It was okay as far as Autobiographies go. It was kind of boring at first but I slowly started to enjoy it. I felt like this book was giving my a mini science lesson.

An excellent overview of Charles Darwin's life for students. The explanation of evolution with the example of the pesticide DDT was great. Also, the example of the evolution of the finch population on the island, Daphne Major, showing evolution doesn't go only one way was well done.

This is a well written chapter book about the life and works of Charles Darwin. The author did a wonderful job conveying some of the more complicated reasoning behind the theory of evolution in an easy to understand way. Perfect for middle/high school students.
