TWO fundamental parts of British life are:
A) Feeding ducks in the park and wishing you were far away
B) Watching the girls go by and spending money on beer
C) Feeding the pigeons and sometimes feeding the sparrows, too
D) Opposing terrorist groups and serving on juries

Lots of questions about terrorism and juries, not nearly enough about the important stuff (independent record labels, watching Come Dine with Me when you’re hungover, The Kittens’ Wedding and other taxidermy by Walter Potter)

I saw this in my local library under the 'new' section and was intrigued about how a person gains British citizenship. As a Brit by birth I have conversed with a few people that have taken this test, and heard that the questions/tests can be pretty Indepth, and that many Brits wouldn't even know the answers themselves!
So... admittedly, this is a study guide, but insightful into this part of the process nonetheless.
All I can say is that it feels like INDOCTRINATION to the highest degree. Thank goodness that I don't have to go through this ghastly test, I would end up with an even greater distaste for the monarchy/ ruling classes foul legacy and history of slavery, racism, colonialism and so on.
Good luck to you if you have to undertake this test, I give thanks that I can return the book to the library half-read with no further worries.

It's a very brief intro to the material you need to learn. Better avoid this one and go directly to the study guide
