A fantastic analysis of Joe Smith’s contemporary influences and his own personal writings within the context of native Americans. I’m still astounded that Vogel had this published by Signature DURING his undergrad. That says a great deal about his scholarship. Especially considering that 50% of this book is footnotes and works cited.

5/5.

Interesting, but strained.
