[Siren Epic Romance, Erotic Alternative Paranormal Romance, M/M, with M/M/M, shape-shifters, HEA] Salvador is an ancient vampire who has come to America to settle a score with Kraven, the master vampire of Hamilton County. What he hadn't expected was to find his mates. John Freedman, formerly the leader of the Death Squad, must save Omar from the government, who is holding him in the last remaining detention center. When a stranger shows up claiming he wants to help, Freedman isn't so sure he wants the man anywhere near him—especially considering the fact that Salvador is a vampire. Omar Reed is in a truly messed-up situation. His parents had been less than understanding, and then his alpha knocked him down to juvenile status, an insult to any changeling breed. Worse yet, Omar was captured and experimented on by a sadistic scientist. As the war against nonhumans becomes critical, the three spend most of their time just trying to stay alive, but there's plenty of chemistry between them to take up the rest. Can they find enough common ground when their clothes are on to last forever? When Dorian is critically wounded, no one is sure if he will live or die, until Salvador offers a choice that just might send Rick over the edge. NOTE! You are purchasing Siren's newest imprint, the Siren Epic Romance collection. This is Book 6 of 7 in the Rise of the Changelings series. The series shares an overall story arc with many crossover characters playing major roles in each book. These books are not stand-alone and should be read in their numbered order. ** A Siren Erotic Romance

With every last one of the books in this series, I swear you get to 'points' where you think its the 'cliffhanger' and then look at the page number and think huh? What else is left for this particular set of character story.. not to mention all the background stuff going on.

Dorian... while its clear from the blurb that Dorian will have to be converted to be saved.. HOW is the question! I must say, it won't be quite what you naturally expect.. there is a twist :)

Omar continues to experience problems throughout the book from his experimentation. I actually expected him to be the weakest character but surprisingly in my opinion it's Freedman. Omar has to whether the changes he's going through and the torture he endured he may be hesitant to jump in and accept his mates right away but is still willing to open his heart to his mates.

Freedman, while if done properly a dominant personality find his love(s) and becoming..softer.. is a sweet and hot thing. I had a little trouble connecting to Freedman in this book thou. He is not only the weakest member in the triad (in that he is human vs vampire and changeling) but is the last to actually open up. His 'softer' side for mates came out a bit forced to me.

Salvador, for an ancient vampire he's got wicked powers. My biggest complaint would be that the older and more powerful a vampire becomes the faster they 'tire' out. WHAT the crap is that!? Should be the other way around to me. Should be less feeding, less tiring out from expending energy, etc. Plus on a side note.. WHY would he destroy what he came for instead of using them against a new threat from Kraven? That was a stupid move to me.

There are still a few twists to stumble through even though we are almost at the end of our journey. For me... I'll be holding on to the edge of my seat enjoying the bumpy ride.

The only reason that kept this from being a 5 is that Salvator was pretty er...weak for an ancient...
