The many practical uses for technology are explored in this book that is also filled with photographs. Readers will be interested in the quick facts and questions that are provided as they wonder who actually flies an airplane that is pilotless or how stripes get into toothpaste without the colors all merging. As far as robots making dinner, that's already happening to some extent since frozen dinners are prepared by robots. It's fun to consider all the possibilities raised in this book.
