Kiexiza Rodriquez, (pronounced Ki-eek-sa, or Kie, like Pie), is the eldest of ten children, a married mother of four, who resides in her home town of Springfield, MA.

Kie, as most people call her, realized early on the importance of a pen and a blank piece of paper. She was able to express how she was feeling when life proved to be too hard to endure. Over time her love for the creative arts turned into a passion. She honed her skills in the culinary arts, soared at creative writing, finding joy in being able to express her inner most emotions through these avenues. By the time she left high-school she left w/o a diploma and gave birth to a son shortly thereafter. She received her G.E.D. a few years later, never allowing her circumstances to remove her smile. She keeps it firmly on her face daily despite what storms may be brewing.

As survivor of childhood abuse, she witnessed violence between her parents and then became a victim of it herself, as an adult. Kie has survived storms that at times she wonders how she weathered. A strength she never knew existed seemed to present itself and enabled her to lift her head and continue forward. She now knows that was her heavenly Father giving her strength.

Kie, found a way to incorporate her love for the creative arts and make it a business. She's spent tge last thirty years in the entertainment industry working for different companies such as; Reflections Emporium, Woo Bear Promotions, GumboLive, The City Beat Magazine, and DiamondStar Entertainment, assisting them with; marketing & promotions, A&R, event planning, street team promotions, and administrative work across the New England area.

After many of those around her insisted that she had a testimony to share, she decided to weite down her personal story of survival and share it with the world. The result was her first book Beautiful.
Kiexiza’s goal for her novels is to create more than a simple fictional story. Her stories aspire to entertain and provide life lessons mixed into the drama, humor, mystery and romance of her characters journey. She’s crafted a series of novels, entitled the "BEAUTIFUL Mess Series," in which she hopes to share some of her world, in a realistic yet, fictional way.

After self publishing, and then being signed to several publishers that didn't work out, she along with her management decided to return to self publishing. In 2017, the family returned to Massachusetts after six years in Virginia due to some major health issues with Kie. sshortly thereafter she picked up her pen and republished books one and two and is almost ready to release book three with book four halfway written. This series has been a long journey. But it promises to be well worth the wait.

Kiexiza, along with fellow author and friend Elizabeth Funferbrik-Rowe, Co-Founded of Saving Lives Through Lit, a NPO who hope it was, to publish books tin order to assist Domestic Violence shelters across America. To bring awareness to the fact that everyone, whether man, woman or child deserves to live in a safe environment. In 2011, together with 28 other authors ranging from age 12 to 50, complied the anthology “Voices Behind the Tears.”
She is also in the anthology, Untapped: a collection of erotic firsts, published by Naughty Ink Press.” Which was her break out story into a new genre.

Kiexiza has been a contributing writer and or book reviewer, to Writers-Vibe, Mashawn.com, So Fyh Magazine, Editing Couture, and Dream4More. She has been interviewed by, submitted stories or articles for publication to TheCEOMama, Soulful Nights, Christian Women Lifestyles Xpress, On The Rise Magazine, SheliaGlossBlog, Sormag, The City Beat Magazine, SizzlePopin Radio, and many others.

"I really enjoyed this Novel "Beautiful" by Kiexiza Tashua Rodriquez, for me I believe that Tierra (Ti) was a woman that had dealt with so much pain from her past.

That she really became numb to any kind of relationship other than her family and close childhood friends and then she was very careful of what she shared with them, the fear of not wanting them to pass judgement on her.

This was a love/romance story of a hardworking woman that had been suffering in silence for so long, that when she decides to allow herself to feel something for a guy she knew deep in her gut it was just all wrong.

Tierra then is faced to deal with the issues of being sexually assaulted, and having trust issues to even complicate things. She finds herself confused on the edge of losing the little sanity that she still has and finds herself on the couch with a therapist.

She had even given up on God, because to her in her eyes God had given up on her by allowing the horrible things in her life happen. There's Qu the boy next door the one person she trusted with her life, he had been her protector all their childhood.

Whenever you saw Tierra (Ti) you saw Qu. Deep inside Tierra's torn heart she knew that her bestfriend Qu had feelings for her, but she was running from the truth, that she had strong feelings for him, but was afraid.

They shared almost everything, until somethings are revealed in the heat of rage. This novel "Beautiful" was by far a page turner, I had to keep changing positions as I curled up with novel. One things is for sure "Beautiful" will make you laugh, cry, and you wonder about the power of prayer, and faith in God and even have you to re-think what kind of relationship you have with God in the time of need and even make your heart skip a few beats just thinking about what will happen next.

I again enjoyed every single page, and the characters will keep you guessing as to what will they do. I'm looking forward to and is so anxious and to ready to read the sequel. I'm going to have to give Kiexiza Rodriquez 5 stars!

I highly recommend this book

My Review:

I was the lucky winner of a contest that the author put on for this story. What I had to do was read a little blurb about Tierra and her boss. I had to write what I thought was in the envelope and when she should get the envelope. I was really shocked that I won! Sorry, but I am not going to tell you what was in the envelope! You have to read the story for yourself!

Tierra and Qu were always the best of friends, but things happened and they lost touch. Their friendship was no ordinary one either. They were so close that they called themselves PB&J because she was the peanut butter and he was the jelly. I was glad they finally reconnected. Who is Beautiful you ask? Well she wasn't exactly who I thought she was, but she is the woman in Qu's life. It was actually because of her that Tierra and Qu get reunited.

Tierra had issues with God. She was just so mad at him and would not speak to him. She went to church and heard this message:

"The Lord speaks to each one of us in different ways. He may use your mother, your sister, your child, or even your boss. He might even use an unbeliever. God never said his messages would come in nicely wrapped packages from your pastor," the pastor could be heard saying from inside the packed church. "God doesn't do things the way WE want them done. He does things the way we NEED them done, so he can get out of us what holds us back, what keeps us from him. He wants to help us reach the next level. He sends us what we need, when we need it, in HIS time. We are on his schedule, not the other way around." (Kindle Loc. 1085-90)

I loved this book. The characters were great and so was the story. The thing though about this book that really drew me in was the messages about faith. It is so important to bring God into our lives. Sometimes you might wonder if he even answers your prayers, but this is an example of how he really does answer prayers.

I must say that reading this book by Ms. Rodriquez has been an immense pleasure, and all I can say is... AWESOME!! It is always the unsung authors that seem to embody the most talent... and Ms. Rodriquez may be unsung today, but she has a BEST SELLER here in my opinion - the world WILL know of her, and her incredible talent, very soon!

I definitely wasn't expecting the roller-coaster ride that the characters in this book take you on, but it has been a most enjoyable ride! Ms. Rodriguez fleshes out these characters in such a way that they just grab you by the hand and pull you through their world at TOP SPEED!! These passionate, multi-faceted folks take you on a journey that will leave you simply breathless! They bring you directly into the crazy, unpredictable world of Sasha, Qu, Tierra, Malcolm & Vito - you may THINK you can guess the outcome of the situations the players in this WILD web of intrigue, twists & turns knit together for you... but alas, you are shockingly averted - and sometimes blown away - from your own conclusions as you continue to be guided through every twist & turn of this amazing read. I don't want to give the plot away, but I just have to say one thing.... Sasha is that character you can't easily figure out or get out of your mind!

It's well written, the characters immerse you in their world almost immediately, and you will not be able to put this page-turner down once you have been snagged in it's lair. Keep an eye out for Ms. Kiexiza Rodriquez.. this is an author you will most DEFINITELY want to keep up with - and her BEAUTIFUL MESS Series! I certainly do!

True friendship is something that many people may never experience. If you are fortunate enough to experience it, it is something that will last you through the ups and the downs but it lasts a lifetime. Friends will scream, fight, cry and mostly laugh but they will never leave each other. They will love each other forever.

Tierra Rodriquez is a very exceptional woman. At the age of 28, she has accomplished what many men have only tried in her industry, she is the head of the media and entertainment department at her company and on the fast track to higher positions. She is beautiful, driven and won't let anyone or anything stop her from accomplishing her goal. Then all at once Tierra's life seems like it is turned upside down, her best friend Qu pops back into town and is acting strangely, her boss gives her a mysterious envelope and tells her to open it but not right now and the universe seems to be turned on its axis. To add to the mix, client and ex-basketball star Malcom Turner would love nothing more than to be in a relationship with Tierra, how much more can Tierra take?!?

Beautiful is a love story with some heart ache and heart-break. It is a feel good story because it lets you see how two life long friends interact but it shows you how they comfort each other when one is in pain. The characters are you and me on any given day and that makes it a great story because you can definitely relate to the characters and their interactions. There were minor editing issues but nothing that would stop the flow of the story. I enjoyed this story from Rodriquez and I look forward to continuing this Beautiful Mess series.

Reading revised copy/edition. Genre: Inspirational Romance Mystery. Author sent as electronic format for review.

So far, I'm enjoying it on so many levels: mentally, emotionally, and physically. She makes the reader not only engage in the character, Tierra's life story, but also how she blames herself for a dreadful experience for going the wrong way home (short-cuts). Sometimes, we fail to realize that short-cuts can lead to a major disaster in our lives too. Yet, we tend to blame others for our actions, even God and shut those people out...even those who love you the most. The author did a great job to see these things not only in the character but to re-evaluate our own paths, choices, decisions, and direction we are headed. Forgiveness is so needed; forgive others and even ourselves.

"a relationship isn't a boardroom. You can‟t go in it and say this is supposed to be like this, and that is supposed to be like that, and expect things to happen that way. A relationship only works when two people are compatible. You have to look out for each other, nurture each other, trust each other, and rely on each other." (p. 223, ebook version).

AAMBC REVIEW OF MY NOVEL BEAUTIFUL

The story of Tierra "Ti" Rodriquez is a phenomenal love story focused
on a woman torn between love for her best friend and finding her way
back to God. The author Kiexiza Rodriquez brilliantly wrote and created
a life within Tierra allowing readers to vision a life willing to find
true love. When Tierra is hit with many stumbling blocks from rape, to
loneliness, fear of commitment, and the search for a strong faith she
finds herself running from reality. All along her best friend Qu, who
has been her friend for her entire life, is secretly in love with her.
In this novel "Beautiful" you will laugh, cry, praise, and most of all
fall in love with these characters. This story was a page turner,
grabbing my attention one sentence at a time. The ending was just as I
had hoped. I can not wait for the sequel I give Kiexiza Rodriquez four
stars. This is a must read, that you and your family should get.

BRIEF SUMMARY
Tierra has a successful life with her career, though she has no one to share it with. Her best friend, Aquarians, is back in town and is going through the lost of someone. When both Tierra and Aquarians reconnect, things start to fall apart.

THOUGHTS

I thought this was a nice story. Once Tierra and Qu, reconnected a lot starts to unfold around Tierra, as well as tragedy. Before this love story Tierra and Qu were best friends who lost touch and reconnect after what happens in Qu's life. There are also talks of church and religion within this story, which I had no issues with. Now, although I found the story to be nice, I didn't connect fully with the characters. Throughout most of the story I was trying to connect but found my self unable to. Nevertheless, I still found the storyline appealing.

The book begins with two good poems and goes on to show a picture of the life of a diva - then it gets better and better. It's a story of a young woman who hides a deep fear and shame so far inside she has to leave her loving family and friends, and God; and go into a career that will take all of her time and energy - an ice queen, rich and successful, but alone.
Love is a strong part of this book - the family love between old friends and family members, and the mature love of couples. Trust and the lack of trust; and the tensions that arise when trust is an issue. It's so easy to shove hurt or shame far away inside where one hopes it will never surface instead of sharing it and embracing the consequences.
When she turns back to God and starts to thaw out, the danger is her unused emotions and lack of experience. With God to guide and a little help from one of his messengers...well, I don't want to spoil it for you, it is too good a story.

What happens when two people with diametrically opposed views about what they want in life and what a marriage is all about - what their role should be - get married? Almost any married person could answer that with a story of their own; but in this ongoing story of Beautiful women with messed up lives (another normal condition) the tale is told with finesse and with a cliffhanger that leaves the reader wanting more. The best part of this exciting and fast paced story is that God is front and center through all their lives - and community is a vital ingredient in the mix that makes up receipt for a wonderful life adventure.

Kiexiza Rodriquez’s “Beautiful” is a must read. From the very beginning you will be drawn to her relationship with her friends and herself while watching the pieces of the mysteries come into play. Weaved into a remarkable story¸ you’re left wanting more once the ending draws need. With more to come, I can’t wait to see what happens with the rest of the “Beautiful” series.

Executive position suits this classy, sassy, high-class professional, but the only woman in the company. Soon, she runs back into her long-time friend, Aquarian (QU) Speene. Other valuable lessons taken from this novel:
*add God in your conversations
*long-term friendships between Tierra and Shireece
*male friendships, treated like a brother/sister relationship
*a family that prays together, stays together and unleashes the power of forgiveness and healing

The author has improved on their writing style, yet still proofreading issues such as punctuation, word inconsistency (pay roll should be payroll) to name a few. Overall, as a reviewer and author, I see how this writer has grown, filled in the blanks of the hidden pieces in this new version of the novel, and ready to read the next novel in the series. If you love romance, chick-lit, and contemporary fiction—this is a match for your book reading pleasures.

WOW!!! This wasn't at all what I'd imagine would happen to these characters! My heart was ripped out of my chest when character Sasha wouldn't stop her crazy tactics, trying to bring The Willis marriage to halt, now with the drama in and about their marriage, Shi is having a mental and physical meltdown with all that's gone on. The nerve of some people. Somewhere down the line Sasha's a prefect subject for the paddywagon, padded room, straightjacket and the goofy medz, Hey only one can wish.

I'm thinking somewhere in her lala world in her brain; that she believes what's not real. Finally my favorites couple thus far find each other, but will they be able to stay together or will their fate of wedded blitz be a fairy-tail? The playa that I've grown to love, he's a class act, but I'm not sure what trick or tricks he'll pull to get his next woman to his seduction pad.... well Tierra is a woman, that has once again knows her business, and doesn't mind showing what she's working with even if it means they her male counterparts have to stay on the porch with their tail tucked beneath them.

She takes the game to a new level; who runs the world? As for Malcolm he's just a man that's threatened by any woman with power, but he thrives off of the weak women, that have no self-esteem and can basically control them with fear, but not sure if Trina will bounce back and finally break free of the Mr.Syndrome. Now Vito.... wonder who spent the night with him... yes the one in question? I have my suspects :). Well I would highly recommend this book, however, I would really encourage the first "Beautiful" and followed by this one!! You're in for a treat..... This book will have you on the edge of your seat, it's packed with some many twist, turns, high and lows. Get ready to go on a ride....... Steamy!!! Grab your copy NOW!!!

Beautiful captures the hip-hop generation with a materialistic business woman, Tierra "Ti'". She works for Baxwell Enterprisez handled various accounts from music, media, entertainment, real estate, and other business venues. She has made a turn for the worldly pleasures such as drinking, living lavishly, and dismissed church/God. She goes to wait on Qu, and gets a touch of the Holy Spirit, then gramma (grandma) gets on her case about God and quit blaming the devil for her hell.

We see a woman who wants to lose her faith when things does not go her way, with reminders from her family. Lesson: We can give up on God, but he does not give up on us.

*Minor editing issues. The story was slow in the beginning, but had some valid points about where you spend your time and energy--go back to the Source. Some of the transitions, characters, and events did not flow well for me, not concrete and can visualize yourself in their shoes. You can bind to Tierra out of all the characters, especially the preaching episodes and thought-processes about returning to God.

“This story had the potential to be magnificent however it was just ok. The author took up too much time dealing the materialism of Tierra’s success, using up what I call story fillers to describe name brand items, designer fashion, shoes, furniture blah, blah. I enjoyed the two main characters Aquarius & Tierra and would have like the author to go deeper with them, be more expansive on the trials, tribulations, triumphs and how it inform, transform, impacted, impeded, influenced or hinder their lives, although there was some of that there wasn’t enough to truly develop the characters soulfully. Some things were a bit too vague and choppy and some transitions were a bit rough and other supporting characters were not developed enough, again the space used to talk about stuff could have been more focused.

The writing could have been better spent giving us some real depth of Aquarius there instead on the superficiality of material things. It was irritating. I kept reading skimming through the authors endless blabber on designer this and that/outfits, expensive wine etc., because I wanted to see how Aquarius and Tierra's coming together would unfold. I enjoyed the spiritualism, the re-connection of ones spirituality and the importance of keeping the faith and staying strong.

Would I recommend you read it, sure I would. It had some really good elements to the story.

A good book. Book one of the Beautiful series was an emotional read. It moved a little slow for me in the beginning but it overall picked up and moved fluidly. The copy I had presented some editing issues but I was told that those errors were corrected in the 2nd edition.

This book showed love and friendship and how the two can co-exist. Tierra lives with a life long secret that has scarred her mentally from being capable to discern if she was entitled to be loved.

Aquarian is a man who loves who he loves and yet won't tell because he values the meaning of friendship and isn't willing to sacrifice one for the other. Beautiful made love hopeful and friendship powerful and God surrounding it all.

This bi-lingual author did a great job incorporating her Latina roots into the story of how culture can dictate how stressful situations are handled.

No spoilers in this review, if you want to know what the secrets are and how the story ends with the twists and turns you have to buy the book.

Aside from the editing I don't have any bad things to say about this book. I liked it and romance is usually not my thing but it had drama and sex.

It was a real story that's believable. I look forward to the next installment of this series.

This book is a 4 star read.

Seduction Leads to Destruction!

“Beautiful Seduction” is the story of five friends who have known each other for years. As the story unfolds, there are secrets, lies, infidelity, abuse, attempted murder and a roller coaster of emotions all rolled up in this novel.

I can truly say this was an excellent storyline, one that I enjoyed immensely. With that being said, there are many grammatical and spelling errors, missing words, even the author's name is used at one point instead of Tierra's. Chapters were named initially but at chapter 22 the author just started numbering the chapters instead of using titles. The editing issues were so severe that I could not really enjoy this novel like I wanted to nor can I overlook them. I would have gladly given this book a higher rating because the plot and all that the story entailed were wonderful, but as a reviewer, I will continue to stress that editing is crucial, and this one failed miserably!

I am, however, anticipating Kiexiza Rodriquez’s sequel and hope the book will be properly edited.

When your job is all you have, you don't have much. Even though she has friends, Ti seems disconnected, and in need of companionship (though she doesn't quite know it at times). Following along with her and her friends, we begin to see why she has shut herself away, and begin to unravel the secrets around her friends. Once again, the characters are well fleshed out, and the plot is well written. I look forward to seeing what happens next in the series.

While I do love the book, the editing took too much away from this book for me to give it a full five stars. If an edition comes out with better editing, I would be more than willing to raise the rating. Another issue I'd noticed, was the naming of chapters only went for the first twenty or so chapters.

While I normally back away from books with any form of religion, I have to admit, this book sucked me in. I enjoyed the poems in the beginning, and enjoyed the realistic dialogue between the characters. The characters had depth, and I really enjoyed Ti and Qu's interactions.

Aside from some grammar issues, and a few suggestions for formatting, which I do not believe delete from the star rating, this was overall a wonderful book! I look forward to reading the next in the series.
