The Adventures of Jack Brenin #4

The Lost Treasure of Annwn

Rate this book
Many centuries ago, one of Annwn’s greatest treasures, a golden torc, was broken into three pieces and hidden away for safe keeping. If Jack Brenin can find the pieces and remake this lost treasure it will prove beyond doubt that he is the rightful heir to the throne of Annwn.

The Lost Treasure of Annwn, following on from his adventures in Silver Hill, sees Jack wrestling with a daunting mission. Jack must find the missing pieces and remake them into the king’s torc or there will be no coronation at Samhain. If Jack is unsuccessful in his quest he will only be King of the Festivals, like his ancestor before him. At the same time he is troubled by dreams about Velindur and has to cope with the local bullies. Featuring all the series’ favourite characters, including Camelin, Elan and the Dorysk, The Lost Treasure of Annwn is about friendship, loyalty and determination, and proving your worth to yourself and others.

Книгата много ми хареса. Подариха ми я за рождения ден и въпреки, че е номер 4 от поредицата, прочетох първо нея, за да видя дали ще ми хареса и да си купя и останалите. Е хареса ми. 5/5💛📚

I love, love the Jack Brenin series. If you loved the Harry Potter series you will undoubtedly enjoy this series. This was the fourth book in the series and it follows Jack during his trials and subsequent quest to find the lost treasure of Annwn before he can be crowned king. Jack must complete his quest without the aid of magic all the while trying to avoid valindur(he believes he's the rightful king) and the town bullies. He also has to help build a go-kart he never planned on building with his grandad and friend elan.Throw in a cranky Raven and let the fun begin. If you never read a Jack Brenin story start with the Golden Acorn I guarantee you will be addicted in no time. Its perfect for reading to your little ones before bedtime or anytime.

We loved the series, both my 9 year old son (at the time) and myself.
A saga of summer school vacations in the country, bullies and how to deal with them, grandfatherly love and bonus a lot of magic adventures and how to build your courage. And the druids. We are in love with this set.
