This one was a little better than the first one. At least she stopped using “hmm?” As much but it’s still all over. It moves super slow though, as the first book burned through 17 different plot lines.

On to the third I guess.

This is book 2 of the Promethan Fae series. I thought book 1, Court of Sun, was good. K.M. Mixon really blew the roof off with book 2, Court of Moon! With saying that, I’m ready for book three 🥺 Reading about the FMC going from this “little” person to the bada$$ she transform from is amazing! Not only is Milana changing, but the realm is starting to go downhill. A lot went on within this book, and there is a lot more spice than book 1 😏 I was constantly wanting more, and more was definitely delivered! There’s a lot of twist and turns that will make you not be able to put it down! Also, I can’t forget to mention that in the beginning of the book, it gives you a little “Previously in the Promethan Fae series” intro, like if you were to watch a show! It really helped me to remember what went on within the first book, without having to refresh myself with a couple of chapters. It made it so much easier to jump right into it!

People will read litterally anything with a lot of smutty scenes and rate is 5 stars.
The writing and storybuilding in this book is not good. This series seems like the author wrote it and published without proofreading because it does not flow well.
The story-line in this book has completely strayed away from the post-apocalyptic theme promised in the first book. It feels like the first part of book one and this book are not even in the same universe.
The smut scenes in this book are well written, but it seems like everything else in between is just fluff trying to get from one sex scene to another.
Also, the fact that one of the characters who was completely loyal in the first book (even in thoughts and actions) is now a bad guy? It feels as though the author thought the book needed more drama and just need to throw that in. Like it litterally makes no sense for him to do a complete 180.

I was so excited to read this after the cliffhanger in the first one. And let me tell you… it did NOT disappoint! The spice in this is 5🌶️ and the plot is 5⭐️

I absolved loved how she started the book with previously on…. More authors need to do this as it helps us readers kind of remember all the important areas of the previous book.

I love me some Anwynn and Milana! To be wanted and loved and cherished like they do each other is out of this world! He may be the Dark King but he’ll always kneel for his Queen.

I loved learning more about Latamier and getting introduced to Elvenia. I’m so glad Milana actually found a true friend that she can be herself around and actually trust.

Let’s talk about the end… the cliffhanger has me counting down the days til the next one AGAIN!! I’m so glad I started this series and I can not wait to read the next one!

As it is for sequels, it's a bit harder to review without spoilers, so this is going to be shorter than usual.
So much is happening in this book. It's crazy. Reveals and twists are shaking hands. If you think you finally got behind a character, you'll be proven wrong. It's highly frustrating 🤣 but so so so good.
This fantasy world seems to be huge and getting more fascinating from page to page, and I can't wait to read how this will play out in the end. K.M. Mixon has a unique way of writing and sucking you into every world and scenario she writes. I highly recommend her books, especially this series!

This book is literally Court of Sun but on drugs. So so so so good! Literally I bought the physical copies because I need them in my life. I will eventually reread this series, especially when book 3 comes out. Which is when? Tomorrow? I wish! This series is phenomenal and written so well. I originally wanted to give this book a 4.75 star rating because sometimes there is so much new info but then I realized after a few hours of thinking about it that damn… I’ve just been reading books with one singular world and this has multiple realms. So of course my brain can’t process it as fast. It’s just so so well written. The world building is 5⭐️. The characters are 5⭐️ (even when they piss me off - looking at you Axis!!) The spice is 🥵 Overall you NEED to read this series!!!

The first book sets the scene for this series. Yet, with this book, let all the steamy goodness come. I liked this book a lot more than the first. Not just for the spice but the storyline had a lot more happening as well.

What is better than one man...two. Anwynn and Axis are dreamy. Milana is one very lucky Fae. While I still like Anwynn having Axis in the mix does add a nice extra touch to the dynamics. Milana is growing stronger, and it is great to see her transform. Milana is sure has been on a journey. I can't wait to read book three.

This second installment in The Promethean Fae series picks right back up where we left off in Court of Sun, which returning readers will rejoice in! And y’all, K.M. Mixon really brought the fire from the very beginning this time around! She is SPI-I-ICY, but oh the burn is delightful.

There is plenty of heat throughout, but the emotions really come out and hold their own as well. I love these characters, but I have a feeling—THANKS TO ANOTHER JAW DROPPING CLIFF HANGER ENDING, that their journey is far from over— and I cannot WAIT to see where all the chips fall in the end.

Action, adventure, romance— what’s not to love? These books only get BETTER.

This book laid a good bit of ground work for Milana so it started kind of slow and it took me a little bit to get into it but stick with it because that ending!!!!! I know something good like that was gonna happen. I can't wait for the release of book 3 because I need to see what happens next. Anwynn has grown on me since book 1. I'm kind of bummed the route Axis has taken I know there's a secret reason that's definitely gonna come out in book 3 and I can't wait because I loved him and need the redemption.

Court of Sun was already so so good, but Court of Moon is even better!

This book is incredibly spicy in the best way and it also has an amazing plot.

This book sucked me in and left me reeling and needing more!

I cannot wait to see more of Milana and what more we will discover of the Promethean and the realms!

This series has my heart in a vice!
I love how we pick up right where we left off in Court of Sun. Seeing who Milana needs to help her through her emergence. I love watching the relationship develop between Anwynn and her as well. There’s so many different twists and turns along the way. And beware the cliff!!

Really great read! It was such a page-turner and kept my attention from the getgo. I couldn't put the book down. I finished it pretty quickly, since it kept me intrigued. Loved the characters and the the world it took place in. Definitely will read again.

Court of Moon, Milana is going through her emergence. With Axis and Anwynn by her side...Spicy things happen. (And boy, do they happen throughout the book.) I soaked in every word of this book. All I can say is I need book 3 now! Loved loved loved it! I recommend K.M. Mixon to everyone!

If you loved Court of Sun, you're going to totally fall in love with Court of Moon! Lots of plot twists and turns, love the Fated mates aspect of it, the spice is there and so is the beautifully done cliffhanger to make you look forward to book 3.

To the lords was the second book in the promethean fae devilishly good. From the spice (5🌶️) to every twist and turn as both Milana and her dark king work through their rapidly declining realms, there is no shortage of immersion.

The entire time I was at the edge of my seat waiting for the next omg moment or plot twist; and let me say each one was more fabulous than the last. Beware of the cliffhanger 😭 it’s already put me in a slump.

Multiple grammatical errors. Too many 1st person narratives going on. A ton of smut (3.5 🌶️). Story does evolve more, world building improved in the 2nd book. Still uses “hmmm?” way too much, and unnecessarily. I will read the last book, because I purchased it. I can appreciate what the author was putting together, there’s just something off about the execution.
