I Love reading books about the Amish and their simply life. There is one more book in the series of three which I'm going to start just as soon as I'm done writing this review. This shows just how much I've enjoyed it so far!!

Quilters Son book 2, great story....

I enjoyed the authors tale of a Amish Woman's struggles with her engagement to a man of a different culture, and his past. The author did a great job of telling her story.

Different

This book by Samantha Bayard is different from mmm ist Amish romances. It is set in an add-on Amish community. It is very emotional as an unknown son comes into the story 3 weeks before Lydia's wedding day

There is no depth to the stories. There is no character development, and the same things get said repeatedly. This series could have been so good if the characters and the story were really expounded on and developed.

I don't feel this book or series has much of anything to do with Christian, God, Amish or anything of the kind. Disappointed for sure. Not a bad book but books 3 & 4 are even worse and none of them have anything to do with a true Amish book.

MY REVIEW
Lydia and Steve's story is just as enjoyable as Liam and Lucy's, with quite a different twist. For a short story Samantha does a great job of getting everything in and makes you want to move on to the next book right away.

I loved it! I couldn't put the book down. I had to get the answers. Like what kind of secrets Steve has in his pass. Only weeks before the wedding and Steve's pass comes to face him. Will his pass make Lydia change his mind? All I can say is get the book it is great all the answers are there. Looking forward to book Three. I sense a new romance to happen!!!

Almost an epilogue to book one as I read it on one evening. It was google to find out what happened to these characters that were introduced in book one.

Short,not very detailed plot

There could have been a lot more to the story. Good short read if you want something simple but needs more.

Lydia's Heart is the second book written by Samantha Bayarr in her The Quilters Son series. I enjoyed reading this book however I feel it was really rushed and could have offered the reader a bit more of a story.

The characters were likeable and realistic. The storyline is one that deals in second chances and forgiveness. It also teaches us that sometimes your past actions can come back to you.

I was not given a complimentary copy of this book to read and review. I have rated this book with four stars for meeting my expectations of a wonderful story that i can recommend to all those who love the Amish genre.

Congratulations to Samantha Jillian Bayarr on her The Quilters Son series. I will be watching for more releases by this author.
