FINALLY AN EROTIC SERIES THAT IS BELIEVABLE - thank you facebook for leading me to this 'indie-author'
I have only recently begun to read self-published authors, I felt that they would be inferior or really badly written, and sadly that is usually the case, BUT NOT I am pleased to say with this author (yes there are some typos and grammar errors but they get less and less as the volume progresses - I assume the author got more confident as he continued).
SO what did I think? I LOVED IT, the two main characters SETH and AMBER are totally believable as a couple and it is clear that the author had put a lot of thought in to these two characters (I get the impression that the couple are fictionalised versions of a real couple: the dialogue, the way they interact with each other is just too believable for them to be entirely from the author's mind).
These four stories are HOT, SEXY, KINKY and in places darn right DIRTY, just what I was looking for in an erotic story and although some of the things these two get up to are WAY OUT of my comfort zone the author handled those situations so well and with skill that I actually found myself thinking 'mmm I wouldn't mind trying that'.
It is clear that the author is male as the descriptions of AMBER are far more detailed than those of SETH but I actually really liked that, I like that you get an idea of the type of man SETH is: kind, compassionate, loyal with a tragic past (and if he is based on a real man then I want to find that man and grab him for myself), the brief descriptions of SETH's physical appearance: 'tight and sinewy arms' etc also work for me, this way it makes SETH more intimate in my mind and I can picture HOW I THINK HE LOOKS.
The author weaves such a beautiful visualisation of Cornwall that I found myself longing to jump in my car and to visit the locations mentioned and the author has also managed to create some strong secondary characters in the likes of TINY and NAOMI.
The sex scenes are super hot and are handled skilfully and really got me worked-up (surely the whole point of erotica) and the love story between SETH and AMBER is the kind we all yearn for: they care for each other so deeply and this is articulated in the simplest of tasks, never has making a coffee or having a smoke appeared soooo loving and the banter between them only shows how much they love each other.
The author has written a very strong and capable female character: AMBER is a qualified veterinary surgeon who then becomes SETH's manager, a role that she makes her own, with a wicked smart brain as well as an amazing figure (and as a redhead myself I found myself smiling at some of her traits).
MY GOD I AM ADDICTED TO THIS SERIES and I have now purchased the rest of this author's catalogue, and that's the other good thing I'd like to mention here, the author has priced his books perfectly, they're so cheap as to make buying them an easy decision.
PLEASE GO TRY THIS SERIES and keep your mind open to all the endless possibilities.

Seth & Amber: 3 in 1 Edition (Exclusive Bonus Story) (A Seth & Amber Erotic Tale) by Nathan L. Flamank is a compilation of 3 novellas, plus a bonus short story. It is a journey shared with Seth and Amber, a couple married for 10 years, who have no children, but have many dear friends. Amber is a veterinarian and Seth is a writer who has recently gained success with one of his books. They live in a renovated barn in the country. By all accounts, Seth and Amber are basically average people, living an ordinary life. They deeply love each other and express it openly, passionately, and without shame. They celebrate Seth’s birthday where he receives a gift from Amber of a coupon book which changes both of their lives by opening them up to new experiences. While most of the experiences are surprising and enjoyable, occasionally they are also shocking and distasteful to the characters and perhaps to the reader as well. The couple later celebrate Amber’s birthday where Seth goes to great lengths to give his wife a birthday she will never forget. Seth does not tolerate Amber’s peeking to see her gift before it was revealed. But Amber has a few surprises for Seth, too.
I originally intended to read another book, Rage Against the Machine, by Nathan L. Flamank because I adore murder mysteries. However, I was compelled to read this one first because quite frankly, I also enjoy getting out of my box once in while to explore new things. I was delighted to discover characters who in many ways could be anyone on the street. They do not have perfect lives, but they love each other. Together, they share what life has to offer them with an open mind. Sometimes they enjoy the experience and other times they do not. Nathan L. Flamank handles some of the taboo activities the couple experiences with remarkable skill. While not everyone will enjoy reading about those activities, the author explains in the book’s forward the purpose behind his inclusion of those taboo activities and how he intends to handle them in future Seth & Amber books. Nathan L. Flamank’s talented writing ability allowed me to enjoy the book as a whole and I look forward to meeting Seth and Amber again.

So my girlfriend and I finished this yesterday, we already read the first three tales and got this for the bonus story SCHOOL'S OUT and weren't disappointed, its great to read erotica thats written from a male perspective. It might just be me but its a little more gritty, a little bit more "real" and where this author succeeds as far as we're concerned is how he writes about the little things, about how messy sex can be, we all know these things but hardly anyone writes about it.
My girlfriend loves this series, her exact words were "see, a man that's not perfect, that has insecurities, and he's not a billionaire, its refreshing".
We recommend these books to couples everywhere, and if you're a man reading this, all I can say is that you'll probably enjoy them too.
Great experience to read as a couple, it gave us plenty of ideas....

I loved this collection of stories about the very hot, erotic tales of Seth and Amber.
I was not repulsed by the 'water play'scenes but found them quite amusing. I had never heard the term 'water play' but have heard it referred to as a 'golden shower'. I think 'water play' makes it sound more posh but, I must admit, it is not something I would indulge in!
It was also nice change to read an erotic novel penned by a man - it sort of makes it more real.....
I look forward to reading more tales of naughtiness surrounding this daring and sexually exciting couple!

Whew, I was sweating like a sinner in church reading this book! Because Seth and Amber are married and so much in love is what makes this book so hot! Everything they do for each other, and with each other, I could just feel the emotions. I can't wait to read more!

April 11, 2013Zero Stars: I can not even write a review for this. Could not finish it. First time I could not finish a book. It was almost as if I was reading in monotone. He said, she said, he thought, she thought etc. I was surprised it didn't comment on how many breadths they took between sentences or in a day. Thank the good Lord I got it free!
