Would you let the love of your life risk it all? What if he asked you to do the same?
Young intelligence officer Harry is smart, ambitious and loyal.
But this loyalty leads him into the heart of a dark conspiracy.
Meeting Sarah, a country girl called up to crack codes in secret wartime nerve centre, he slowly realised the depth of the betrayal and the danger Britain is in as they uncover a sickening plot to rule Europe in partnership with the Nazis.
Jack Norman had a great story idea centered in an actual event in "Broken Crystal." I enjoyed reading the book and the cast of supporting characters. At times, there was too much explanation and/or description that muddied the plot development, but I quickly learned to speed read through those sections. The main thing that I didn't like was the ending. Mr Norman used his last chapter as a summary catch all for his characters instead of continuing the narrative of the story. It felt like he had written his quota of pages and needed to finish the book as quickly as possible. That being said, I did like the book and very glad I chose it to read.
