I just wish that the author would spend a little more time on who the ghosts were in life. Spend as much time on the hauntings and you (extensively) do on the architecture and history of the site. Very atmospheric writing. A good/decent introduction on the topic, but more can be gleaned from contemporary Wikipedia pages. Was hoping for more.

Picked this up at a second hand bookshop in Bloomsbury in London. It seemed a fitting purchase.

Well written and interesting look at some of the ghosts of London. I say some, because it would be impossible to write about them all without it resulting in something the size of the Encyclopedia Britannia.

An enjoyable read if you're into ghosts and history.

Highly recommended.

Nice book, lots of history. It wasn't so much scary or spooky as it was factual. The writer really researched the history of the places the reported hauntings are taking place.
