A master of the craft shows us how to improve our paintings. The photos added a great deal to my understanding of the techniques being demonstrated.
Unfortunately, Charles Reid just passed away this month.

This is a very useful book on how to make a painting better than what you're actually seeing before you. The book provides many examples of how to do this to good effect. Recommended.
