I got a free copy of the first chapter of the story. I really enjoyed it and would very much like to see how the story continues.
Asper describes the lives of a number of people after an alien attack has hit the USA. In the first chapter we are introduced to the characters and given some background. The characters are interesting and the story draws you in quickly. Too bad it was just a first chapter, I would have loved to find out what happens next....

Very interesting story set in a post-apocalyptic time frame. Aliens have come and gone. Now what? I can't wait to read the next installment. Great short story!

not gonna lie here. ugh. not my favourite book ever. couldn't get into it one bit, and I'm really disappointed that I couldn't read it. really I skimmed through it. /:
