Wisdom of the House of Night Oracle Cards

For the fans of the best-selling House of Night series, the Wisdom of the House of Night Oracle Cards provides a unique interactive experience with the vampyre Goddess Nyx. Packaged in a keepsake box with a guidebook, the deck contains fifty gorgeously illustrated cards, many of which are based on characters in the books.

To begin, simply ask Nyx a question: What should I do in this situation? What is going on with my relationship? What will result from my next action? Then select a card and consult the guidebook to discover the message that Nyx intends for you. Just like Zoey Redbird and the other fledglings of the House of Night, you will be encouraged to trust your intuition and make powerful decisions about your life!

The Wisdom of the House of Night Oracle Cards is an original divination system, created by P. C. Cast and oracle expert Colette Baron-Reid. It draws inspiration from the Tarot, Norse runes, and the I Ching, but no special expertise is required to use these cards. The illustrations are by digital artist Jena DellaGrottaglia.

About the author

PC was born in the Midwest, and grew up being shuttled back-and-forth between Illinois and Oklahoma, which is where she fell in love with Quarter Horses and mythology (at about the same time). After high school, she joined the United States Air Force and began public speaking and writing. After her tour in the USAF, she taught high school for 15 years before retiring to write full time. PC is a #1 New York Times and #1 USA Today Best-Selling author and a member of the Oklahoma Writers Hall of Fame. I absolutely love the House Of Night Series. so when I found out there was a house of night other world series and even better oracle cards featuring Nyx from the amazing House Of Night Series. Inside the set contains fifty beautifully illustrated oracle cards and easy to follow directions from the guide book to ask the Vampyre Goddess Nyx questions. For a little guidance in your life. i knew as soon as this existed and had to have a set. this is an absolute must have for any fans of the House Of Night Series.

Aimed at teenagers, the target market of the series, the description of the cards are short, simplistic and clearly aimed at readers without prior knowledge of Wicca, occult or Greek mythology. However, this doesn't make them any less poignant or effective. And the advanced reader of oracle cards will be able to intuitively delve further and deeper. I have found these cards to be quite powerful and easy to connect to. Knowing the characters in this fiction series is helpful to tune into the energies but not a must. It's a lovely deck to delve deeper into your shadows with and the artwork is quite beautiful, too.

The images are stunning, the guide book that comes with it is simple. my only true disappointment is the hinting story line that she teases the readers with. i read tarot cards and oracles, so i'm generally more update with those than young adult fiction hence why i found the deck. the images alone are super stunning if slightly out of context with the "names". i however don't have an issue reading the oracle without knowing the deeper context of the series. i do wish that there was some commentary in the guidebook about the fact is connected to the other series. other than that one thing, it's an awesome deck!

Fair warning, I am not a fan of the House of Night book series.

The cards with this are gorgeous, they are thick and sturdy. The images are beautiful. And I love the silver edging.

The book is...well, I'm a 35 year old woman, married with kids. The book is for teenage girls, very firmly. It feels a bit over the top to me.

That said I still love this deck. And will use it, because the cards themselves are wonderful.
