It was a really good book full of facts that blew my mind. I loved to read about things I never knew before, and to learn about all the achievements that people reached, and it was really fun to read because it has lots of pictures and facts and it's a great book for people who like non-fiction.

The 2013 world records were pretty interesting & some were quite odd. 90s babies will concur that Scholastic unlocks some core joyful memories.

The Scholastic 2013 book of world records is written for children from the ages of 8-12 years. It includes more than three-hundred world records from 2013 including such topics as sports, science, celebrities, technology, music, and many more. It includes at least one record from each of the 50 states. The book includes both facts and images to support the facts.

While reading this book I learned many new facts about the USA that I did not know before. I feel that the layout, images, colors, and topics in this book would be very appealing to children from the ages of 8-12 years. This book would also be appealing to adults who enjoying learning about current world records. I researched many of the records that were mentioned in this book and found the information in the book to be correct. The Scholastic 2013 book of world records would be interesting for a child to read but would also provide relief to the parent because their child is learning some new facts.

I rated this book 5/5 because it is appealing to both children and adults and provides children with an opportunity to learn new facts while they enjoy reading a book.

I don't really get why these books are interesting. I know we have to have books for both ends of the spectrum and this is one of those. My only argument against this book is the way it is organized. There is no rhyme or reason for the order making it less likable the what Guiness Records does. I could be swayed either way for this one.
