them profitable. Wyatt is all about numbers and spreadsheets. He boils everything down to numbers, including the worth of people.

He has always been a bit of a loner. He is introverted in the extreme. For all of his adult life he has been an extreme workaholic. He has never really dated and the few times he has tried, it ended badly with him being called "cold".

Megan was a free spirited college student working in a B&B until she met Wyatt. He taught her some hard lessons and soon she worked her way up to becoming his right hand. She is determined to make something of herself and she is learning from the best.

Wyatt and Megan have maintained a strictly professional relationship for the past three years. On a business trip to St. Louis, they stay at a B&B that is rumored to be haunted. Both Wyatt and Megan start having vivid dreams. Suddenly they find themselves unable to stop thinking about their carnal dreams of each other and things get a little awkward.

This was a fun and light romantic read with a slight paranormal twist. I would by no means call it a paranormal romance. A large part of the book takes place while the main characters are dreaming.

I really enjoyed the sexual tension that built between Megan and Wyatt. I found his geeky side strangely enduring. I also loved the twists that the story took toward the end. (You will have to read it to see what I mean).

Overall a quick and fun 4 star read.

Megan is the executive assistant to Wyatt, a millionaire hotel and bed and breakfast entrepreneur. While visiting a bed and breakfast in st. Louis that Wyatt is interested in potentially purchasing, Megan starts to have strange dreams that end with an erotic appearance by none other than her sexy boss, Wyatt. Megan maintains professionalism at all times and absolutely loves her job, but she secretly has been crushing on her boss now for nearly all of the three years that she's worked for him.

Unbeknownst to Megan, Wyatt too has been having strange dreams that have Megan fulfilling some of his longest fantasies. Wyatt knows that professionally he can't live without Megan, and even-though he'd often thought of having a personal relationship with Megan, he's been hesitant to risk the successful work relationship that they have.

This story started out with some great potential. I loved reading about the history of the bed and breakfast and the local patrons who visited it. There was even some build up for a great ghost story that was particularly interesting. Sadly, the potential fell flat for me. True the main focus of the sorry was Megan and Wyatt and their shared dreams, but there were many other points introduced that were left unanswered a s made me question why they has been mentioned in the first place.

The author started out with a great voice full of catchy dialog and some good humor too, about two thirds into the story, I felt like the author got tired and just wanted to hurry things along to the end. Parts of the story were rushed over and other parts took way too long.

The love scenes, again, had lots of potential. Obviously these two had some great chemistry, so I was eagerly anticipating a smoking hit payoff, sadly, no sizzling between the sheets action.

A quick easy read, but not one I would rush out to purchase or recommend reading right away. The author has great potential in the genre I think, but there were too many loose ends and not enough action in the bedroom for my liking. Two stars.

I loved this book, however it was a little on the short side and felt more like a long novella as it really didn't take that long to read. I wasn't expecting the paranormal aspect to the story but it really added something to it.

At the end of this book i had a grin on my face (before the epilogue). The dialogue is good and at times humorous. The writer really takes you into the story and you actually believe the emotions that the characters are displaying. It doesn't ring as unbelievable or forced.

The writer has a natural talent for bringing across the emotions of her characters.

A really good read.

Never has there been a more apt title than Entangled’s Dream Nights with the CEO by Kathy Lyons. This novel, which alternately takes place between the realm of dreams and in reality, requires readers to suspend disbelief and embrace the paranormal elements at work.

The story follows Megan Bradford, the plucky and hardworking personal assistant to Wyatt Monroe, the blunt, yet brilliant CEO to a successful hotel chain. Despite being on opposite ends of the personality spectrum, the pair has worked well together for years, ignoring their attraction to each other for the sake of professionalism. It isn’t until they find themselves inexplicably co-starring in a series of shared erotic dreams that they begin to explore the possibility of a romantic relationship.

There’s nothing like an honest to goodness ghost story to bring two people together emotionally… and physically. I felt as if I was watching an episode of Ghost Hunters, Miranda’s Place B&B edition, except with more attractive hosts and actual spiritual contact. There are even a few goosebump-inducing moments peppered through the book, although the creepiness factor was exponentially heightened by the fact that I was reading the book before bed. In the dark.

Like the rest of the Brazen line, Dream Nights with the CEO is told through dual narratives by Megan and Wyatt. It’s a wonder the two ever managed to get any work done with all the sexual tension crackling between them, although it’s an admittedly strange pairing at first glance, with Megan’s free-spirited nature often clashing with Wyatt’s loner tendencies. The amalgamation of Megan’s horror film-inspired nightmares and Wyatt’s comic book-related fantasies make for some interesting dreamscapes.

Dream Nights with the CEO is an enjoyable and entertaining read with a mishmash of historical, paranormal and romantic elements that combine to make for an original new addition to Entangled’s Brazen line. I loved the book in general, although I would’ve preferred less interaction with Megan’s mother, who had the misfortune of reminding me of Mrs. Bennett from Pride and Prejudice. As protagonists, Megan and Wyatt are both sweet and sexy and I can’t wait to learn more about the next couple to be featured in the Secret Desires series.

Dream Nights with the CEO
3 Stars

Megan Bradford loves her job as executive assistant to wealthy hotel magnet, Wyatt Monroe. The only thing she loves more is Wyatt himself, but would never dare to jeopardize their working relationship by revealing her feelings. Unbeknownst to Megan, Wyatt is just an enamored with her, but refuses to cross the line between employer and employee until the night they visit a supposedly haunted B&B and set out on a course that will change their lives forever…

Dream Nights with a CEO is eerily similar to one of my all time favorite romance novels, Time After Time by Billie Green. Both books contain two of my absolute favorite themes - office romance and shared dreams.

While Kathy Lyons’s book is sexy and spicy, it lacks the emotional intensity of Green’s version. Megan and Wyatt are sweet together, but their attraction doesn’t hold a candle to the incredible sexual tension and chemistry that characterizes Leah and Paul’s romance. There is also no real conflict to overcome as Megan and Wyatt readily accept the changes in their professional relationship.

The inclusion of a secondary plotline involving Megan’s difficult relationship with her mother adds little to the story. In contrast, the tale of the ghost and his matchmaking tendencies has a great deal of potential, which is sadly underdeveloped.

All in all, a quick and light read, however, for those interested in a truly spectacular story with the same tropes, I highly recommend Billie Green’s work.

This was quite the interesting book! I have to admit that I didn't read any reviews before starting it so the ghostly aspect took me by complete surprise. I loved it! I also have to admit that I have yet to jump on the millionaire-falls-for-his-employee(or whomever) bandwagon, so this was a great way to dip my toes in the pool, so to speak. Wyatt, said millionaire, CEO of a chain of B&B's and his longtime assistant and friend Megan are checking out the latest B&B to be acquired when they both start having some pretty erotic dreams. Er, that is, they're having the same dream, unbeknownst to each other. This creates some pretty delicious sexual tension between the two as they start to realize they have more than platonic feelings for each other. It also creates some humorous situations as they don't realize the other is feeling the same way. It was fun to read! ;) I really enjoyed the paranormal aspect too. I can't recall having enjoyed ghost stories so much in the past, and I think I have just entered a new reading phase! This is my first from this author and I really enjoyed her style! Everything was done so well, from the characters to the detailed dream descriptions, and lets not forget the legends of the Pirate Captain! I definitely had a hard time putting this one down! I will definitely be reading more books from Ms. Lyons!

Megan Bradford is having an interesting dream - what an interesting way to start the book. It certainly caught my attention. My dreams aren't as interesting as Megan's. Wyatt Monroe is her boss and he is having the same problem as Megan.

As I'm reading the book we find out that Megan and Wyatt are staying at the Miranda's Place B & B. It's run by a young woman named Bethany. I found that Bethany has an interesting story of her own. I would love to know if Kathy will be writing her story.

Megan and Wyatt have an intriguing connection that comes at an interesting time of day. Makes me wish that I had that type of connection with my partner. How about you? Kathy has given her readers dreaming with a twist. It also makes you wonder if we can control our dreams so that we get the outcome we want.

This is a book that you will find that you just can't put it down until you reach the end. Kathy grabs your attention starting with the first dream. If you're a paranormal romance junkie you could pick up a copy of this book because there is some unexplained reason for the connection between Megan and Wyatt. I'm looking forward to seeing what Kathy has in store for her readers in the next Dream Nights series. With all the dream sequences that she wrote in this book, I'm all set with my dreams until her next book comes out.

While reading this book, I have got to say, the dreams are SMOKIN HOT!!! While the first dreams that Wyatt and Megan have do not contain sex, the chemistry between the two of them is off the charts. It seems as though they both want the same thing, but neither of them is sure how to act upon it.

I really enjoyed reading this book and watching how Wyatt and Megan worked together, despite their feelings towards the other. I think the ghost twist was done so well, it didn’t over take the book, but added to it in the slight ways. The story went along smoothly without any real issues that would cause a misunderstanding.

And the twist with the dreams??? That was so great! I couldn’t believe what one simple object could help show two people that they both wanted the same thing!! And while the dream sex was amazing, while they were awake, that was even hotter!

All in all, I have to say I was greatly pleased with this book and I would recommend it to any of my friends who are looking for a good read!

Wyatt and Megan are able to resist their chemistry until they spend the night in a “haunted” B&B Wyatt is considering purchasing to add to his B&B chain. While there they begin sharing dreams. The dreams are shades of superhero fantasy and silly to the extreme. Megan’s love of horror movies and Wyatt’s love of comic books definitely color their sleeping activities. You can’t help but laugh as you begin to root for these characters to find their HEA. The dreams allow them to work out their issues as they never could wide awake.

There isn’t anything to detract from Megan and Wyatt’s relationship in this book. There isn’t a mystery or outside force trying to push them apart. This is all Megan and Wyatt. While not all authors could manage such a focused storyline, Lyons is able to handle it masterfully. I thoroughly enjoyed spending time with Megan and Wyatt in their dream world. I only hope there will be more dreams to come.

The CEO & his Personal Assistant with a twist. Hotel chain CEO Wyatt Monroe has had a crush on his PA Megan Bradford since he met her. She has worked for him for three years when they take a work trip to a haunted B&B. They start sharing increasingly intimate dreams. Can they make those dreams a reality without ruining their working relationship?
This is a terrific contemporary romance with a touch of the paranormal. Ghosts, shared dreams and action heroes can be super sexy. Who knew? The author took a played out trope and made it exciting and new. I look forward to seeing what comes next in this new series.

\A sweet love story with a matchmaking ghost. Don't worry, it's not exactly a paranormal romance; I know a lot of people aren't fans of that genre.

Well developed and intriguing characters are the heart of this story. I loved how the author wove folklore into the story to help give the environment more depth and the lessons taught to the characters are ones that everyone would benefit from.

Dream Nights With The CEO is well written, fun, and witty. If your looking for a sweet romance to talk away your bad week, pick up this book and settle in. You won't be disappointed!

Though I've read Jade Lee, this was my first book by her alter ego Kathy Lyons. It's the story of Wyatt and Megan. He's a sexy CEO with an eye on the end goal of his various projects. She's his personal assistant who emulates him and his professional focus. As they go from one bed and breakfast to another looking for their next project, the attraction between them soon becomes too much to ignore.

This story has a light paranormal thread to it that is very well done. I loved the characters and their interaction. Wyatt is a great hero and not too over the top. Very hot sex scenes and great sexual tension. I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves a good romance.

CEO Wyatt Monroe and his employee Megan Bradford have both been having erotic dreams about one another but can two professionals cross the lines from boss/employee to lovers?

This was different I thought it dragged a bit. I wish there was a bit more setup with chemistry between the characters, it gets there eventually though. I think if you like office romance stories with a twist it is worth picking up.

I found this book so hard to review. I enjoyed reading it, it was well written, short with an interesting premise however it was too unrealistic for me and my narrow minded ways.

Megan has been an assistant to Wyatt a B&B entrepreneur for 3 years. Their relationship is strictly professional however they both begin having shared dreams after staying in an apparently haunted B&B. The dreams are erotic and tackle personal issues but both make the pair look at each other differently.

I do not believe in the paranormal at all so this idea although interesting was just impossible for me to believe in. Also I am not keen on people knowing each other for years then suddenly falling in love and sprouting the line 'I've loved you from the moment I met you'.

One thing I did find refreshing was Wyatt. He is not the usual arrogant, man-whore usually featured in these kinds of books. He is actually sweet and caring and a complete nerd. (also a little submissive)

There are some good steamy scenes but nothing out of the ordinary sex wise.

I think these characters would have worked better in a 'just met scenario' But I think we were suppose to appreciate how in tune they were with each other. Also Megan's mother's storyline felt unnecessary.

If you believe in ghost etc... you will have a better chance of enjoying all elements of this book than I did at this. It is a short read with a decent mystery and sweet romance.

A lot of this book takes place in dreams ~ Megan has worked for Wyatt for some time, and had secret fantasies since the day she met him. But she's determined to keep it professional, because she wants to succeed so badly. Wyatt has just given up on women in general ~ he's been called cold so many times he's decided he just must be. But there is NOTHING cold about the way he feels about Megan.
And when he starts having wickedly sexy dreams about Megan, it's all he can do to NOT make them come true...
Megan can't hardly look Wyatt in the face after the sexily REAL dreams she's been having of him.
But she's already decided it's time for her to get a promotion, and become more of a partner to him than an assistant, so no way is she ready to mix sex in her plans.

I SO enjoyed this! I loved how Kathy Lyons portrayed obstacles Megan and Wyatt saw in their lives, in thier dreams. I loved that Megan and Wyatt enjoyed and listened to one another, and that they really knew each other SO much better than either realized. They both are having the same thoughts, but they've also both thrown so many obstacles in their own way it's become a huge wall to get over.
Mix in a mysterious ghost at the B&B who decides to give their connection a little push,
and this story was pure fairy tale come alive!

Kathy Lyons is Jade Lee writing contemporary, and I for one am so glad!

I wasn't sure about this one when I first started it. To be honest, I was a little bored with the dream-smut/relationship/attraction. Which took up about half of the book. But the second half more than made up for it for me. I'm one of those cheesy girls who loves pregnancy stories, so this one was right up my alley.

So what's it about? Let me tell you.

Megan has been working for Wyatt for years. They have a great working relationship; a great friendship. They have chemistry. And though neither of them sees it at first, they're kind of perfect for each other. After these two travel to a new B&B Wyatt's looking to purchase, the dreams begin, and soon these two aren't just dreaming about being together--it's actually happening. But Megan doesn't want to lose the best boss she's ever had, and Wyatt doesn't want to give up the best assistant, either. One mistake makes the choice for them, though, and soon it becomes less about why and more about when.

Wyatt made me swoon, and Megan wasn't a doormat. Two good things for sure! My only complaints were the slow start and the quick ending. I would have liked to know more about Wyatt and Megan's future. Other than that, this was an enjoyable read. If you're into the happily ever after with babies and bows, this one's definitely for you!

Dream Nights with the CEO is a sexy, witty mixture of romance and the paranormal. Kathy Lyons (AKA Jade Lee) does a wonderful job of combining humor, romance, and the paranormal to create an entertaining read. Her ability to blur the lines between reality and the dream world was thoroughly enjoyable.

Megan Bradford, assistant to hotel chain CEO and sinfully, sexy Wyatt Monroe, shares a terrific working relationship with her boss, but also shares a secret, mutual attraction that neither one is willing to reveal. On a business trip to St. Louis to assess the acquisition of a new B&B, Megan and Wyatt share the same erotic wet dreams with the help of the local ghost. But neither Megan nor Wyatt is willing to reveal the scorching sexual attraction that is fast burning out of control. As their mutual dreams become steamier, the heat ignites threatening to explode and reveal their secrets.

This book contains hot chemistry, palpable sexual tension, humor, paranormal elements, and sizzling romance. If you enjoy reading erotic romance cleverly combined with the paranormal and the added elements of humor, then this is a book you definitely want to read.

I really enjoyed Dreams Nights With The CEO. Entangled has done it again with this new tale from author Kathy Lyons. From the very first page, I was drawn into the world of Wyatt Monroe and Megan Bradford. The story is rich with page-turning sexual tension and enough funny bits to have you wonder what's going to happen next.

Megan is a strong heroine without the hardened kick-butt edge, which makes her all the more human. Readers will truly identify with her determination and strength, which is nicely balanced with her humanity. Wyatt is the classic hot alpha male with a fresh new twist. I loved the way our author got into the head of each of these characters and showed me how each of the grappled with their days and nights together. Watching their relationship grow and change had me rooting for them and their HEA!

The complimentary elements of the paranormal, humor, and spice gave me a unique look into their world, and the intimate character points of view gave Dream Nights a novel look at an established story line. In a nutshell, it's a fast, steamy read that shows opposites do indeed attract! Check it out.

I really enjoyed this story. I got it as a Net Galley preview in return for an honest review, and I was thrilled that I did.

This is a story about millionaire and Bed & Breakfast owner Wyatt Monroe and his assistant, Megan Bradford. They were thinking of buying a haunted B&B and were spending several nights there. During that time, they both had the same erotic dreams about each other but didn't know it. They were very attracted to each other but didn't want to jeopardize their business relationship. This story was very interesting and it showed how they worked through their problems. I would definitely recommend this book if you are a fan of the paranormal.

Kathy Lyons (AKA Jade Lee) has written a very sexy, funny and erotic story. The love of Megan Bradford and Wyatt Monroe, her boss, is kept hidden from each other. Neither wants to spoil their working relationship. That is until they fall asleep and have the same erotic dreams. Superheroes and passion combine to scorch the pages. Add to this a paranormal presence and you have a very erotic novel with a touch of tenderness. If you enjoy a sassy and sexy romance with a HEA, you will love this book. I was lucky enough to receive a copy from this author. I'm so glad that I did. Her writing is fun and is filled with characters that you love.

This is my first read from this author, love the concept of the story and the cover is tamed but sexy!

At first, I have to admit that in first few pages of the book it was quite silly- with all the superhero cape sexual dreams their having.. but eventually it got me and I finished it in one sitting! Can't help but to love the characters, they're witty and adorable that in the second half of the book I was just rooting for them! It's a fast paced fun read and I enjoyed it very much!

If you're looking for an easy read romance then I highly recommend this book!

What have we here? Fun, frothy, in love with her geeky, hot genius boss. Loved it. A lot of the action in this one takes placed in shared dreams but they are spicey nerdy fun with superheros. She is a crafting geek so that is fun too. If you are looking for a light read, this will perk you right up. The blurb really isn't not right on. It is much better and much less trite.

I am so excited to have discovered this publisher, Entangled. Every book I have read so far has been very good and fairly priced. Yea!

What a fun book to read!
Sexy dreams shared by Megan and her CEO boss Wyatt. Helped along by the ghost of the B&B they are looking into buying, their eyes are opened to the possibility of maybe more than the boss and employee relationship they have now. Steamy dreams and fun dialog between the two. Great read!!

Umm, I have no words.

So we have dream superhero sex, a ghost, cheesy dialog and a so so plot. Did I mention the superhero sex that take place while the main characters are dreaming? We can’t forget that!

I’m sorry, I love Entangled’s Brazen books because they provide a quick read with yummy, sexy times, interesting characters and an easy, intriguing plot line. This story had only one of those attributes. It was a quick read, which I’m extremely grateful for.

Theis story definitely had potential. In the beginning, both Megan and Wyatt started as great characters to get to know. The sexy millionaire and the geeky assistant made for a great pairing. The author started strong. I enjoyed the dialogue and humor mix and was intrigued to see these two ending together in the end. However, things started going downhill. And I’m not talking about the superhero sex dreams either. Those were actually hot and showcased the chemistry these two would have if they got together. I’m talking about the ghost. I don’t read about ghosts, I stay away from them. I don’t care to have ghosts in my stories. So that was the end of the story for me. I lost all interest.

Definitely not the story for me.
