This was an okay book for my 4-year-old but we've read better "counting" books. It's a rhyming book that starts with 10 little lambs who won't go to sleep and it counts down as one drops off to sleep. My child wasn't into it at all so I had him start finding the one lamb who was going to go to sleep next (the one yawning).
What?!?! "Pour all your toys on the floor, build a skyscraper with oatmeal and paper, paint swirling oceans with lipsticks and lotions"? Not what I want my toddler seeing and not having any consequences. I realize it was meant to be in fun but I did not like the message at all. I wanted to like it but couldn't.
