Two children discover and share the pleasures of a windy day.

There's not much of a "story" here, but the illustrations by Elena Temperin are adorable.

This is a cute nonfiction story for young children. My 3&4 year old were interested in learning about the way wind moves over land and sea, how it effects different things in our world, and ways to observe it’s strength. I think there was just enough information in here for little readers to learn something, and the adorable illustrations helped capture their interest. Perfect read aloud for a preschool or early elementary weather unit.

Picked up to read in the local library due to the charming illustrations - a lovely story about all the things the wind can do, even when you can't see it. Perfect to add to a 'weather' topic box in an early years classroom or share with your children or class on a windy day.

Connor is enjoying this series of three Usborne books about what children experience in different weather conditions through the seasons. I really liked this one, which is framed as dialogue between a younger brother and older sister, and even gets into how wind is used to generate electricity.

Text fără niciun substrat, care nu atrag copilul către o recitire viitoare. Ilustrațiile salvează din calitatea acestei cărți.

I really couldn't find myself loving this book. The pictures are cute and neat, but the story seemed to go nowhere. There is some cause and effect situations in the book that would helpe teach about nature, but besides finding out what happens on a windy day, it really wasn't that great of a children's book for me.

Great book to help children understand the concept of wind and even though you can't see it...there are ways to tell it is there. A very cute book and well illustrated.
